I love Insomnia Cookies! It's my go-to late night treat, always served up warm and ready for ice cream. I wish Insomnia was closer to my house! I go with the classic chocolate chunk and a pint of vanilla ice cream. Order before you go to avoid long lines of like minded individuals enjoying this amazingl

Perfect late night dessert snack to get. I came here before closing craving sweets with friends and it was right before the last minute rush of customers started lining up. We enjoyed the Salted Caramel Cookie with 3 toppings (Caramellionaire, Dreamweaver, and Cookie Dough). The cookie was perfectly soft and crumbly. It was my first time having Insomnia Cookie - it's not bad at all but I wouldn't come back specifically for the ice cream.

I had to stop in here since and cookie spot is a magnet for me. The store smells great because it's just smells so edible and good here. I ordered a chocolate chunk, though I much prefer chocolate chips over the chunks but it wasn't an option. I also got an oatmeal cookie too. The chocolate chunk was packed with some chunks of chocolate but that's probably why it was overwhelmingly sweet. The oatmeal cookie was better to me than the chunk at least, but was slight dry to me.

Located on a busy street in Ann Arbor, but we got lucky with a front row spot. The space inside is pretty empty and it's hard to tell if it's always been like this or it's due to covid. So if you don't look around or expect it to be pretty and go straight to the menu on the wall it works out pretty good. We ordered the 6 pack classic cookies, they came out warm and tasty. Our dogs love the smells offered from them because they are super curious about baked goods. Maybe it's the peanut butter. Anyways, it was a great treat for the car ride home.

My son introduced me to Insomnia Cookies during his move in back in August. I decided to send him a delivery of cookies. I placed the order over two hours in advance of the time I wanted them delivered to him. That time comes and passes without delivery, the Cookie Tracker indicates 'Baking' when I check the order status. I phone Customer Service, speak with Morgan who contacts the store in question. I received a notification of an email with a code for six free cookies on my next online delivery order as I was holding. She comes back to the line and states that they indicate they are extremely busy and anticipate it being yet another hour before delivery can be made. I question why with both an email address and phone number for me as the orderer I was not contacted and notified of this. I further inquired as to why there doesn't appear to be such a process in place as I had to contact them to be advised of the delay. She stated the store is to contact them and they would in turn reach out to the customer. She then stated that if my son doesn't answer at the time of delivery the driver goes back to the bakery at such time contact would be made to schedule delivery for another time or day. This was my reasoning for making the purchase and scheduling delivery well in advance. There wasn't any empathy shown nor any sincerity in the apology offered as she reiterated that she sent the email code for six free cookies on a future order placed. I'm quite disenchanted with this initial experience that I find it quite presumptuous that I would desire to do it again given this experience. It add further insult the delivery once it finally made arrived in a regular box despite the $3.00 additional fee paid for a gift box. UPDATE: After submission of this review to their Corporate, I received a reply and have attached it as a photo here.

I can't get no sleep. But I can get extra lbs at 2am. Thanks to Insomnia. I believe in these cookies, so I'm no longer Faithless. I'm not sure why the ratings for these dirt cheap delicious piping hot gooey late night cookies which have been popping up on college campuses all over the place, are so bad. I expect them to be a little bit more appreciated, and the service in this location is nice and prices are as dirt cheap as all the others. Definitely four stars for me, despite being a chain.

