Most homes around Trancas and Broad beach area have weekly gardeners, so very few residents even get their hands dirty planting anything. It is such a delight to be able to go around the nursery and find little treasures, pots, succulents or God forbid, a California native plant. Bring your young kids as they'd love the Monarch butterflies roaming around and the resident cat lounging in the sun. The nursery is open Tuesday and Friday only, but if they would get more collective support they could do a lot more. These are honest hard working people and it brings me great joy to benefit them in any way.

Sometime we rotate the pot. When this arrangement arrived last April, only half of the blossoms were open, the rest were still buds. Then one by one the rest opened up. We will be continuing with relandscaping of the side yard where the tree came down, some lawn in the front, and a hard scape of some kind on the side of the house. It's a real thrill to go to the nursery with Montgomery! His knowledge of nursery plants is phenomenal!! As for his crew, yes they are Hispanic, but they are one of the hardest working crews that I have ever seen, very friendly, and several speak fluent english!!
