Stopped by on a weekday after dinner to grab a late night dessert. The guys at the counter were super friendly and patient as I took my SWEET time selecting my cookie. The parking lot seemed a BIT sketch, but I devoured my beautiful dessert and left without any issues. Anyways, I definitely recommend y'all stop by and grab an ice cream sandwich! read more

Insomnia Cookies - My Chocolate Chunk cookie with my milk - Desserts Near Me - Oshkosh, Wisconsin

Ahhhhh, so I got a gift card from a friend, and I decided to buy some cookies for my workplace. I ordered ahead on the website. When checking out, I UN-checked the "send me promos and newsletters" check or whatever. The cookies were delicious, riddled with sugar (about 19g per small cookie), and the customer service was lacking. I got an eye roll and a huff when I showed up and asked for my order... that's to be expected, they are stoner/college cookies... I'm frustrated because I have been getting emails and promos from them every couple days or so since. Why does purchasing from a place put you in electronic shackles with them? I unsubscribed several days ago, and I got another email today... it's frustrating read more

The cookies here are amazing, you must try them if you have not!!! I am very confident that any of their cookies will be just as amazing as the ones I have had. read more

Always a good opportunity to get delicious cookies. A bit on the pricey side so we only visit once every couple of months. We use to live in Philly so this is a nice bit of east coast. Service is always helpful. Venue itself is huge for a cookie store. Recently had a new matcha cookie and it's pretty darn good if you like all things matcha! We are always coming back for me. Just beware it can get pricey quick. Happy eating! read more

I'm giving 4 starts because the college age adults working here were great. It's in a location close to campus, but I didn't love the location or access to the business. Would love to see them relocate. We took our nieces after gaming at The Mine Shaft. I felt the prices were really high. Quality was good. Service was exceptional. In my opinion, however, it takes a lot to make a single cookie worth that much. It was good, not exceptional, and didn't leave me dreaming of going back. Based on location they are marketing to the college crowd. The price point should then be more accessible to those living on the resources of the average student. read more

I'm proud. I walked in with the intention of only purchasing one cookie and I stuck with that. One deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup cookie it was. The main thing that makes Insomnia so great is that the cookies are served straight outta the oven. Warm, melted chocolate graces your taste buds and the freshness is real. You will have to shell out a bit of cash for these pups but it's a treat that I'm willing to pay for. read more

Loved having dessert delivered to our hotel room!! The cookies and ice cream were perfect!

Love the warm cookies. I had the chocolate chip and hubby had sugar cookies. Amazing especially when you need something late night to snack on. read more

Ok I wouldn't normally pay $8.50 for 6 cookies, but they were having a deal and I heard so many good things. I paid around $15, including tip and delivery fee, for about 12 cookie and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. They arrive hot and fresh and in a little pizza size box. The delivery dude didn't seem super enthused, but I wouldn't be either if I were delivering at like 2am. They have weekly deals and I never knew places like this existed. They deliver until 3am! I think it's a fantastic idea and they should be in all major college towns. I will be ordering from them again very soon. Their lemon white chocolate and chocolate mint are amazing! read more

"Jonah" was fantastic! Sang me happy birthday and didn't fail on the vocals. He threw in a complementary cookie cause it was my special day. What service! I have not come across customer service like this in a long time. 5 stars! read more

They have very tasty cookies but cannot get your order right. Then they give you coupons but screws that up too. I usually do not complain online about stuff but when its constantly a problem. They need to fix it. Sad to say I will no longer be a customer. read more

Going to insomnia Cookies the service sometimes lacking but the cookies are good. I have experienced the rude lady working but have also had great service for another. I had a $5 coupon they couldn't figure out how to use it. So I didn't get the discount that day. The cookies will keep my business not the service. Need to work on customer service experience and you will see the business grow. Keep the service the was it is and you may be out of business soon. read more