OMG and wow wow wee! I love Insomnia Cookies!!! These are seriously some of the best cookies I've ever had! We picked some up at the end of the night after bar hopping in Ann Arbor and they were freshly baked and warm out of the oven. The warm gooey melty chocolate chunk crumbly cookies were amazing and they were just as good the next day even when they were no longer warm and fresh out of the oven! No need to heat them up, they were just as mouth-watering delicious! We were staying at a hotel for a friend's birthday weekend and had just finished the night at Good Time Charley's which is right across the street. My friend was excited to order some cookies to deliver to the room for our group. A few of us also bought some cookies to take home with us. Insomnia cookies is open until 3 am. The first time I remember hearing about them was on a Food Network episode. They started as a couple college kids baking cookies in their dorms or apartment. Their friends could smell the cookies all over the building and then they started selling the cookies and delivering them to friends during late night study sessions. What a brilliant idea! Apparently Insomnia Cookies used to have a cookie food truck on U of M's campus where you could order cookies but U of M shut it down and they eventually opened a storefront and so glad they did. When you first walk in to Insomnia Cookies, your nose is flooded with the delightful aroma of warm freshly baked cookies. There's no turning back now after being seduced by that sweet delightful cookie aroma. There were college kids and late night bar goers lined up around the building which reminded me of how Blaze Pizza looks like at 2 am, coming out of Royal Oak. They have lots of different order options. They have six traditional cookie options including chocolate chunk, peanut butter chip, snickerdoodle, sugar, M&M, oatmeal raisin, double chocolate mint, white chocolate macadamia, and double chocolate chunk. They were unfortunately out of the double chocolate varieties and I'll have to try those next time. Each cookie is $1.65 a piece or you can order a delicious duo which is choice of two cookies and milk for $6.60. They also have ice cream, brownies and ice cream cookie sandwiches and premium cookies which are double the size of the traditional cookies and come in flavors of chocolate peanut butter cup, triple chocolate chunk and s'mores. You can also order a box of cookies. I ordered a box with my choice of six cookies for $9.50. They also had 12 cookies for $17.50 and 18 cookies for $25.75. My friend ordered another box of cookies for the group and had it delivered to the room. She ordered 24 cookies for $33. There was also a delivery charge of about $3 and with tax and tip, it was around $45. They were delivered pretty quickly and soon as we opened the box and saw the glorious cookies that were steaming with sweet freshly baked delicious cookie aroma, we were all oohing and ahhing and simultaneously salivating. The chocolate chunk and peanut butter chip cookies were definitely my favorite of all the ones we tried. The peanut butter chip reminded me of the cookies I baked as a kid with my mom, that you would cross hatch the top with a fork. So peanut buttery and delicious! The M&M cookies were also good and I fully intended to only eat half a snickerdoodle cookie but it was so good I ate the whole thing. I've been dreaming about these cookies ever since! I checked out their website, and you can actually order a box of cookies and they ship nation wide! So I'm definitely ordering a box of cookies for family gatherings during Christmas and the holidays. If you follow them on social media, they also give you one free traditional cookie with purchase. Seriously the best cookies I've ever had! I love Mrs. Field's and Insomnia Cookies puts her cookies to shame, lol. Don't take my word for it. Check them out for yourself! Your tastebuds and tummies can thank me later!

Well let me start by saying, I really looked forward to coming here. So much so that I drove twenty minutes out of the way to get here. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and placed my order promptly. The second staff member who actually took my order did not seem interested in taking it. She was nice enough, but my order was wrong. Of course I didn't realize this until I was pulling away so I just said forget it. It wasn't particularly crowded so I am surprised that she rushed through my order. I was very disappointed because I did not get the ones that I was looking forward to, but at least I did get the key lime cookie that I wanted to try because it is seasonal. The cookies were good, but the attention to detail was lacking. If I happen to be in the area, I may stop in but after my order being totally wrong, I won't be rushing back.

Well. The hype was worth it. I got double chocolate chip cookie & BF got the mint. They were good considering we have let it sit in the car & waited after dinner to have at it. They offer a lot more than just regular good ol cookies. The price is reasonable. And entering their store is heavenly. We will definitely come back to try other stuff.

