Hair on the bath tub wall.
    Chris M.

The hotel receptionist was very nice and hospitable. We arrived late last check in to the hotel and the hotel did accommodate us for being late which is why I'm leaving a two star. The problem is that the bathtub/shower wasn't cleaned properly. Used soap and hair from another guest on the wall. Not a pleasant sight at all. Hoping they don't this all the time

Came back to my room at the end of the day and this is how my door was

Unfortunately I had already booked a second stay here before I had my first stay here so I was stuck with it but it actually was a nightmare. I left my room at about 7:40am on a Tuesday, - [ ] 5:54pm 06/25/2024: got back to my room and noticed the door was open, the lock was turned so that the door wouldn't shut and the door could just be pushed open. I took photos of the door with the lock out, and I called the front desk from the room phone and told them. They initially told me that I probably didn't close the door right when I left. I told them no because it was evident that housekeeping has been in here. She said she would check the cameras and would give me a call back. - [ ] About 5-10 minutes later I got a knock at the door. It was a women wearing jeans asking me if I was the one who had called about housekeeping earlier that day. I said no and she walked away. I called the front desk again and told them what happened. This time it was Kim who answered and told me that that lady works there with housekeeping. I told her they said they were going to check the cameras and she said they were doing it right now and would let me know when they were done. - [ ] 12:45am (a little past midnight) 06/26/2024: I never received a call. I called the front desk again and nobody picked up. - [ ] 12:50am (5 minutes later) 06/26/2024: I called the front desk from my cell phone and all of a sudden a man answered (James?) saying that they don't have access to the cameras because it's locked in the general managers office since 5:30pm. I asked why nobody told me that because they said they were going to call me back and they said they were checking it. He said he didn't know. I asked who's going to be following up with it so that I can have a name to ask for. He said Lucero(?) who won't be in until 9am tomorrow. - [ ] 12:55pm (a little past noon) 06/26/2024: Called front desk from room phone and asked Crystal if there was any update on checking the cameras. She said, the manager is not in so we can't check the cameras. I told her I was told last night that the manager would be in at 9am. She said no she's not in yet. I said, ok do you know when she'll be in? She said, no I don't know... usually when she comes in later it'll be about 1-2pm when she "strolls on in." I said ok, thank you and she said ok bye. - [ ] 8:40pm 06/26/2024: I called the front desk from the room phone and talked to Curin (idk how to spell it). He told me the manager was in today but only for a few hours. Curin seemed to be the only one who actually seemed to understand why I'm concerned. He told me the manager is very busy because she has to handle a wedding coming up. Curin actually took my name and my dates of stay (which nobody else did). I told him I've already talked to Kim, James, Crystal, and another woman who I didn't get her name and everyone has told me something different. He told me he would leave a note on the managers desk and provided me with the managers email address. Mind you I was staying here alone and still had 2 more nights after the incident of my stay. It was very unsettling knowing my door had been open for who knows how long and that anyone could've been in there. It's been a week and I never heard anything back from them about it. Yes this place is the cheapest option in the area, but don't stay here. I felt unsafe and the walls are also extremely thin so you'll hear everything from the next room(see video).

There are great snacks available including charcuterie boards and smores kits. There is also a great selection of wine in the rooms from local wineries. We enjoyed our snacks and beverages on our beautiful private outdoor patio each morning and evening overlooking the vineyards. The fire table and lights were nice touches. We spent some time at the pool too. The bed was very comfortable and room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. No detail was overlooked in designing / decorating the spaces. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything Alicia!

