What a great little place! Clean, friendly and helpful staff. We called ahead a few days to tell them that the Mustang and Classic Ford Club would like to stop there. So since we got there a little before 11am, the staff looked out at 16 people waiting for them to open. They did great! Moved some tables around for us and made sure we had enough room We all ordered food, and they did a fantastic job getting it all prepared and out to the table quickly and smoothly. And what great food it is! I have not had a Club Sandwich that good in years. And I live in Las Vegas. Every other member was pleased with their food as well. One member went silent until he cleaned the Ruben off of his plate - a rare instance. Then we started on the Ice Cream. Wow. Generous servings of high quality ice cream. Totally dug this spot. Went for nice ride on my motorcycle and stopped to grab some lunch. I had the Ruben and was awesome! Great taste and not to big that I was uncomfortably stuffed. The curly fries were perfect. Nice and crispy with a good flavor. I enjoyed the small town dinner feel and look of the place. The people were nice and very helpful. If your out on a ride or passing threw with the family I would definitely stop in to eat. They also had ice cream but that doesn't travel well on two so next time I guess. read more

Expect to be waiting for your food for at least an hour.... it is a small town maybe they are understaffed in the back, but I do know there's always people looking for jobs, it can't be that hard to hire a couple more people. The food is good though. The staff are nice, but I've always had a problem with seeing people handle food without gloves on. Hair nets should be required for everyone involved with making the food... especially if you have long greasy hair !!!! The ice cream is great, very good ice cream. read more

One of the handful of restaurants located in Overton. We stopped by for a quick lunch and the place seemed to be popular for locals. I chose the special which was a turkey croissant BLT with avocado. The sandwich hit the spot, fresh cold cuts piled high on a Flakey croissant. I will try a hot sandwich on the next visit. Also tried the split pea soup which tasted homemade and not out of a can. If your ever in Overton and need a place to eat this place will definitely cure your hunger pains. read more

Love the burgers here since they are flame cooked. The staff is amazing and very nice. The atmosphere is old school ice cream shop style. The ice cream shop part has so many different options for sundaes and banana splits. Definitely stop in here during your adventures in our small town. What a great little spot. We were camping in the valley of fire and our friends told us to check out their ice cream. We made the trip and it was worth it! The one way I estimate how good the ice cream is, is by ordering my favorite flavor... pistachio! There was generous amount of pistachios and the flavor was delicious! We stayed in town for the Rise Festival. It's in a small town and not a lot of places to eat. I checked yelp and found Scoops. What a great find, I had the chicken club sandwich and Wow it's delicious and packed with meat. The restaurant is clean and has a good feel to it. It was fun to see the locals eating here too. We visited Inside Scoop for lunch while staying in Overton. This is an adorable sandwich and ice cream shop with a variety of lunch options including hot dogs, nachos, burgers, cold/hot sandwiches and salads. I had the Caesar Chicken Salad which was not too bad. Many of the sandwiches looked delicious so I wish I would have gone that route! I would visit this place a million times over just for the Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae. This creation is SO good and SO huge! You may want to share it! I enjoyed the Western Reuben the first time I ordered it. A great sandwich! I ordered the same sandwich two weeks later and it didn't taste like I remembered. This is quite a cafe and ice cream parlor. Although we only stopped for ice cream, and enjoyed their 32 flavor options (really wonderful waffle cones!), The Inside Scoop has one of the most extensive menu of a small cafe I've ever seen. They offer everything from burgers, sandwiches, every side imaginable and a full menu of salads. There is a McDonalds across the street, but this homey cafe is so much nicer in every regard. I would love to give it 5 stars, but I can't because of the breakfast. The breakfast menu is good and the food is a good big portion, but where it failed is on the flavor! It is really bland and even adding salt and pepper is an improvement. Big thumbs down on breakfast. It deserves 4 stars all for the lunch and ice cream menus! If you want a truly awesome sandwich I really suggest this place. They are huge (stacked) and the meat is really good as well. The BLT is also awesome because they are not shy with the bacon, thank GOD!!! The prices are not too bad, but the price they charge for extra ranch is wrong especially because you get so little. The ice cream there is really good, it's not cold stone by any means, but for a small town ice cream shop it's delicious.