A few weeks ago I had a really rough day. And, like many people, when I have a rough day I self soothe with sweets. I was also very exhausted and in no shape to prepare anything at home or go anywhere to get anything. What's a grumpy girl to do? Enter the wonder that is Insomnia Cookies. Insomnia Cookies, as it sounds, is a late night cookie shop. Typically found on university campuses to provide sugar rushes for those students pulling all nighters. Living in a college town means I am a beneficiary of this beautiful business model. The shop itself is open but they also do cookie delivery. Amazing. And not just cookies--ice cream, brownies, sundae fixins and more. Hot DAMN. Ordering is a breeze. They have a website so you can pick what you want without having to dictate your order to a human being who may or may not judge your late night decisions. Prepay online and then wait for your delivery. It took about 30 minutes but the cookies came right to my door via a cheerful gal and I didn't even have to get out of my pjs. You do have to pay extra for delivery and such but desperate times call for desperate measures. They have rotating specials so I took advantage of that day's--12 cookies for $12. I got a mix of pretty much everything they offer. From chocolate chip to M&M, snickerdoodle and basic sugar. All were fantastic and came to my door warm and gooey. I also did a pint of vanilla ice cream and while it was a little soft it was REALLY good ice cream. Not sure if they make their own or bring it in from somewhere else but the vanilla was fab. Stuffing my face with a few cookies and a scoop of vanilla ice cream didn't erase the crummy day but it did definitely dull the sting.

Of course! I thought I would hear back saying something on the lines of... On my way! or I'm here! Instead, I was looking at the clock and thought I would look out my window. As it was, there was a car parked precisely where I told them to park. I went to the front door and a young man was standing there as if he had been there awhile. I asked if he rang the bell and he said yes, though I didn't hear my doorbell. No worries... He hands me my one bag and very small pkg of TP. The total was 60+ and I expected more bags, but no worries again, then I see he bought the most expensive grapes, the smallest/greenest Cantaloupe, 5 fairly yellow bananas, (for which I had requested greener ones) the smallest bag of spinach and 3 tomatoes I am fairly sure were not "organic" at all. He selected Kroger's, which is my "go to" and I know their products very well, and he did select the most expensive of almost every item. Called the number but received a VM. Reason for my call? The price had not been adjusted for the TP substitution. Hopefully, Benny will call me with a new total on my one and only order with Delivice. So, when you put this one lil ol' service of mine all together, I rate it a two (2). I have ordered from three other local A2 delivery services and found each to be far more superior and professional. They provided a much better communication between shopper and customer, better product selections and each had a much better "user friendlier" website (BTW). Also, I think giving a new customer a discount is smart, maybe then I wouldn't feel so "ripped off!" and disappointed. You did not, and I have left your sphere. Good bye and Good Luck. This has meant no more waste, no spending a bunch on eating out, much less time grocery shopping and meal planning, but still able to cook and eat together at home. Meez has been a new addition and has a lot about it that is great. The most remarkable thing is how quick it is to cook as they do ALL the prep for you. No chopping or peeling, it comes vacuum packed and ready to use whether that means cubed, shredded, or sliced. Also, quality of ingredients (while not necessarily organic, is very good, fresh, tasty). Generally Meez meals take 1/2 the time to make as the other services that rely on you doing the prep work. The meals themselves tend to be quite tasty, though we have not been crazy about some quirky flavor combos. Also, fewer meals to choose from than other services, so that can be frustrating. We have two vegetarian teenagers and there are always at least three veggie entrees. Also they are able to flex and make items vegan or gluten free if that is your thing. They tend to be somewhat lower calorie and some meals have the Weight Watchers points included if you care about that. The people at Meez are very nice and accommodating. However, they are a relatively newer, smaller business so.....NO app, just a website and its interface with my android phone is quirky. Also, other services show you menus for months to come, Meez has a couple weeks out only. Finally, Meez sends you a cardboard instructions, no pictures or step by step while most others do photos of each step. Not a big deal for me, but some might care. That said, I think they are greener and more of their stuff can recycle. Also, the other companies give you the whole recipe with amounts if you ever want to do it yourself. I have not seen that with Meez. In sum, great quality, super easy to make, very flexible for different dietary needs, no hard sell, just charged if you order (many services charge and send food unless you cancel). I use Meez for about 8 to 10 meals each month. Highly recommend you check them out.