Cookies are delicious, as is the ice cream. Great little place for some sweet treats. However, the middle-aged woman working there was HORRIBLE. I had never been to IC before, and told her this, and asked some questions about the menu. She rolled her eyes, let out exaggerated sighs, and responded with a "uh, DUH!" attitude. Like I was back in middle school, annoying her. SO unprofessional. So RUDE. Then, when I told her I had a coupon, she acted like it was the largest inconvenience... sighing, hitting things, even complaining to me!!?! The customer for having a flippin coupon!!! We came with 8 people from work - all came in at different times as our work ended... and at one point she asked, "well how many more of you are there cuz I have other stuff I need to get done". Literally never had a worse experience of "customer service" in my life. Thank god the cookies were good, but don't know I'll be back. read more

Insomnia cookies typically taste great but if you are waiting for a delivery at night you might just fall asleep before they get to you. The workers often feel stressed and it rubs off on the customer as well. Most of the time this location is out of the cookies you'd want so you'll be waiting for them to cook more. Overall great cookies just not convenient. read more

This being my third semester at UWO's MBA program, I have basically come to terms with the fact that my life sucks. Similarly, my social life is almost too marginal to even warrant a mention. Working a full time job while still being fully immersed in an unforgiving curriculum that demands total commitment can tax the will of anyone. Most of all....Me!. With this in mind, even simple pleasures for me have an intensified magnitude. Like most grad students, I keep bizarre hours that only other grad students are able to have much appreciation or sympathy for. You can be sitting at the library totally focused on a 3 hour study session and not feel hungry at all. Then it begins to come on in waves and you feel like a concentration camp survivor. Sure, Oshkosh has plenty of late night dining options, just like any other town that contains a large university. However, one thing it does not have is a means to satisfy a craving for sweets in the wee hours of the morning. Enter Insomnia Cookie, with it's very novel and niche business concept, to fill this void. The cookies themselves? They are fantastic. Great flavor and no cutting corners in the baking or ingredient process. They also have ice cream and lots of other cookie related items sure to make you feel guilty when you wake up the following morning. The best part? They stay open very late (3AM) and will have your order at the door very quickly. They are not as fast as say, Jimmy Johns, but right around that ballpark. This is a type of delivery service every university should have. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars instead of a 5 based solely on pricing. They are far more expensive than what you are likely to find at Pick and Save or festival. However, the quality and convenience of this service is vastly superior. If you want a premium level of quality and service, it should not come as a surprise that you are forced to pony up a premium price. Insomnia cookie is an excellent temporary way to eek out some pleasure in an otherwise stress filled and utterly mundane existence. read more

Their cookies are always warm and soft, so I enjoy stopping and getting some. Their cookies are kind of expensive, but are totally worth it.

Yummy yum yum! These hot, soft, delicious cookies are wonderful, and delivered right to my friends my door. Well worth the little extra to not have to make them myself. read more

I am just not a fan of this place. I thought the cookies were mediocre at best and overpriced for the size and amount. I guess it's good for college students who don't have time to make their own cookies and are up until the butt crack of dawn studying and writing papers and stuff - I remember those days...and I would've eaten mediocre cookies. read more

A true cookie fanatic here who knows cookies as if they were apart of my natural biological nature. Great service and lots of yummy fresh baked cookies. They tasted great and I left very happy. I have both ordered and picked up cookies from here before. Every time has been great, the cookies have always been warm and delicious. With that being said, I am currently waiting for my cookies to be delivered. It has been 55 minutes since I placed the order online. WOW. Exceptional service, what a great delivery. Tonight my roommate turns 21, and she was bummed for being swamped with homework. So I made a request to have a happy birthday message, and let me tell you they went above and beyond! THANK YOU! :D read more

Horrible experience! Tried ordering them online, wouldn't work. Tried calling and ordering, and i was on hold for 10 mins!! Had to wait 75 mins for my delivery when they're located up the block! (didn't want to walk in the snow) and to top it off, my cookies were cold when they got here!! read more

Worst customer service. Stale cookies. All around this place is a scam and a joke.

A friend of mine took me here and she just loves these cookies....I had no idea this place existed. It's this small shop that just makes cookies. You can just buy one or buy a box full. They had a nice deal if you buy four you get two free. Maybe I wasn't being adventurous but I got six oatmeal raisin cookies. The cookies were fresh, warm...and super delicious. Nice touch with having a cooler with bottles of milk and this place is open late, and when I mean late, I mean 3am. Great location as it's right by the UW-Oshkosh campus. If you college students need to get on a sugar-high, go to Insomnia. read more
