What a pleasant surprise! I hooked this place because we like staying at Inns at a winery. This is boutique winery only has 24 rooms so need to book early. We were given a suite which was very roomy, great mattress, shower, sauna tub, very large patio. No complaints! Comes with a free breakfast but not one of those terrible continental but this is off menu made fresh. I had eggs Benedict which was delicious. We had missed the wine reception the day before so we sauntered into wine shop/tasting to look at bottles. The hotel mgr Robert told us it was closed but he joined us and poured us so w tastings and of course it was delicious abd we left with two bottles When you walk into Inn you will see French baroque furniture so it is a bit big and over the top but that's a matter of taste. That's basically their brand French decor. I would highly recommend. We will go back hopefully with same price service and quality Way to go Robert! Thanks for excellent service read more

A lovely winery and inn in Temecula. I believe each room has a patio or balcony looking out at their vineyard. Our room was nice with an en suite hot tub. The room showed wear and could use a good deep clean of the walls of the bathroom and there were some stains on the towels from makeup. There's complimentary breakfast included with the stay, which is ordering a la carte (one item per guest). The eggs Benedict and croissant breakfast sandwich were better than the omelet. Paola was wonderful and very attentive. We also received complimentary glasses of wine when we checked in. They have a winery tasting room that offer wine club membership. The mango wine was delicious and their best seller, $27 per bottle. We enjoyed our stay for a relaxing short visit to wine country. read more

Excellent service at this winery! We stayed for 4 days and every single day we had fresh bed sheets, towels and toiletries. The hotel also provided free complimentary breakfast everyday we stayed. The breakfast was delicious and they provide several options. The waitress Paola and Christopher were both welcoming and gave us a few recommendations on which places to visit. A Wonderful Birthday Stay at Churon Winery My daughter surprised me with a birthday getaway to Churon Winery on Wednesday March 5th of this week, and it was truly a phenomenal experience. We stayed for two nights and received an incredible midweek rate. Honestly, the price we paid for two nights was less than what many wineries charge for just one night, so it was a fantastic deal. We drove in from Orange County, and the drive was smooth and easy. When you enter Temecula Wine Country, there is a beautiful sign welcoming you to wine country, and the vineyards surrounding the area are just stunning. Even though it's not grape season yet, the scenery was still peaceful and beautiful. When we arrived at the winery, we were warmly greeted by Robert at the front desk, who truly made our stay special. Robert was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly welcoming. We had booked a birthday package, so I received a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday, and each day of our stay we also received a complimentary bottle. I chose a red wine for my birthday and two whites for our stay. They even gave us two complimentary wine glasses each night of our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. The wine tasting area downstairs had a charming European atmosphere. It felt like stepping into a cozy café or bakery in Europe. The environment was relaxed, elegant, and not crowded since we visited on a Wednesday. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming and during out tasting they were very knowledgeable, explaining each wine and helping us enjoy the tasting experience. Our room was absolutely beautiful. It featured a large poster bed that was very comfortable, a spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and full shower, and elegant décor throughout. The balcony was large and had a lovely table with chairs where we could sit and enjoy the view. Our room overlooked the vineyard, and the nighttime lighting across the property created a peaceful atmosphere. It was windy while we were there, so not many guests were outside, but it made the setting feel cozy and relaxing. The entire property was clean, well maintained, and the staff including housekeeping were all very kind and welcoming. Each morning we also received a complimentary made-to-order breakfast, which was delicious. * The first morning I had an omelet with wheat toast and orange juice, and my daughter had the same. It was very filling. * The second morning I had the croissant, beacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which was amazing, and my daughter ordered the French toast, beautifully plated and very tasty. The breakfast was complementary and located in a beautifully decorated area with large white barn doors. The foyer even featured a picture of the Eiffel Tower, which added to the charming European theme of the property. But the true highlight of our stay was Robert at the front desk. His kindness, knowledge, and hospitality really made our visit memorable. He gave us great suggestions for places in the area and even recommended meal ideas we could make at home that would pair perfectly with the wines we purchased. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Churon Winery. If you are ever visiting Temecula Wine Country in Southern California, I highly recommend staying here. Five stars all the way. read more

