I came all the way from Chula Vista, Ca just to have a super delicious Reuben sandwich. Did NOT disappoint! The staff is super friendly, hospitable, and very attentive. I will be back for another Reuben! I have not found another as delicious as The Inside Scoop's. Thank you for the amazing experience and yummy food read more

We walked in to a very friendly young lady asked us if we were eating or just wanted ice cream. This is an old school ice cream parlor that is charming, clean and comfortable. read more

45 minute wait for 2 burgers that were just ok. Avoid the wait and just hit McDonald instead.

INSIDE SCOOP got the best crushed ICE for your beverages!! also brownies were deliciously filling.

Totally dug this spot. Went for nice ride on my motorcycle and stopped to grab some lunch. I had the Ruben and was awesome! Great taste and not to big that I was uncomfortably stuffed. The curly fries were perfect. Nice and crispy with a good flavor. I enjoyed the small town dinner feel and look of the place. The people were nice and very helpful. If your out on a ride or passing threw with the family I would definitely stop in to eat. They also had ice cream but that doesn't travel well on two so next time I guess. read more

All the stars for staff and service. They were patient with me and my girls after a long day of traveling. We were indecisive and very hungry. I ordered food to go for lunch the next day and they packed it to go with care, knowing we wood be eating outdoors. The ice cream was a great treat. Typical diner food. read more

What a great little place! Clean, friendly and helpful staff. We called ahead a few days to tell them that the Mustang and Classic Ford Club would like to stop there. So since we got there a little before 11am, the staff looked out at 16 people waiting for them to open. They did great! Moved some tables around for us and made sure we had enough room We all ordered food, and they did a fantastic job getting it all prepared and out to the table quickly and smoothly. And what great food it is! I have not had a Club Sandwich that good in years. And I live in Las Vegas. Every other member was pleased with their food as well. One member went silent until he cleaned the Ruben off of his plate - a rare instance. Then we started on the Ice Cream. Wow. Generous servings of high quality ice cream. Everyone left with big smiles. Thanks to everyone there! read more

Expect to be waiting for your food for at least an hour.... it is a small town maybe they are understaffed in the back, but I do know there's always people looking for jobs, it can't be that hard to hire a couple more people. The food is good though. The staff are nice, but I've always had a problem with seeing people handle food without gloves on. Hair nets should be required for everyone involved with making the food... especially if you have long greasy hair !!!! The ice cream is great, very good ice cream. read more

One of the handful of restaurants located in Overton. We stopped by for a quick lunch and the place seemed to be popular for locals. I chose the special which was a turkey croissant BLT with avocado. The sandwich hit the spot, fresh cold cuts piled high on a Flakey croissant. I will try a hot sandwich on the next visit. Also tried the split pea soup which tasted homemade and not out of a can. If your ever in Overton and need a place to eat this place will definitely cure your hunger pains. read more

Great place for food and ice cream, customer service is good.everyone needs to come and check them

The food was fantastic, service spot on! A small diner in a little town made it a wonderful experience!

Love the burgers here since they are flame cooked. The staff is amazing and very nice. The atmosphere is old school ice cream shop style. The ice cream shop part has so many different options for sundaes and banana splits. Definitely stop in here during your adventures in our small town. The BLT's are bomb also as they use a lot of bacon. Yummy. read more

Super tasty!! It takes a while to get your food, so if you're starving be ready to wait a bit. I had a burger and it was one of the best I've had, though! Their ice cream is really good too, and definitely hit the spot after a day working out in the field. It's a fun little place, I'll definitely be back when I come visit the area again! read more

Yes the great reviews brought me in. Cool little town place. Had the Spencer burger and onion rings. Burger was big, but flavor was just okay. Onion rings on point. I would visit again and try something different. Staff was super friendly. read more

On each of our vacations we always search out ice cream stores. This was surprisingly in the top 20%. Maybe even 10%. Great tasting ice cream. Super creamy. Service was wonderful. Scoops were BIG. Only gripe would be that they should have more flavor choices. read more

What a great little spot. We were camping in the valley of fire and our friends told us to check out their ice cream. We made the trip and it was worth it! The one way I estimate how good the ice cream is, is by ordering my favorite flavor... pistachio! There was generous amount of pistachios and the flavor was delicious! We will have to return when we camp here. read more

We stayed in town for the Rise Festival. It's in a small town and not a lot of places to eat. I checked yelp and found Scoops. What a great find, I had the chicken club sandwich and Wow it's delicious and packed with meat. The restaurant is clean and has a good feel to it. It was fun to see the locals eating here too. Lots of parking and you can also get ice cream.. Blue bunny ice cream, we bought the food to go. The service was fantastic, if your close by check them out. read more

Found a little piece of Heaven in a small town. This food was absolutely tasty and prices lower than McDonald's. Shawn is the best! I noticed they had loaded baked potatoes and asked if he could turn my waffles fries into something similar! Well Shawn absolutely created a loaded waffle fries that should be sold on the menu! read more

Always a winner! The food is always outstanding. I usually get the shrimp basket and an order of their onion rings. Everything is great. Very friendly staff! read more

We visited Inside Scoop for lunch while staying in Overton. This is an adorable sandwich and ice cream shop with a variety of lunch options including hot dogs, nachos, burgers, cold/hot sandwiches and salads. I had the Caesar Chicken Salad which was not too bad. Many of the sandwiches looked delicious so I wish I would have gone that route! I would visit this place a million times over just for the Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae. This creation is SO good and SO huge! You may want to share it! I was pleasantly surprised by the good food we had while in the valley and Inside Scoop really a neat place to visit. read more

I was staying in Overton, NV and had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant several times. The sandwiches and burgers were good but the fries were great! I enjoyed the Western Reuben the first time I ordered it. A great sandwich! I ordered the same sandwich two weeks later and it didn't taste like I remembered. I enjoyed the small town atmosphere and the local color. I great place to stop on your way to the Valley of the Sun state park. read more

Always a great experience and the staff is always friendly. Love this little place and will forever be loyal to it.

My granddaughters loved it. And they got to have ice cream for dessert. Very good burger for the husband, burger without bun for me, popcorn shrimp and quesadillas for the girls. Classic diner food Dunwell. read more

This is quite a cafe and ice cream parlor. Although we only stopped for ice cream, and enjoyed their 32 flavor options (really wonderful waffle cones!), The Inside Scoop has one of the most extensive menu of a small cafe I've ever seen. They offer everything from burgers, sandwiches, every side imaginable and a full menu of salads. There is a McDonalds across the street, but this homey cafe is so much nicer in every regard. Fair prices, too. read more

This hole in the wall restaurant is a true gem in my small town. Staff is always friendly and food is always good. With Cablp running off their long term customers with their owners poor attitude this business will thrive. Love their ice cream deserts. read more
