We happened to stumble along this amazing historical spot while visiting downtown today. It felt like stepping way back in time yet so warm and friendly. One of the Principles, Chris, happened to be sitting on the porch with a friend and was kind enough to extend a tour of the Hotel. This hotel was closed for 65 years prior to it reopening five years ago after renovating to bring it back to life again to enjoy. We can't wait to return and also visit the convenient little winery next door. This would make for an amazing and affordable wedding or special event venue!

I wish I took more photos but I was just too busy enjoying myself

My mom surprised me by coming out to Temecula for my birthday. She knows how much I love history, so she chose the Temecula Hotel. I have lived in Temecula for 5 years and have looked at that building every time I'm in Old Town, just wondering what's inside - Let me just tell you, it is as cool as you think it is!! We had the best night ever! The minute you walk in the door you are transported back in time, treated like family & completely spoiled. There is a cute wine tasting room downstairs, a full kitchen, a gorgeous patio & a bon fire every night. We felt right at home, (we even went out & had Bloody Mary's with the owners & other guests before check out!) It was by far the coolest B&B experience ever. Get a group of friends together & rent this place out!

The Hotel Temecula is no doubt a gem that we were lucky enough to have found hidden in Temecula. We wanted something different from the boring standard hotel and we found it here. The kindness and special touches that Richard and Chris provide make you feel as if they had been waiting for you to come visit. From the wonderful tour to the Beautiful rooms, fresh towels and linens, sitting around the campfire, gorgeous grounds, including the hens who lay fresh eggs, we had more then the normal romantic get a way! We can't wait to return!

Our room was spacious, spotless, and truly dreamy. One of the highlights was the porch with a fireplace, which offered stunning views for both sunrise and sunset--an unforgettable way to start and end the day. The staff was amazing and extremely attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast-in-bed style service was a wonderful touch and very accommodating, adding to the overall charm and comfort of the experience. With all that said, they truly deserve an additional five stars for the incredible role they played in helping me create a magical wedding proposal. We were especially impressed with the nice bathroom with large shower and separate tub. Check-in was easy; like an Airbnb a simple code for room entry was provided and payment was made online. The property feels secluded and private and is very well maintained. There were only 4 or 5 rooms, I think, at this property. Each room has its own designated parking space. Like an Airbnb, bring your own amenities; other than soap and towels, nothing else was provided in the bathroom. There is a pool and hot tub but I never even saw either as they were on the back side of the complex and we pretty much just wanted to chill in the room. We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.

Paola was wonderful and very attentive. We also received complimentary glasses of wine when we checked in. They have a winery tasting room that offer wine club membership. When I look for places to stay, I look for location and a little luxury (that's why they call it vacation, right!?). Que Syrah is positioned on a hill that is surrounded on all sides by vineyards and wineries. You couldn't be closer unless you stayed at an actual winery; but, most of the wineries offering accommodations in Temecula are over-touristy, under-charming and over-priced. I know, I've stayed there. This multi-suite mansion has stunning views from every balcony and patio. It's just the right size for a small destination wedding and could even be used for just the wedding party with more guests at other area hotels. The beds are Tempur-Pedic foam style and are a dream to sleep on. The entire building, rooms included, are decorated with bold, modern colors and furniture which gives the place a homey feel that you can't get at other run-of-the-mill hotels and resorts that opt for cookie cutter spaces and neutral tone accouterments. There's a large hot tub out back, a huge, open kitchen and dining room (perfect for starting out the day), upstairs and downstairs communal lounge areas and even a bar. There were pastries, fruit, Keurig coffee (with Irish cream liquor!), and juice available for free every morning. There's an option for a bottle of wine in your room for an upcharge that was reasonable (and maybe even cheaper than retail for the bottle we got). Every single part of our experience was flawless and comfortable and allowed my guest and I to focus on nothing else, but each other. The owners, Mike and David, are not only accommodating, but pleasant, friendly and endearing. They even provide a cell phone number for any issues that might pop up. Staying here is basically like staying at your (wealthy) friend's house who is EXTREMELY eager to please and has a great sense of style. We loved every second and know you will, too.

Dear Management Team,…read more I am writing to share my deep disappointment regarding our recent stay at Ponte Vineyard Inn. We chose your property for a restful weekend getaway, expecting the high-quality service and comfort that your brand and pricing suggest. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by significant service failures that seem to be part of a recurring pattern. Upon check-in, we specifically requested housekeeping and fresh towels for 10:00 AM (or after) the following day. We vacated our room at 9:00 AM to allow ample time. However, upon our return at 5:00pm, the room remained untouched. Furthermore, our breakfast experience at Bouquet Restaurant was unacceptable. We sat for 25 minutes without being greeted or served, even as guests who arrived after us were attended to. When I sought out the hostess, I was told our server was "on break." As a former Service Director for a Fortune 500 company who has spent years coaching and mentoring professionals in high-touch, quality service, I find this lack of basic floor management and "service recovery" deeply concerning. After checking out, I reviewed recent feedback on platforms like Yelp and noticed that these specific issues--housekeeping lapses and slow restaurant service--have been raised by guests for months, if not years. The standard response from leadership claims these issues are being "addressed," yet our experience proves otherwise. In any service-oriented profession, words of apology are empty without the actions to back them up. I am sharing this not just as a dissatisfied guest, but as a professional in the service industry who knows that excellence is a CHOICE made daily. I hope this feedback reaches someone who is committed to restoring the standards Ponte Vineyard Inn claims to uphold.

What looks like the front entrance along Jefferson is not. It's actually in the back. I parked at the other hotel's parking lot then walked over to check in. That was relatively smooth. I was given a parking pass to display on my dashboard. It's $12 a night for underground parking with elevator access straight to your hotel room floor. Overflow parking is outside in the lot shared with the other hotel. I got to my room and it was just okay. You can't go below 68 degrees. For the hotel-goers in us that like Arctic temperatures to sleep, that may be a problem. I left it on "Auto" at 68 and somehow it bumped up to a humid 78 degrees inside. And a faint smell of urine towards the A/C unit. Now the part where I was just grossed out. The bathroom. There was mold along the bottom of a section of a wall towards the baseboard. It was so bad that I guess maintenance ripped out the portion and it's just black mold. See the photo in my review. The metal trashcan in the bathroom was disgusting. I know Hilton is going the green route, but add a plastic liner or something. Rust and garbage residue is just not visibly appealing. Again, see the photo in my review. The showerhead? It had dried soap scum. Luckily I brought Lysol wipes with me to wipe that down. Made me wonder about the water. The shower area itself? There were long strands of hair everywhere. Some were even stuck to the floor of the shower itself and I just let it be. Recall that I mentioned Hilton going the green route. They only service your room and bathroom every other day of your stay. So if you're in for a weekend stay, they'll just clean it when you check out essentially. I understand it's expensive to staff, but I'm sure the every other day schedule leaves gaps in cleanliness for future guests as indicated by my review. I do not recommend. Front desk employee that checked me in was the only positive thing. For the room and stay itself, I would book elsewhere.
