Always a good opportunity to get delicious cookies. A bit on the pricey side so we only visit once every couple of months. We use to live in Philly so this is a nice bit of east coast. Service is always helpful. Venue itself is huge for a cookie store. Recently had a new matcha cookie and it's pretty darn good if you like all things matcha! We are always coming back for me. I'm giving 4 starts because the college age adults working here were great. It's in a location close to campus, but I didn't love the location or access to the business. Would love to see them relocate. We took our nieces after gaming at The Mine Shaft. I felt the prices were really high. Quality was good. Service was exceptional. In my opinion, however, it takes a lot to make a single cookie worth that much. It was good, not exceptional, and didn't leave me dreaming of going back. Based on location they are marketing to the college crowd. The price point should then be more accessible to those living on the resources of the average student. read more

Ok I wouldn't normally pay $8.50 for 6 cookies, but they were having a deal and I heard so many good things. I paid around $15, including tip and delivery fee, for about 12 cookie and let me tell you, it was worth every penny. They arrive hot and fresh and in a little pizza size box. The delivery dude didn't seem super enthused, but I wouldn't be either if I were delivering at like 2am. They have weekly deals and I never knew places like this existed. They deliver until 3am! Cookies are delicious, as is the ice cream. Great little place for some sweet treats. However, the middle-aged woman working there was HORRIBLE. I had never been to IC before, and told her this, and asked some questions about the menu. She rolled her eyes, let out exaggerated sighs, and responded with a "uh, DUH!" attitude. Like I was back in middle school, annoying her. SO unprofessional. So RUDE. Insomnia cookies typically taste great but if you are waiting for a delivery at night you might just fall asleep before they get to you. The workers often feel stressed and it rubs off on the customer as well. Most of the time this location is out of the cookies you'd want so you'll be waiting for them to cook more. This being my third semester at UWO's MBA program, I have basically come to terms with the fact that my life sucks. Similarly, my social life is almost too marginal to even warrant a mention. Working a full time job while still being fully immersed in an unforgiving curriculum that demands total commitment can tax the will of anyone. Most of all....Me!. With this in mind, even simple pleasures for me have an intensified magnitude. Like most grad students, I keep bizarre hours that only other grad students are able to have much appreciation or sympathy for. You can be sitting at the library totally focused on a 3 hour study session and not feel hungry at all. Then it begins to come on in waves and you feel like a concentration camp survivor. Sure, Oshkosh has plenty of late night dining options, just like any other town that contains a large university. However, one thing it does not have is a means to satisfy a craving for sweets in the wee hours of the morning. Enter Insomnia Cookie, with it's very novel and niche business concept, to fill this void. The cookies themselves? They are fantastic. Great flavor and no cutting corners in the baking or ingredient process. They also have ice cream and lots of other cookie related items sure to make you feel guilty when you wake up the following morning. The best part? They stay open very late (3AM) and will have your order at the door very quickly. They are not as fast as say, Jimmy Johns, but right around that ballpark. This is a type of delivery service every university should have. I gave a 4 out of 5 stars instead of a 5 based solely on pricing. They are far more expensive than what you are likely to find at Pick and Save or festival. However, the quality and convenience of this service is vastly superior. If you want a premium level of quality and service, it should not come as a surprise that you are forced to pony up a premium price. Insomnia cookie is an excellent temporary way to eek out some pleasure in an otherwise stress filled and utterly mundane existence. read more

A friend of mine took me here and she just loves these cookies....I had no idea this place existed. It's this small shop that just makes cookies. You can just buy one or buy a box full. They had a nice deal if you buy four you get two free. Maybe I wasn't being adventurous but I got six oatmeal raisin cookies. The cookies were fresh, warm...and super delicious. Nice touch with having a cooler with bottles of milk and this place is open late, and when I mean late, I mean 3am. Great location as it's right by the UW-Oshkosh campus.