We stayed here the night of our wedding. We had to check in late since our wedding ended late, but they gave us very clear instructions on how to get our keys and access the room. The room and the inn in general had a very cozy and antique vibe. Everything looked a little dated but seemed clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I had the eggs benedict which was perfectly cooked. The potatoes on the side were a bit dry, but I liked the rosemary on them. I also had the sausage that came with my husband's french toast which was nice and salty. We went down for our complimentary glasses of wine later, and we loved the mango one. We stayed here for a few days for a friend's wedding in the area. It was our first time staying on a winery, so we weren't sure what to expect. It was very cosy and had great views, but was a little outdated. It was definitely clean, but the decor hasn't been updated. Also note, if you didn't rent a car you will need to uber/lyft as nothing is necessarily walking distance and there are no sidewalks. Overall a pleasant experience and glad we did it. read more

I really enjoyed my stay at Inn at Churon. I thought the rooms were quaint, the private balcony was comfortable and the view was amazing. I especially enjoyed the fire place in our room & took advantage of the jacuzzi tub. My only complaint would be the bed and pillows weren't too comfortable. I do agree the inn itself is a bit outdated but it added to the charm. I'm tired of the modern look so I appreciate the character of this inn. Every night, you can get a free glass of wine at their winery. We did end up doing a tasting with Charcuterie - it was great! I really enjoyed the made to order breakfast that was included with our stay - everything was tasty - I had the croissant breakfast sandwich which was good. My wife planned a quick 2 night stay for us at Churon before I started a new job. On arrival, I wasn't blown away by the look of the inn, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The rooms are a bit dated, but the view from our room was amazing and the room had a 2 person jacuzzi tub and fireplace for great ambiance. The rooms also come with a complimentary breakfast and a glass of wine in the afternoon. We ordered the charcuterie platter with a wine tasting, and the platter was sooo good! read more

I stayed here with a group of friends, looking forward to a nice, quiet weekend with a view of the vineyards while we went wine tasting. Management completely failed to mention that there were two major weddings scheduled for the next two evenings we were there. The music was so incredibly loud that our glass patio door was literally vibrating, entirely ruining any chance of a peaceful evening. To make matters worse, the music was terrible. When I brought this to management's attention, the response was shockingly dismissive. I was told, "Well, we are a wedding venue hotel. Sorry if you were inconvenienced. We will try and do better next time." Really?! They didn't even offer a thought of making it right or compensating us for a completely ruined stay. There are far too many fantastic hotels and estates in Temecula that actually understand hospitality and appreciate their guests. This place completely lacks customer service. You have officially lost my business, as well as the business of everyone in my network. read more

We stayed here for my birthday and it was a quiet, small, quaint inn. They have their own winery as well for you to do wine tasting downstairs. Our room had two queen beds and access to the patio outside which led directly to the vineyard area and also where people were listening to live music. Great service. I wish they had fresh coffee however it was cold. It also had a breakfast included option but if you wanted extra stuff or selections, it was an additional charge. Overall, a nice experience. If I could give 10, I would. We knew what type of room we were getting before we came. We read all of the reviews. We were more than impressed when we arrived. Parking is ample. My car was safe. The room was immaculately clean. The hot tub and showers were clean. I loved the smell of the clean bed sheets. This place takes a lot of care of their hotel and makes sure the rooms are to perfection. The workers were very nice. The server where you get breakfast at is beyond attentive and her service is impressively impeccable. They had salsa de tomatillo and my goodness, we fell in love with it. Complimentary Breakfast daily will get us to come back again and again. This was a super plus. It made us want to stay and spend within the hotel. The restroom in the lobby is great. Clean and easy access so you don't have to climb stairs to your room. No elevator so be prepared to walk stairs. Our area was pretty quiet. There was one room next to us. We were able to hear them a bit which made it a bit embarrassing that we felt they may have heard us the night prior lol. The outside was very clean. Many areas to sit and chill and enjoy the beautiful views. During the night we could hear coyotes. We wanted to see if we could see them but no can do. The Mango wine was magnificent. I loved my stay. The place is beautiful. Everyone there went above and beyond. Ex#1I left my wall charger at home and the young man working the evening shift on the 28th gave me his charger. I made sure to return it! (I believe his name was Trey? Something with a T) Ex#2 During breakfast on Sunday the 29th, Christopher went above and beyond to accommodate a few of my special requests. There's a cafe downstairs, wine flights upstairs, a beautiful view outside with fire pits, stand up comedy at 5 and karaoke afterwords. Unfortunately, I could only give the Inn at Churon 4 stars because, while it is in a beautiful location, the rooms themselves feel a bit run down. Clean, spacious, but kinda feels like an older woman's house in the decorative style. A lot of wall paper and clashing patterns as well as a TV that was probably updated circa 2010. While there is WiFi, be sure to bring phone chargers with wall plug and do not expect to be able to connect to your Netflix account on the TV. read more

