In our room when we arrived :)

This place is so dreamy! My husband and I stayed here for two nights (far too few) on our Central Coast mini-honeymoon last month, and it was the perfect place to decompress, thanks to the idyllic hilltop setting, in-room Jacuzzi tub in our suite, luxury linens and comfortable bed, and all of the small details from the photography, carefully chosen books, quality toiletries, and more. Tamara, the inn-keeper, was the perfect hostess. She makes incredible and healthy breakfasts, with some ingredients from the gardens, and even though she is new to the area is very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to do. She even went out of her way to ship us my husband's jacket and some shirts which he left in the armoire, which we really appreciated. When booking I debated between which room to stay in because they all looked beautiful, but I chose the Maria Sabina Suite and loved it. The aforementioned Jacuzzi tub looked out onto a small wrought-iron balcony overlooking a gorgeous Oak tree. The bed was hard to pull myself away from in the morning, and the hammock on the balcony was so relaxing that I fell asleep mid-afternoon, something I rarely do. I'm never planning to get married again, but I am certainly intending to return to Inn Paradiso for special occasions, or when in need of a getaway.

Spacious, interesting, luxurious, romantic, extraordinary....only touch the surface of this unusual place. Photos and descriptions do not do it justice! You have to experience it for yourself. The inn-keepers were gracious and accommodating, making delicious locally sourced, organic dishes. The bath products were heavenly. I loved opening the windows and doors to feel like I was outside, living in the tops of the oak trees. Close to town, yet private and secretive. Tanner, one of the innkeepers, will even be your taxi into town or for wine tasting. His advice on what wineries to try was spot-on! I would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful terrace to relax. Wine on site for sale.

Phenomenal experience this weekend at the Inn Paradiso. The grounds are beautiful, full of fun and interesting art, the breakfasts are so special, with exciting organic ingredients and a very talented chef/property manager. We felt very welcome and relaxed. The Inn is just a bit out of town, Uber was very easy to use to get around town each day. The pool is unheated and refreshing. Definitely recommend.

My first review ever and it's for inn paradiso. Magical, relaxing, serene, beautiful, organic, clean and well maintained..I promise you will not regret staying here. Pictures do not do justice to this place! Colleen and Tanner were so sweet and accommodating. We went there for my boyfriends birthday and we both decided that this will be our getaway spot from now on..can't wait to go back! By the way Colleen made us a yummy lemon rosemary cheesecake that was beyond amazing Don't think twice..book it and go!

Overall a lovely stay... Started with some concerns about no hot water(new heater being installed) but was resolved before bedtime. Rooms are fresh and well designed. Breakfast was always creative and healthy.

We stayed 3 nights in the Maria Sabina room and had a relaxing, wonderful stay. This unique inn off the beaten path is a true gem. The innkeeper, Tamara, makes you feel right at home and her fabulous breakfasts each morning are pampering and delicious. This will definitely be our go-to place whenever we are back in this area.

A nice classy touch! So special to help celebrate our honeymoon!!

Absolutely wonderful place on earth... We spent one night of our honeymoon here and it was definitely memorable... Tamara, her fiancé Andy were so welcoming and attentive... A chance to speak to the owner Steven was a rare treat since he gave us the history of this great place... It was a pleasure meeting all of you! The rooms, grounds, food, ahhh, i could on an on...and we had the whole place to ourselves! We will definitely be returning! Thank you all for providing a fantastic experience and beautiful memories for my wife and I...

The most amazing hotel experience I have ever had. I felt right at home, the service and the hotel were impeccable. I will most definitely return, if you are looking for a place to stay, you must stay here you will not regret it. I was having a hard time booking at a specific winery but Tova and the owner gladly made it happen. The food is organic and the coffee is the best I have ever had. I will highly recommend it to everyone.

