They make all of their ice cream in-house too. - Ice Cream Flight -- mango sorbet / coffee Oreo / cupcake / chocolate chip cookie dough; a great mix of flavors: refreshing fruity sorbet, chunky Oreo goodness, my go-to sprinkle-loaded cupcake flavor, and chewy cookie dough pieces One of the fun things they do is a flavor bracket where customers can vote on new combinations they want the creamery to experiment with. The shop also leans into a playful cow theme throughout the store from the merch to the ice cream cups themselves. Inside is mainly a counter area for ordering desserts and browsing merch, while there are a few tables outside on the patio to sit and enjoy your treats. Service is classic Davis-friendly -- welcoming, relaxed, and they're always happy to let you sample flavors! You really can't say you went to UC Davis without trying Davis Creamery. It's truly quintessential Davis.

They offered a TON of flavors. They ranged from Honey, Ginger and Turmeric to Cherry Chai to plain old vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. I opted for a single scoop of the Honey, Ginger and Turmeric and my son got a scoop of Lemon and Golden Oreos on a cone. We both enjoyed our respective flavors. I love golden drinks so I thought an ice cream version would be yummy! Same for the lemon flavor for my son. The scoops were $4.50 each so it wasn't unreasonable. I'd say it was closer to a soft-serve texture than ice cream. Service was great. It wasn't busy, so we were helped right away!

We ordered the Jamocha Almond Fudge Shake, a cup with 1 scoop Cookies and Cream and 1 scoop of Chocolate Mousse Royale with Whipped Cream and Cherries and then also a Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream Bar. The Jamocha Almond Fudge Shake is always a winner and we were a big fan of the Chocolate Mousse Royale as it was super silky and smooth, but the Dubai Chocolate Ice Cream Bar was just okay - I enjoyed it, but I didn't taste very much pistachio or crunch. Staff was friendly, but also busy and just trying to get through the line of people. We'll be back next time we are in the area, but I will definitely be checking out different flavors to try!

On tonight's visit, I was picking up dessert for a small family get together, and decided on the Oreo ice cream dirt cake. This cake was super fresh, and perfectly delish! Plus the customer service is amazing. The young lady that helped me tonight was super sweet. This location is a bit of a pain for parking because of the location, but nonetheless, it's a great one.

We grabbed a Mango scoop for ourselves and our friends grabbed an Ube scoop. Self ordering kiosk. Staff were nice. We'd come back if we were in the area again.
