After a long day of hiking in the Lake Mead area, and after running out of daylight without being able to go through the valley of fire, my family stopped here for dinner on the way back to the freeway due to the decent reviews. I don't know if I was really hungry or what, but this place turned out to have excellent wings and pizza. Fast refills on drinks. Very nice service from the staff and a cozy environment. I really liked the pizza. It's pretty standard, but the crust wasn't too thick or thin. The extra cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza was delicious. They have some Pepsi and some Stubborn sodas. The curly fries were ok, but the pizza was the star of the show. I arrived at about 4:40 and had to knock on the Employees Only door to be seated, but after that it was all good. The only reason to be mad at this establishment is for them making delicious pizza that makes you come back every week! Their staff is always friendly and gets customer orders correct every time. I've never had any issues, but I'm sure they would be quick to resolve any issue I had. If you're visiting Logandale or just moved here, just know Pirates Landing is a solid choice. Love the pizza and appetizers. Yummy. Only thing I wish they had was teriyaki for the wings. The deserts are great. The staff is always so nice and friendly. The hours are short but great for getting a quick dinner. They have daily specials so ask about them. I think they are closed on Sundays. Would definitely recommend getting a pizza from them. I live here in logandale and obviously it's slim pickins on food choices. So I've been coming here for years. The pizza is good and i like all the other food options besides pizza. The service though. Terrible. They never had servers before and maybe it should've stayed that way. The server is either a high school kid or it's someone that has job hopped around logandale/Overton. I am in the restaurant industry and I've tolerated a lot from this place when it comes to service. But tonight I left upset and still left a tip because I'm a server myself. If you close at 8 then close your dining room well before then. Literally was told to pay right at 8. Was told, "we're not trying to rush you out" but my plates were all bussed before I finished my pizza, mid bite. I was not asked if I was finished with the slice I was working on, my plate was just taken so I was forced to be finished. This older lady with glasses who was our server (who never gave her name) should really consider a different line of work that doesn't involve human interaction because the way she treated us was unacceptable. We asked for a sauce that they have always carried and she looked at us like we were crazy and word for word said in the rudest tone "I have no idea what you are talking about" Owner should consider a last seating time. And do takeout only on your last hour. But even then, they stop answering the phone way before closing time which I have come across as well. Really bad for business. read more

We arrived right when they opened at 4. The place was very clean, the staff very friendly and timely. The food was pretty good. The atmosphere is great with fun decor, games you can take to your table, and even a gaming room with some arcade games. We didn't go to the game room, but my 1.5 year old was hungry and a puzzle helped occupy his time waiting. Nice little surprise in Overton on our way home from camping. read more

It was decorated with some really cool pirate themed decorations! We ordered the Thursday night special which was wings and a 2 topping pizza for $23! We were a little leary on how it was going to be...but it was delicious!!! We are going to be back for sure. The crust was thin but tasty, great sauce...not overpowering. The toppings were very generous. We had sausage, pepperoni and added onions. The wings we had were boneless. The sauce was delicious and the chicken was tender and juicy. We are visiting the area and decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. The atmosphere is very causal and they sport a school spirit decor supporting the local high school. The staff was friendly and attentive. My husband and I split a medium meat lovers pizza and I was blown away by how good it was! It was loaded with meat and was so flavorful! The medium was more than enough for the two of us. My mother-in-law loved the wings and onion rings. My brother-in-law had a double cheese burger with bacon and was pretty disappointed in it. It was lacking in flavor and came with so little bacon. For the pizza alone I would highly recommend stopping in here. It was definitely unexpected! read more