At first, when driving up to the inn, it looked underwhelming; featuring what looked like an outdated location with vintage floral wallpaper. Walking in, you're warmly greeted by the staff at the front desk. When he handed us our room keys, we went through the formalities of checking in (license, signature, and credit card) and we were given an in-depth run down of the amenities at the inn. It's a lot to process at the moment, especially after the long drive. But the highlights are that each guest gets a complimentary wine from the wine-tasting bar and breakfast between 8am to 10am. Plenty of parking and no need to mark it with a ticket. We were given detailed instructions for how to find our room, given the hallway is quite lengthy. The room itself still had the same design as the exterior lobby but felt more updated. Everything was clean, including areas that aren't commonly touched. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with two separate sinks and a large hot tub (the best feature!). The view outside is beautiful with room overlooking the vineyard and, if you wake up early, you can see the hot air balloons. I think due to the number of rooms, it doesn't leave much flexibility if one wants to extend their stay or check in earlier. Unfortunate, but I look forward to staying in the future! read more

The Inn at Churon Winery is a hidden gem, picturesque views all around. Our room had double doors that opened out to the stunning vineyard. The room had an antique and European feel, a warm fireplace, and a large size bath (jazuzzi) tube. The fireplace was a great addition to the room. However, it smelled like gas when we turned it on and left on for an hour. We had to open the doors to air out the room from the smell. Realized the smell returned each time we turned it on so we just left it off. The bathroom amenities were as large as the bedroom area. The view is memorizing. There is a complementry breakfast from 8-10am where you can order from the menu. No restaurant on-site. There is a tasting room onsite, downstairs which you can purchase wine and small bites from. Our journey to our wedding at Churon started with a beautiful tour of the venue from Courtney, who patiently answered all our questions and provided us with invaluable information about hosting a wedding at their venue. She passed us to Vanessa, who graciously answered even more questions, provided reassurance, and made us feel like we were home with a friend when we met with her for our final venue meeting. The front desk staff were welcoming and patient all of the many times I called for an update on guests who had booked rooms for the wedding. The servers, bar tenders, and staff setting up and taking down the event made our wedding festivities seamless. In addition, the appetizers, dinner, and wine were FABULOUS! On our final morning after locking ourselves out of our hotel room, my husband and I discovered that the Churon team had surprised us with a BEAUTIFUL welcome sign for our wedding in the lobby of the hotel, and they gave it to us to take home! We felt like this venue was not only more affordable than other wineries in the area, but the whole experience from start to finish made us feel like we were staying in a 10-star hotel. Decided to visit this hotel again. Honestly it's still a gem! I got the chance to try one of their bigger suites. I was in the Syrah suite. Honestly the bigger suites are massive! Truly a remarkable room. Only confusing part of the room was the giant one walk-in closet that had no lights and no place to hang anything. So it was basically an giant empty room. Overall service is still very amazing and the room is super beautiful! Bonus is it is surrounded by wineries. Meaning if you don't do a wine tour you can easily get an Uber ride to several wineries nearby. I will definitely stay here again. read more

There are much better options in wine country! This hotel is VERY outdated and needs so much work. Pros: spacious room and bathroom, decent breakfast, location in wine country Cons: there is an old musty smell as soon as you walk in. The decor is so outdated (and not in a charming way), the carpet has lumps all over, the windows are filthy. Our jacuzzi tub did not work (they gave us a free bottle of wine). You do get a free welcome glass of wine, but the wines are not great. This inn is not worth $200+ dollars a night. If you are going to pay this much, stay at South Coast, Carter, Ponte, or an Air BNB. Or save a couple hundred dollars and stay a few miles away at one of the budget hotels (the quality is the same as Inn at Churon anyway). read more

What a pleasant experience!! Two couples stayed here one night to celebrate birthdays. The two main attributes that helped sway my decision to stay here were the only "one night minimum" on the weekend, AND the wonderful customer service attitude from Debbie, the manager throughout the reservation process. Debbie selected her two favorite rooms for us, and we truly enjoyed the location and view looking out over the patio to the vineyards. As we arrived early for a day of wine tasting, and though we couldn't check in, a welcome glass of wine was deferred to have the next morning with breakfast! How accommodating was that??!! Furnishings in the room were top notch, and having a large spacious bathroom was a nice touch. Two comments I made to staff to improve is the air conditioning has only one fan speed, and that needs to be adjusted. Also, the minimum temperature setting is 70 degrees, which is entirely too warm for sleeping. I ended up waking up during the night and set the fan to 'ON" so at least we had movement of air. They advised me that the system will be upgraded later this year. Breakfast was great. Service by Christopher was personal and attentive. A most enjoyable stay, and a return visit is in order. read more