Recently, we came back for a mini reunion and made Eberle a place where our party of 8 could relax, unwind, and reminisce of yesteryears while enjoying the beautiful views from the covered vineyard deck, and needless to say we absolutely had a blast! The tasting experience was still complimentary thanks to the blessed heart of Mr. Gary Eberle (thank you kind Sir), who also happened to grill up some delicious meats and smoked sausage that day (Santa Maria style), which was the perfect pairing to his wines. Special mention to Stephanie, who did an phenomenal job guiding us through the last cave tour of the day...and Mr. Eberle, she truly did your story justice (and then some!). WOW! We left there with plenty of purchases as well...too good to pass up! Oh and ladies, give their Rosé and Muscat Canelli a try...so refreshing! CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

Huge thanks to that goes to our host, Tamara. She was an absolute delight! Our glasses were never empty and she was just such a funny, quirky host. About halfway through our flight, she took us downstairs for the cave tour. Wow, what a stunner! Such a unique touch to this winery. The other incredible thing is that Eberle doesn't charge for tastings so you might as well pick up a bottle or two :)

My boyfriend and I came to Calipaso Winery for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway,…read moreand it has honestly been such a disappointing experience. When we checked in and got to our room, the property felt completely empty. We were the only guests we could see, which made the whole place feel eerie and uncomfortable. We walked around the entire property and saw no one. There were only three cars in the parking lot, including ours and the front desk employee's car, yet we were told they were "fully booked" when we asked about moving to a larger room. The room itself was not great. The bed is extremely hard and squeaks with every movement. On top of that, the AC does not work. We told the front desk before leaving for dinner about the AC and were told someone would come fix it. When we returned, the room was even hotter than before & it felt like walking into a sauna. The windows don't open, so the only way to get air in is by opening the doors, which obviously lets bugs in. The "free wine tasting" was also frustrating. At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.

It's stylish without being too casual, funky, or extravagant bougie. And the pricing is significantly less expensive than other local hotels (at least during my visit). It was super close to Highway 101. The property is under the Choice Hotels brand with 132 rooms stretching across 3 floors. They do not offer daily room cleaning, it's offered on the 3rd day. But this non daily room cleaning is the new standard for most all hotels due to the staffing shortages. However if you request a room cleaning, they will oblige. I had no complaints about the room. Luved the styling and decor. I didn't hear our neighbors, not sure if we had any or if it was that sound proof. The AC was working perfectly. Lots of charging ports. Ample lighting. Desk and side chair with the two beds. Mini fridge. TV. Safe box. Coffee maker with pods, tea bags, cups, sugar and creamer. Armoire. Dresser. Shower water temps and pressure was great. Update: Unfortunately, my experience changed after my original stay…read more When I later tried to extend my stay, I was told they could not honor it. At the time, I assumed they may have been overbooked and did not think much of it. However, when I returned at a later date and tried to use my rewards points for another stay, I was refused. The manager was not there, but I was told I owed money and had supposedly left the room a mess. This was the first I had heard of any issue. I was never notified, billed, or given any explanation. I tried to follow up so I could better understand what happened and pay any legitimate outstanding balance, but I received no clear answers, no examples, and no documentation. To make matters worse, my rewards points were still kept, which was especially frustrating because I had spent a significant amount staying there for multiple days while transitioning before moving out of state. Those points would have been helpful during my cross-country trip at other Choice Hotels. I understand that a business can refuse service, and I am not disputing that. My issue is the way it was handled. I was not notified ahead of time, I was not given documentation, and I was not given a clear explanation or opportunity to resolve whatever issue they claimed existed. I arrived expecting to use my rewards points for a stay, only to be turned away around 9 p.m. with nowhere lined up to go. That put me in a stressful and embarrassing position, especially since this could have been communicated before I arrived. To this day, I still do not recall leaving the room in poor condition. I was careful during my stay, and although I paid to have my dog there, I did not even bring him into the room most days. My card was on file, and I made a point to check in with the front desk to confirm everything was squared away. I also had some issues with the service during my stay. Housekeeping was inconsistent and rarely came by. When they did, items were often only partially restocked -- for example, I might receive one coffee pod but no creamers or sugar, or toilet paper would be replaced but not tissues. It was not a huge issue at the time, but looking back, it adds to the overall concern about communication and service standards. Being turned away without prior notice, proof, or clear communication was embarrassing and upsetting. I originally loved this hotel because the location was perfect for me -- close to family, convenient, and comfortable -- but the way this situation was handled completely changed my impression. I have never had anything like this happen at a hotel before, and it was an awful experience.
