A Wonderful Birthday Stay at Churon Winery My daughter surprised me with a birthday getaway to Churon Winery on Wednesday March 5th of this week, and it was truly a phenomenal experience. We stayed for two nights and received an incredible midweek rate. Honestly, the price we paid for two nights was less than what many wineries charge for just one night, so it was a fantastic deal. We drove in from Orange County, and the drive was smooth and easy. When you enter Temecula Wine Country, there is a beautiful sign welcoming you to wine country, and the vineyards surrounding the area are just stunning. Even though it's not grape season yet, the scenery was still peaceful and beautiful. When we arrived at the winery, we were warmly greeted by Robert at the front desk, who truly made our stay special. Robert was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. We had booked a birthday package, so I received a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday, and each day of our stay we also received a complimentary bottle. I chose a red wine for my birthday and two whites for our stay. They even gave us two complimentary wine glasses each night of our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. The wine tasting area downstairs had a charming European atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a cozy café or bakery in Europe. The environment was relaxed, elegant, and not crowded since we visited on a Wednesday. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming and during out tasting they were very knowledgeable, explaining each wine and helping us enjoy the tasting experience. Our room was absolutely beautiful. It featured a large poster bed that was very comfortable, a spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and full shower, and elegant décor throughout. The balcony was large and had a lovely table with chairs where we could sit and enjoy the view. Our room overlooked the vineyard, and the nighttime lighting across the property created a peaceful atmosphere. It was windy while we were there, so not many guests were outside, but it made the setting feel cozy and relaxing. The entire property was clean, well maintained, and the staff including housekeeping were all very kind and welcoming. Each morning we also received a complimentary made-to-order breakfast, which was delicious. * The first morning I had an omelet with wheat toast and orange juice, and my daughter had the same. It was very filling. * The second morning I had the croissant, beacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which was amazing, and my daughter ordered the French toast, beautifully plated and very tasty. The breakfast was complementary and located in a beautifully decorated area with large white barn doors. The foyer even featured a picture of the Eiffel Tower, which added to the charming European theme of the property. But the true highlight of our stay was Robert at the front desk. His kindness, knowledge, and hospitality really made our visit memorable. He gave us great suggestions for places in the area and even recommended meal ideas we could make at home that would pair perfectly with the wines we purchased. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Churon Winery. If you are ever visiting Temecula Wine Country in Southern California, I highly recommend staying here. Five stars all the way.

We stayed here for a few days for a friend's wedding in the area. It was our first time staying on a winery, so we weren't sure what to expect. It was very cosy and had great views, but was a little outdated. It was definitely clean, but the decor hasn't been updated. Also note, if you didn't rent a car you will need to uber/lyft as nothing is necessarily walking distance and there are no sidewalks. Overall a pleasant experience and glad we did it.

I really enjoyed my stay at Inn at Churon. I thought the rooms were quaint, the private balcony was comfortable and the view was amazing. I especially enjoyed the fire place in our room & took advantage of the jacuzzi tub. My only complaint would be the bed and pillows weren't too comfortable. I do agree the inn itself is a bit outdated but it added to the charm. I'm tired of the modern look so I appreciate the character of this inn. Every night, you can get a free glass of wine at their winery. We did end up doing a tasting with Charcuterie - it was great! I really enjoyed the made to order breakfast that was included with our stay - everything was tasty - I had the croissant breakfast sandwich which was good. The hotel staff was all very welcoming and friendly. I definitely plan to stay here again!

My wife planned a quick 2 night stay for us at Churon before I started a new job. On arrival, I wasn't blown away by the look of the inn, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The rooms are a bit dated, but the view from our room was amazing and the room had a 2 person jacuzzi tub and fireplace for great ambiance. The rooms also come with a complimentary breakfast and a glass of wine in the afternoon. We ordered the charcuterie platter with a wine tasting, and the platter was sooo good!

