While I was waiting to pay, an older gentleman commented to me that he worked there 62 years ago as a junior in high school, and the recipes have not changed since then. I was sold! When it came time to celebrate my friend's birthday, my whole group agreed that their chocolate cake and cookies brought them back to their childhoods.
