We really haven't been able to…read morespend much time together because of our schedules and he wanted to make sure that I had a peaceful, low key adventure. Boy, did he do his research well! This place is amazing. To think, I almost didn't make it due to a family issue. We were greeted by Donna and Scott right away. They were very understanding and even asked how my mom was doing. Talk about great service, Donna and Scott provided more than service. They were genuinely sincere and caring. You have a private house all to yourselves. You are the only guests and once Donna and Scott go inside their home you never see them and pretty much leave you alone, which means the deck and the pool are all yours. The guest house is quaint and cozy with a single bedroom, 1/2 kitchen/ 1/2 bathroom, and a cozy living room filled with shelves of books, movies, games, a TV, and air conditioner. The bathroom cabinet has amenities in case you forgot any at home. Underneath the sink there are more goodies for your use which include an iron, blow dryer, ironing board, hair spray, etc. The views are spectacular and at night the sky is so bright with stars. I fell in love with this place instantly...My only regret was that we only stayed one night. There are so many things to do in the area; Hiking and biking. The continental breakfast was great and satisfying. This bed & breakfast is very peaceful and very serene. The only thing that scared me was the road not so much during the day but at night. My boyfriend took me wine tasting, a carriage ride at South Coast Winery, and then to dinner so we got back after dark and it was a bit intimidating. Other than that we definitely relaxed that day. The cute thing, is they have this journal that guest can add they're comment to. It was interesting to see why other guest chose to come here and some of them are repeat guest. WE, will definitely be back to explore and add to our adventures. Hopefully soon. Oh yea, one minor thing that I didn't mind but made me feel uncomfortable is that the bathroom didn't have a door and since it's attached to the kitchen pretty much my boyfriend could of walked in on me. It's a spacious, quiet, comfortable, luxurious two bedroom single story condo with plenty of outdoor space (gated front yard, side yard and gorgeous back yard). The 100% private spa and pool are the highlight, especially considering so many public pools are still closed for COVID. I think I spent a full 8 hours in the water on Sunday?? Given its location and landscaping, part of the pool is always shaded, which is perfect for us fair-skinned gingers. Ginny manages the place and she is a delight. Very personable and friendly. My only notes: -The AC is a wee bit loud. If you're a super light sleeper, bring ear plugs. -No black out curtains. If you need full darkness to sleep in, bring an eye mask. -Linens are typical. Kind of starchy. If you need super soft sheets, bring them with you. (Can you tell one of us has particular sleep needs? ) Final note: this is not a party palace. This IS the perfect spot for a couple or family to come and unwind in a private, safe space.

There's a cute little walkway in the back that takes you down a slope along the train tracks that's really picturesque. It was nice during the day when we were walking back and forth a lot. The hotel itself is well maintained with a little parking garage and lot. We didn't have a car this time, but it's nice they don't charge you. Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. We checked in a bit early and it was no problem. Very spacious room with lots of light. TV worked fine. Bed was comfy. I liked that they had two types of pillow, one super soft like down almost and a slightly firmer cushioned one depending on your preference. Nice to have a microwave, kitchen sink, fridge, and coffee maker, too. Nice stay and would definitely stay again!

All of the beds are SO comfortable, our guests were super comfy and rooms/property were clean upon arrival. The host was so helpful with our entire wedding weekend and was available in case things went wrong. We had a breaker go out upstairs while all the bridal party was getting ready that was fixed within the hour. The toilets did get backed up a few times over the weekend, some were able to be fixed while others became unusable but overall we had enough for the wedding event. Just a note since the house is older, I guess this happens often there. The property fit our 100 guest wedding perfectly. We also had 40 guest stay on site and everyone fit with plenty of room. The main house is huge and the parlor room and theater are awesome! We did our ceremony in the backyard our reception down on the big deck in the backyard. We brought outside vendors for all our chairs but the host had round tables and an ice machine available for us which was amazing!! (Photos below of round tables). We also had vendors come for catering without any issues. You do need to get event insurance if you book for a wedding but that's standard practice. All in all, we had a great weekend and it was so nice having our guest stay on site with us. The host was super nice and helpful and we'd recommend booking here!