Boyfriend surprised me with a weekend get away and he choose an amazing Inn. We had a balcony with a view of the vineyard and saw hot air balloons taking off each morning! The room also had a cozy fireplace and jacuzzi tub both of which were fantastic. Complimentary breakfast on the patio at their cafe was a great kick off for our morning adventures.

Everything was amazing. From checking in to checking out. Julie checked us in. Let me tell you.... She was so welcoming. It was such a wonderful feeling when she greeted you with a smile and all the friendliness and kindness that came along with her welcoming. I don't understand some of these 1-star reviews. If I could give 10, I would. We knew what type of room we were getting before we came. We read all of the reviews. We were more than impressed when we arrived. Parking is ample. My car was safe. The room was immaculately clean. The hot tub and showers were clean. I loved the smell of the clean bed sheets. This place takes a lot of care of their hotel and makes sure the rooms are to perfection. The workers were very nice. The server where you get breakfast at is beyond attentive and her service is impressively impeccable. They had salsa de tomatillo and my goodness, we fell in love with it. Complimentary Breakfast daily will get us to come back again and again. This was a super plus. It made us want to stay and spend within the hotel. The restroom in the lobby is great. Clean and easy access so you don't have to climb stairs to your room. No elevator so be prepared to walk stairs. Our area was pretty quiet. There was one room next to us. We were able to hear them a bit which made it a bit embarrassing that we felt they may have heard us the night prior lol. The outside was very clean. Many areas to sit and chill and enjoy the beautiful views. During the night we could hear coyotes. We wanted to see if we could see them but no can do. The Mango wine was magnificent. It added a touch of romance to our first night. We will definitely be back.

I loved my stay. The place is beautiful. Everyone there went above and beyond. Ex#1I left my wall charger at home and the young man working the evening shift on the 28th gave me his charger. I made sure to return it! (I believe his name was Trey? Something with a T) Ex#2 During breakfast on Sunday the 29th, Christopher went above and beyond to accommodate a few of my special requests. There's a cafe downstairs, wine flights upstairs, a beautiful view outside with fire pits, stand up comedy at 5 and karaoke afterwords. The gentlemen in charge of getting the crowd going did an excellent job. I will 100% be back here. Thank you for helping make my birthday week special!

Beautiful views, friendly staff, and a complimentary glass of wine per day! Unfortunately, I could only give the Inn at Churon 4 stars because, while it is in a beautiful location, the rooms themselves feel a bit run down. Clean, spacious, but kinda feels like an older woman's house in the decorative style. A lot of wall paper and clashing patterns as well as a TV that was probably updated circa 2010. While there is WiFi, be sure to bring phone chargers with wall plug and do not expect to be able to connect to your Netflix account on the TV.

At first, when driving up to the inn, it looked underwhelming; featuring what looked like an outdated location with vintage floral wallpaper. Walking in, you're warmly greeted by the staff at the front desk. When he handed us our room keys, we went through the formalities of checking in (license, signature, and credit card) and we were given an in-depth run down of the amenities at the inn. It's a lot to process at the moment, especially after the long drive. But the highlights are that each guest gets a complimentary wine from the wine-tasting bar and breakfast between 8am to 10am. Plenty of parking and no need to mark it with a ticket. We were given detailed instructions for how to find our room, given the hallway is quite lengthy. The room itself still had the same design as the exterior lobby but felt more updated. Everything was clean, including areas that aren't commonly touched. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with two separate sinks and a large hot tub (the best feature!). The view outside is beautiful with room overlooking the vineyard and, if you wake up early, you can see the hot air balloons. I think due to the number of rooms, it doesn't leave much flexibility if one wants to extend their stay or check in earlier. Unfortunate, but I look forward to staying in the future!

We have been regulars her for upwards of 15 years. The rooms are stunning: Fireplace, balcony, Jacuzzi tub, huge bed! Snuggly comfortable! Join the Wine Club and get all the membership perks with your stay!!! Btw: When you have breakfast on the terrace (or inside) ask for Paula's homemade green salsa. There is nothing like this anywhere else! Love, love, love!

