All the stars for staff and service. They were patient with me and my girls after a long day of traveling. We were indecisive and very hungry. I ordered food to go for lunch the next day and they packed it to go with care, knowing we wood be eating outdoors. The ice cream was a great treat. Typical diner food. read more

BEST burgers this side of Pahrump! not kidding they are good, shakes are unbelievable made right in front of you, good selection of Blue Bunny Ice cream flavors too, YUM! the good stuff.... you wont be dissapointed they have great breakfasts as well.. a nice 45 minute drive around the lake or 14 minute motorcycle ride is fun too, stop at Rogers springs? maybe even back thru valley of fire??? real nice day trip... Expect to be waiting for your food for at least an hour.... it is a small town maybe they are understaffed in the back, but I do know there's always people looking for jobs, it can't be that hard to hire a couple more people. The food is good though. The staff are nice, but I've always had a problem with seeing people handle food without gloves on. Hair nets should be required for everyone involved with making the food... especially if you have long greasy hair !!!! The ice cream is great, very good ice cream. read more

One of the handful of restaurants located in Overton. We stopped by for a quick lunch and the place seemed to be popular for locals. I chose the special which was a turkey croissant BLT with avocado. The sandwich hit the spot, fresh cold cuts piled high on a Flakey croissant. I will try a hot sandwich on the next visit. Also tried the split pea soup which tasted homemade and not out of a can. If your ever in Overton and need a place to eat this place will definitely cure your hunger pains. read more

Love the burgers here since they are flame cooked. The staff is amazing and very nice. The atmosphere is old school ice cream shop style. The ice cream shop part has so many different options for sundaes and banana splits. Definitely stop in here during your adventures in our small town. The BLT's are bomb also as they use a lot of bacon. Yummy. read more

Super tasty!! It takes a while to get your food, so if you're starving be ready to wait a bit. I had a burger and it was one of the best I've had, though! Their ice cream is really good too, and definitely hit the spot after a day working out in the field. It's a fun little place, I'll definitely be back when I come visit the area again! read more

On each of our vacations we always search out ice cream stores. This was surprisingly in the top 20%. Maybe even 10%. Great tasting ice cream. Super creamy. Service was wonderful. Scoops were BIG. Only gripe would be that they should have more flavor choices. read more

What a great little spot. We were camping in the valley of fire and our friends told us to check out their ice cream. We made the trip and it was worth it! The one way I estimate how good the ice cream is, is by ordering my favorite flavor... pistachio! There was generous amount of pistachios and the flavor was delicious! We will have to return when we camp here. read more

We stayed in town for the Rise Festival. It's in a small town and not a lot of places to eat. I checked yelp and found Scoops. What a great find, I had the chicken club sandwich and Wow it's delicious and packed with meat. The restaurant is clean and has a good feel to it. It was fun to see the locals eating here too. Lots of parking and you can also get ice cream.. Blue bunny ice cream, we bought the food to go. The service was fantastic, if your close by check them out. read more

Found a little piece of Heaven in a small town. This food was absolutely tasty and prices lower than McDonald's. Shawn is the best! I noticed they had loaded baked potatoes and asked if he could turn my waffles fries into something similar! We visited Inside Scoop for lunch while staying in Overton. This is an adorable sandwich and ice cream shop with a variety of lunch options including hot dogs, nachos, burgers, cold/hot sandwiches and salads. I had the Caesar Chicken Salad which was not too bad. Many of the sandwiches looked delicious so I wish I would have gone that route! I would visit this place a million times over just for the Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae. This creation is SO good and SO huge! You may want to share it! I was staying in Overton, NV and had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant several times. The sandwiches and burgers were good but the fries were great! I enjoyed the Western Reuben the first time I ordered it. A great sandwich! I ordered the same sandwich two weeks later and it didn't taste like I remembered. I enjoyed the small town atmosphere and the local color. I great place to stop on your way to the Valley of the Sun state park. read more

This is quite a cafe and ice cream parlor. Although we only stopped for ice cream, and enjoyed their 32 flavor options (really wonderful waffle cones!), The Inside Scoop has one of the most extensive menu of a small cafe I've ever seen. They offer everything from burgers, sandwiches, every side imaginable and a full menu of salads. There is a McDonalds across the street, but this homey cafe is so much nicer in every regard. Fair prices, too. read more

I ordered the Fried Zucchini Sticks $8.99 and potato skins. The waitress let me know there was a side order of the skins for $3.99, which was just perfect! I was quite content with my zucchini and potatoes. Those potato skins hit the spot! The waitress was great. She was very nice and just on top of things. She seemed very personable. She explained that only the Pasta and Entrees were available after 3 pm but the House Favorites, Salads, and Specialty Burgers were available then as it wasn't very clear on the menu. (At least that's what I remember her saying...) We sat with another family and they had no issues doing separate checks. Their menu had a good variety to choose from. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place.