Overall great experience. Celebrated my 1 year anniversary here this past weekend and we loved almost everything about this place. From the wine, to the live music to the room. Super cozy place and great customer service overall. However, I am more than happy to change my ratings should they contact us back. We stayed in room 100 on 2/21/25 and unfortunately got attacked by bed bugs. We only stayed 1 night and we both got affected by this. We have stayed in Temecula a few times and this place was by far our favorite. We had a King Suite room w/a fireplace and tub with jets. Positive - bed was super comfortable! Probably one of the best hotel ones I have slept on. - the AC worked great and was not those units in the wall that don't have even temperatures - we got free breakfast and one glass of champagne or wine a day. It wasn't just a continental it was hot breakfast (croissant sandwich/french toast) and it was delicious! - it was quiet, or at least the weekend we went it was. Someone was upstairs but we could barely hear them - one of the closer winery locations to old town Temecula - all staff were very friendly and accommodating Negative - the balcony did face the fire pit which was nice but we didn't really use it because it was less private. Really not a big deal at all - winery closes early (around 5 - but don't they all?) - the door to/from your room slams loud. Luckily everyone staying there didn't let it slam so no issues there Can't wait to stay there again as it was a wonderful experience! read more

Deciding on what hotel to stay in for our anniversary we check all of the local wineries in Temecula and found Inn at Churon Winery to have the best deal. The one night stay was far less than the others AND it came with two full glasses of wine and a delicious breakfast. We paid the extra $10 to have it delivered to our room, well worth it. The breakfast was gourmet style and filling. I had the eggs Benedict and my wife had the croissant sandwich both taste great. Don't let the potatoes full you. While they serve a small amount, combine with the rest of the meal it will fill you. The coffee leaves much to be desired though. They bring it in a small thermos but was warm at best and not very tasty. My wife had a mimosa for $5 more. I'm not a mimosa person but she seemed to enjoy it. We also purchased a wine flight on Groupon which they honored with no issues. Every staff member was friendly and the grounds were well kept. The wine is really good as well. We were very happy with our room but only wish it was on the second floor. The views from the second floor are amazing. The bully desk person this morning is the rudest and most incompetent front desk person ever. I asked why I received an email for a bill double what it was originally booked for, he came unglued. Claimed I hadn't paid anything since 7/19 (my friend made the reservations. I paid with credit card 7/28.) When I said I don't think you understand, he shouted at me, " No, you don't understand! You haven't paid since 7/19!" At which point an argument ensued. Eventually, my friend cleared it up, but this bully apparently has no interpersonal skills, and he doesn't know how to do his job. I had a very upsetting experience with this place. I first initially called on Monday 2/26, since it was my wife's and I anniversary, I asked if they had anything they can put in the room. I spoke with a Joseph who stated they had a Friday special which we qualified for since we booked our room for a Friday, he said this entailed a charcurterie board and a free bottle of wine. He said this would be in the room when we arrived. I also sent an online inquiry through the website confirming this and Robert the hotel manager stated I was correct, I had the board and wine for my room. When I arrived there was no board or crackers. I went to the front and was met by a lady who tried to help but she said Robert just left and needed his approval to make a board for me because apparently, I do not get the board and wine because I booked through Expedia, even though I called and emailed with having two people confirm I would be getting the board. She then asked for screenshots of our emails which I sent to her, after speaking with Robert for almost 30 minutes on the phone she comes out and says they can make the board for me but she said Robert wanted to talk with me because he never said I would get the board, WHICH BTW HE DID SAY I WOULD per the attached screenshots! I have no idea what he wanted to talk to me about, perhaps a discount on the room, other than that this genius had no business speaking with me. The lady in the front took forever to tell the kitchen to start making my board so I had to go into the kitchen myself and ask them to start making one which they started doing, She then said I would have to get my free bottle of wine from the bar downstairs, I went down there and there was nobody there, not one single person, I asked very loudly if anybody was there waited about 5 min but nothing so I just walked back up.