During the booking process the date on my reservation was accidentally changed. I immediately tried calling the hotel to correct the date, but no one answered. After about 20 minutes I contacted Hilton corporate for help and explained that I still wanted to stay at the property and was only requesting that the reservation be moved forward by one day. I was not asking for a refund--just a simple date change. Corporate told me the property had to approve the request. When they contacted the hotel, the clerk refused to make the change and said there was nothing they could do. I then called the property directly and spoke with an employee named Ron. The customer service during this call was some of the worst I have experienced. I was repeatedly interrupted, placed on hold for about 10 minutes, and spoken to with a very dismissive and confrontational tone. When I tried to explain the situation, Ron responded with "okay, and?" and told me the issue was not his problem and that corporate should have explained it to me. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told the General Manager (Lucero Torres) would not be available until Monday and that there was nothing that could be done. What made this even more frustrating is that at no point did anyone explain whether the hotel was actually fully booked. When I checked availability myself afterward, the Hampton Inn website showed a room available and Hilton's website showed multiple rooms available for that same date at the same location. Despite this, no solution or alternative was offered. I was simply asking to move my reservation by one day and was even willing to transfer to another Hilton property nearby if necessary, but that request was also denied. The level of attitude, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to assist with such a simple request was extremely disappointing. I'm honestly relieved I will not be staying at this location, but the experience definitely left a negative impression.

Overflow parking is outside in the lot shared with the other hotel. I got to my room and it was just okay. You can't go below 68 degrees. Some were even stuck to the floor of the shower itself and I just let it be. Recall that I mentioned Hilton going the green route. They only service your room and bathroom every other day of your stay. So if you're in for a weekend stay, they'll just clean it when you check out essentially. We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.

The owners are very responsive and communicate regularly with you by text/email as soon as you make your reservation. Once you arrive, you will hear from them daily by text. They are also on the property daily and easy to reach. The suite was beautiful, and the full kitchen was well equipped with dishes/glasses, pots/pans, all kinds of utensils--a fine cook's dream! However, I am not a fine cook or dreamer so I did zero cooking. And the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious and way better than anything I could have cooked. Still, I appreciated having a full size fridge, dishes/glasses, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The suite also had two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and a variety of streaming options if you wanted to stay in and watch shows/movies. We did not do too much of that because there are so many great wineries nearby (too little time) and those wineries not only have tasting bars but also restaurants! So we were on the go a lot, and I missed out on sitting on the patio on the property and gazing at the twinkling stars and visiting the cute chickens on the property. The only thing that needs improving is a fix to the sliding closet door (off the track and made it unusable). One day I hope to return to this lovely property and participate in star gazing and chicken meet and greets! P.S. Easy parking, circular driveway if you want to unload the car before parking, and welcoming lobby.

I was a little hesitant to book it because I never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast establishment before. I decided to give it a try after reading great reviews and we really enjoyed our stay. After booking, I received a text which included a list of activities, their favorite wineries, lunch, and dinner suggestions. We ended up booking a couple things based on their suggestions. On the day of our arrival, we received a text letting us know our room was available early. We definitely enjoyed that but we were having lunch and arrived around 3:30pm. The room was beautiful and had a sweet handwritten note on the bed. The hostess (wish I remembered her name) was nice and recommended Altisima for their frozen drinks. We went on a Friday afternoon and it ended up being our favorite winery of the trip. Breakfast was delivered to our door each morning at 9am with a nice setup and it was really good. The breakfast burrito was our favorite. We made coffee afterwards and enjoyed it on the patio overlooking the vineyards. When we returned in the evenings, we turned on the fireplace in the room and just relaxed. It was a relaxing stay. Only one small suggestion would be to add blackout curtains. The sun beamed through the sides and top of the drapes, making it hard to sleep in. Overall, we would definitely return.
