I invited them out to view and make suggestions. Since they worked a lot during the Malibu Fires, the specific knowledge that they could teach me was invaluable. I was so impressed with their calm confident manner, defensible knowledge and suggestions that I hired them the next day. I am so happy to have met them as not only were they on time, they were awesome to work with on the ground. As I expected from my earlier meeting the job was done within the time frame they estimated, with a smile. Not pushy, did not ask for a review, which was abnormal. I wanted to review them as I was totally comfortable with the team. I absolutely will use them for other stuff, like my annual tree trimming. Malibu Coast cleaned up nicely after their work. Even ask me if there was anything else I needed before packing up. What an under the radar company that you should bring into your radar range. Give them all the work that they can do for you and you will feel the way that I do. What unassuming personalities with powerful work.

If you are looking for anything plant-related, Green Thumb is your place to go. The Canoga Park location is quite large and offers large plants and trees, outdoor plants, indoor plants, patio supplies, bbqs, gardening supplies, and they have garden experts that can advise you if you have questions. You can find anything gardening-related and more! On our most recent visit, we purchased a dwarf madarin orange tree that we are going to grow in a container. We had great help from the staff with picking out a tree, then picking out a container. I wish that I remembered the name of all of the folks that helped up, as each one was great, especially on a really busy day. The one that I do remember is Noah, who was super helpful and friendly. If you sign up on the Green Thumb website for their weekly email newsletters, you will get discount offers. For the 80th anniversary weekend, we were able to get 50% off of one item, which was a great deal.

I was impressed by the size of this nursery, the variety of trees, sizes available for purchase, health of the plants and soil they come in, and of course, Maribel, who has been so helpful and patient while I design my landscape. Maribel helped us choose trees that were within our budget, showed us how to trim them, and helped us with design ideas for our space. When I told her I needed fragrant trees, with small (non invasive root systems), that only grew a certain size, she quickly texted me a variety of choices, then drove us around her nursery showing us all the trees. She's incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with, and is available always to answer our questions. She makes every member of my family feel special (especially my niece/nephew that have visited the nursery with me). When I show her pictures of what I'm looking to accomplish she can quickly tell me the names and characteristics of the plants I like. She's just amazing!!! I highly recommend Maribel and I can't wait to come back and visit when I'm redoing the landscape in a different property.