Within two months so much had changed that these other reviews i see don't even come close to the experience i had! this was one of the most beautiful venues i have worked at. The space provides a really familial vibe for the party & it was so much fun. Everything was clean, organized, and things were easy to find. The property manager is on site and responded very quickly. He checked in on the event several times. He was always keeping up with client requests prior to the wedding and always had a smile on his face. I definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a very "homey" feel to your wedding experience.

But you will feel like you're in France or perhaps Spain . Beautiful, calming, magical. So many lovely touches. Hummingbirds! So many, and they are used to be around people. So, they land and you can actually see them rather than a quick glance like usual. So cool. The grounds are beautiful with lots of natural food for them. They sleep in until about 8 am, although there are a few early risers. No children resort, definitely a plus for us! Quiet and Peaceful. The 'rooms' are centered around the pool, and just has a great feel to it. I say rooms in parentheses because they are so luxurious and comfortable, not like a hotel room. Lovely breakfast, with wine and cheese in the afternoon. Lots of special touches, such as cold water poolside. When have you ever found a blow dryer with attachments? Seriously? Attachments? You girls (and maybe some guys) will totally get this. Cookies In your room upon arrival. Very welcoming. I can't speak to of all of the rooms, but ours had a bidet. I know what one is, but never used one. I understand they're supposed to be fire. Blanca is a gem. She works very hard to make sure your visit is perfect. We can't wait to go back.

My husband and I have stayed at Korakia several times over the past few years and every visit somehow feels more magical than the last. The property itself is extraordinary - peaceful, romantic, beautiful and unlike anywhere else. However what makes Korakia truly special is the feeling of being cared for while you are there. We especially want to recognize Alexandra who has been absolutely wonderful. She is warm, thoughtful, incredibly accommodating and consistently goes above and beyond to make our stays special. During our most recent visit, we had a mix-up involving our reservation, and Alexandra immediately stepped in and found a beautiful solution for us. Her kindness and willingness to help turned what could have been a stressful moment into another wonderful part of our stay. We left Korakia feeling grateful, relaxed, and already looking forward to coming back. It has truly become our happy place in Palm Springs. As we were trying to figure out where to park, we got scolded by the apartment residents next to the hotel, which was not a great start to the stay. You can park in the few designated hotel spots in the front or you can park on the nearby streets and walk over. We were greeted with a cold welcome beverage which was nice! Our room was pretty standard, and they had a nice note and chocolate strawberries waiting for us to celebrate the special occasion which was very sweet. The room also had games and a record player; however, I would recommend not using your own records on it as it was not in good shape. There was a mini fridge in our room as well. The free breakfast in the morning was probably the best part. It was delicious! Specifically the toast....I still think about it even now. The girls are so nice as well. We did not get coffee delivered to our door any day during our stay, which was a little disappointing. I do like the option to rent bikes. The pool was pretty standard, but it did have a lot of leaves in it. Overall it was a nice stay! Appreciate the hotel staff for being so kind.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, despite the air-conditioning not working properly. Unfortunately, management's handling of our reservation was disappointing. We were offered a complimentary bungalow upgrade to secure our booking, even though we had not requested one. Upon arrival, we were told the upgrade was no longer available because of an air-conditioning issue and that only our original reservation would be honored. When we explained that we would not have booked without the bungalow, the manager responded combatively and dismissed our concern because the upgrade had been complimentary. The property itself is nice and a great location, but management should take greater responsibility for commitments made to guests and handle such situations with more professionalism.

Really loved the fact they have "skinny drinks" on the menu. Our room was pretty big and right next to one of the pools which was super convenient. We also opted to pay for parking and park right next to our room. It was about 110 degrees so we spent all of our days in the pool. Pool side food and drinks were on point. Their salads are amazing! One of my only complaints is there was a perm sewage smell coming from the shower and bathroom, it wasn't constant but we would get the whiff time to time. There seemed to maybe be plumbing issues. We noticed when the people staying above us were obviously using their bathroom, there was a really scary loud boom in our pipes behind the toilet. Other than that we had a good time. The gym is small but nice, definitely did its job. I wish we had checked out their sister property and restaurant. We will have to make another trip soon.