The breakfast-in-bed style service was a wonderful touch and very accommodating, adding to the overall charm and comfort of the experience. With all that said, they truly deserve an additional five stars for the incredible role they played in helping me create a magical wedding proposal. Their attention to detail, care, and genuine effort turned an already beautiful stay into a once-in-a-lifetime moment. My then girlfriend--now my fiancé--was completely blown away. What looks like the front entrance along Jefferson is not. It's actually in the back. I parked at the other hotel's parking lot then walked over to check in. That was relatively smooth. I was given a parking pass to display on my dashboard. It's $12 a night for underground parking with elevator access straight to your hotel room floor. Overflow parking is outside in the lot shared with the other hotel. I got to my room and it was just okay. You can't go below 68 degrees. For the hotel-goers in us that like Arctic temperatures to sleep, that may be a problem. I left it on "Auto" at 68 and somehow it bumped up to a humid 78 degrees inside. And a faint smell of urine towards the A/C unit. Now the part where I was just grossed out. The bathroom. There was mold along the bottom of a section of a wall towards the baseboard. It was so bad that I guess maintenance ripped out the portion and it's just black mold. See the photo in my review. The metal trashcan in the bathroom was disgusting. I know Hilton is going the green route, but add a plastic liner or something. Rust and garbage residue is just not visibly appealing. Again, see the photo in my review. The showerhead? It had dried soap scum. Luckily I brought Lysol wipes with me to wipe that down. Made me wonder about the water. The shower area itself? There were long strands of hair everywhere. Some were even stuck to the floor of the shower itself and I just let it be. Recall that I mentioned Hilton going the green route. They only service your room and bathroom every other day of your stay. So if you're in for a weekend stay, they'll just clean it when you check out essentially. I understand it's expensive to staff, but I'm sure the every other day schedule leaves gaps in cleanliness for future guests as indicated by my review. I do not recommend. Front desk employee that checked me in was the only positive thing. For the room and stay itself, I would book elsewhere.

I paid over $900 expecting something clean, comfortable, and updated, but the room felt more like an old motel than an Embassy Suites. The room was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The shower handle was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't lock properly, the carpet looked old and worn out, the door to the room looks more like a prison cell, there was a loose screw on the floor, the air vents were rusty, and the TV kept cutting in and out. There were also stains on the blankets/covers and scratches all over the doors and furniture. I took plenty of pictures because I honestly couldn't believe the condition of the room for what we paid. I will say that some of the staff members were friendly, and I don't want to take that away from them. Breakfast was decent, the only saving grace was the omelet station. I appreciated the reception hour (5:30pm-7pm you get 2 complimentary drinks. They were one of the only positive parts of this stay. The amenities offered were all completely outdated - the gym, the pool, even the little convenience store had very limited options. Overall, the hotel felt very creepy and uninviting. The hallways to the rooms were dark and uncomfortable, smells moldy, the walls are paper thin, and I honestly would not recommend this hotel for women or solo travelers. Thank God I was traveling with family members because I would not have felt comfortable staying here alone. Definitely not worth the price, and unfortunately not somewhere I would stay again.

We were especially impressed with the nice bathroom with large shower and separate tub. Check-in was easy; like an Airbnb a simple code for room entry was provided and payment was made online. The property feels secluded and private and is very well maintained. There were only 4 or 5 rooms, I think, at this property. Each room has its own designated parking space. Like an Airbnb, bring your own amenities; other than soap and towels, nothing else was provided in the bathroom. There is a pool and hot tub but I never even saw either as they were on the back side of the complex and we pretty much just wanted to chill in the room. We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.

Check in was quick and easy. The lobby can get a little loud but not constantly. Our room was on the third floor, unfortunately facing the main road which was a little noisy, but not so bad we couldn't sleep. The hotel itself was very quiet in the evening, maybe because it was weeknights rather than the weekend. The room was clean and well-supplied with towels and toiletries. Plenty of storage. Nice sofa/seating area. I appreciate the hardscape flooring. Not as warm as carpeting, but feels much cleaner. The second day of our stay we came back after wine tasting and our room had been made up and cleaned, even though we said we didn't need it when we checked in, surprising and appreciated. However, I am not a fine cook or dreamer so I did zero cooking. And the breakfast delivered to our room each morning was delicious and way better than anything I could have cooked. Still, I appreciated having a full size fridge, dishes/glasses, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The suite also had two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and a variety of streaming options if you wanted to stay in and watch shows/movies. We did not do too much of that because there are so many great wineries nearby (too little time) and those wineries not only have tasting bars but also restaurants!
