It gives the impression that prices may vary depending on who's asking, rather than being consistent and fair. As a customer, I want to know exactly what I'm paying for before I bring items up to the counter. Clear, visible pricing would make the shopping experience much more trustworthy and convenient. They're super friendly and helpful. Has bulk and singular items to buy for shops or personal use. They have everything labeled and organized for the most part. The only drawback I have is how SUPER tiny& compact the inside of the store is. You can still walk through but might have to lean up on one side to let someone pass. At least it wasn't too bust when I went in. It's directly to the left of the Asian supermarket so it's tiny and hard to miss if you're not paying attention. read more

I simply love the supply they have... Yes, there's a BUNCH of OLD polishes in the old wall bins...but aside from that the supplies they have are pro supplies & LOTS of them. I think their prices are great for what they have. Definitely comparable to Amazon or even factory direct from some companies. I always find the best dual nail polish and gel combo sets here. Sure they could clean up and organize a bit, but meh...I just overlook all that & focus on what I'm looking for. They let you shop in peace and quiet. If you need help, just ask they will help. True they don't always say hello when ya come in the door....but how many stores really do that? I say hello tho if they make eye contact with me. I'm guessing it's a mother and her son working here? She's very nice and he's more on the quiet side. She might be more knowledgeable than him if you have questions. But I think he helps good enough with what he knows. I just moved from LA. I'm a nail tech,And looked for a place to buy professional nail supply. This store is only that kind store in San Diego. I was surprised by the bad attitude of the store persons as well as the other negative reviews. And there are no price tags, how long have the items been there? They are very dirty and old. The special products are behind the cashier, so I can't even look for them directly. When I asked the store person about some product, She almost ignored me and give me a no brand product at a way to expensive. If you are thinking of going to a new place like me, you should not go. This place is only if you're stuck and need it. This place rips you off. How hard is it to put prices? Instead he follows you in a tiny narrow aisle and just makes up a price. Today tried to charge me 34 dollars for a brush to put acyrlic on!!! I said heck no because I could get it on Amazon way cheaper..I ordered better quality 4- for 7 bucks. Nothing more frustrating then a place just tacking on prices as he walks through. The primer and antifungal were open like they fill them up . They buy product in economy sizes and fill it up in a bottle and put a piece plastic bag as a seal and then put the top on and sale it. You can't do that! The tips in the box are older so they turn yellow. You have to find the ones that aren't. I won't be coming back after he tried charging me 34 bucks for acyrlic brush, like I'm an idiot. Wasn't the first time I went here but definitely the last. I seen they still have no prices for anything unless it's on sale. I still decided to shop. As I finished, I asked the guy in front if he could tell me how much for my items. He grabs one, and looks at the back. It says 4 and he says "this is $5" I said even though it says "4?" He ignores me. Grabs my next item, "this is.... Um I think 7." He then grabs an item with 4 quantity he counts there's 4 and says "this should be 10". This place still continues to change the prices as soon as you go to the front. That's why they don't want any prices on the shelves. I'd rather make the drive to LA then to get the price changed on me every time. Bad service. read more

So I wanted to check out this other nail place called Nails Boulevard. I read the reviews and decided to take a cruise to Linda Vista. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that this place wasn't as crowded as the other nail places that I normally shop at. It's very clean inside and doesn't make you feel claustrophobic. Out of the other two that I have gone to for nail supplies, this one is the cleanest and the most organized. They have a big selection and the prices were great. I'm very happy that they had the OPI Serena Glam Slam sets that I have been looking for. I'm only knocking off a star because they charged me sales tax. Was the service good? Yeah. Will I return?? Pros : * Parking is more ample and easier than other nail supply stores * Layout is more open than other nail supply stores * Easier to walk around * Shelves are cleaner and more organized - Items are easier to find * Large selection of OPI (including limited edition collections) * They carry all of the shatter and crackle options * They also carry other supplies such as buffers, dotting tools, lotions, oils etc. Cons : * Selection of China Glaze is more limited (compared to other stores) * Prices are cheap, but not as cheap as VyVy or Viet Nail * Customer service isn't as on point. I walked in and was not greeted. I was in the store for at least 5 minutes before I had to ask for help * Unlike the other stores, Nail Boulevard charges sales tax when you pay cash My haul cost $21.01 for four China Glaze polishes (including three Crackle), one Dotting tool set, a set of Designer Nail wheels (for practicing color combos) and tax (booooo). This is my first time coming to nail supply store, so I don't know what to expect. From my personal opinion, this store is very crowded and not clean. However, the price is the main reason I came here. I got OPI and ESSIE for around 4-5 dollars which is much cheaper than drug stores. I am not sure I will go again or not. The environment is not pleasing at all, but the price is cheaper than everywhere else. This is a dilemma. It's either cleanness of the store or price. They sell Essie for 4.50 and OPI for 5.00 (I think) The Essie nail polish is in better condition than some of the OPI bottles which look a little settled. I love this place! There is a million different colors here. When I come here, I usually leave with a couple of new colors for my collection. Plus they're super cheap! You can get OPI and China Glaze polish for $4.50 to $5! You don't even need a cosmetology license! They also have all the essentials for a nail salon. I went here the other day and sad fully I walked out with nothing. The place was incredibly dirty... So much dust, expired looking nail polishes and who know how long some of those have been sitting there? It looks like a small shop that's run by Asian mom n pops that hardly speak English and they give you discounted prices on polishes that nail salons don't really want..? The Essie ones are by far a lot nice and clean looking that the OPIs and some other ones. It has a lot more too.. The back of the store is stocked with bottles of nail polish remover, adhesives, fake nails and other chemicals.. I think it's a good place to get things for cheap, but it's just frustrating trying to want nail polishes that look so aged and nasty you know? Maybe I just wasn't feeling it today, but despite the good prices like everyone has been saying--best thing is to just get in, take your stuff quickly and leave. read more

They have other brands such as Orly, LA nails, Essie, all for jaw dropping prices. Although I only focus on the nail, they have other professional nail supplies. Don't bother unless you do professional nails and need salon supplies. The quality of polishes there were horrible. Very old, to the point some were changing colors. To salvage the trip I ended up with 2 polishes that seemed okay and a few other tools. Also BEWARE they don't put prices on 95% of items so the cashier made up numbers as he went. So you should know what those items should cost you before hand. read more
