Very enjoyable stay. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Coffee, juices, egg dishes, breakfast meats, potatoes, oatmeal and make-your-own waffles. The room was clean and comfortable. Through the Hilton app, I was supposed to be able to open my door with my smartphone. It would not work and the staff at the desk only advised me to get out of the app and go back in, which did not solve the issue. It would've been nice if they had offered to come up to the room and help me work that out. read more

Absolute incompetence! We were scheduled for a three o'clock check in. When we arrived after three to check in, they asked us to sit down in the lobby while the got our room ready. Close to half an hour later they notified us that our room was ready. After we got situated into our room, I looked down at the floor next to the bed frame and noticed a roll of medical bandage wrap. Housecleaning did not clean our room. The mirrored closet door would not close and so bumping into for two nights was unpleasant. Luckily none of us were injured by that obstacle which obstruction of our egress which I may report to the local fire department. Inside the door you can see a broken bracket that hangs. In the bathroom, the toilet seat slides side to side because they don't maintain anything. The bath tub has a stupid design to it. There is no back rest and it hurts like hell to lean your back and shoulders on the top ridge. So don't dare take a bath. The jacuzzi outside was roped off with caution tape because they will not repair it. On our last night there, we left our room and unhung the door hanger card so they could clean our room. Housecleaning had their cart right next to our door as they were cleaning our neighbors room with the door closed. Had they glanced a few feet to their right, they would noticed our card removed and should have cleaned our room. As we were about to leave the hotel, I stopped by the front desk and requested that our room get cleaned. When we returned at 10:00 pm we were expecting to see a nice and clean room. Sadly, it was exactly the way we left it. I called the front desk after letting it ring for several minutes without an answer. So I went back to the front desk, and requested clean sets of towels, trash bags, all the toiletries, and lugged them back up the elevator and back to our room. Then I had to empty the trash bags, replace the bags, place all the towels in their place. It felt like I wasted an hour of my time doing the housecleaners job for them. I was pissed. It turns out there was only one employee working thee entire building during the night shift. Take my advice, pay a little more, and get a lot more for your money. You will not save any money here. What think you're saving will actually cost you twice as much. read more

This is in a great location in old town temecula. I used points to reserve a room here for one night for wine tasting. We only slept in our room but it seemed clean and was spacious and comfortable. The only not so comfortable part of the experience were the pillows. The breakfast seemed a little over cooked so we ended up throwing our plates away because it didn't taste good. I've always been Hilton loyal and this Hampton is much below the par that the other Hamptons and affiliates have set in the last few years. I was driving quite the distance to get here on Sunday evening for a work project near by. At 7:30pm I received a phone call from a woman who sounded very annoyed asking if I was going to be there soon or she would have to say I was a "no-show" I told her I would be there within the hour and that I'm driving currently. When I got to the hotel there's a sign taped at the front desk saying "our associates are great, if you think you can do better than fill out an application" so they're definitely not open to suggestions. But I asked the concierge about the phone call I got regardless and what would have happened if I didn't answer because I was on a plane. Her response was the night auditor needs to know what guests to charge and mark as a "no show" by that time. I'm 6 months pregnant and just drove through the night to get there, I shouldn't have to feel relieved I answered the phone while driving or I would not have a room. That's ridiculous. On top of that, I got to my room and the towels seemed half stocked/messy- my room smelled of cigarettes and the bathroom sink literally had cigarette ashes flicked into it. Overall, do not recommend unless you're in a tough pinch for a room and don't mind cigarettes and a check in before 7:30pm. read more

First, this was our anniversary weekend getaway. On our way, the day I was supposed to check in (7/31), I called the hotel to inform, I was going to be late checking in. The front desk informs me that the whirlpool room I had made my reservation was not available due to "construction."I asked her why the website allowed me to make the reservation if there was planned construction and she couldn't answer. She changed our room to a standard . When requested 1st floor, she couldn't accommodate and gave us on the 2nd floor. We arrive to the hotel. The hall carpet was unfinished and dirty looking. We settled in our room and to our surprise, there was no hot water, and no shampoo or conditioner in three dispenser. I informed the front desk in the morning. When we returned from the vineyards again, no hot water, shampoo or conditioner. I informed again the front desk the next morning expecting my room to be cleaned and it wasn't. The front desk said service is every other day (due Friday) and it never happened nor the hot water improved or shampoo/conditioner filled. Our last day we decided to go to the pool. First, our room key didn't work and once in three pool area, the pool was dirty. I was disappointed with the so many issues and also surprised this is a Hilton hotel with substandard delivery of services. We will never come back. read more

Many things in disrepair. The water fountains on the first floor didn't work. The jacuzzi doesn't work and from the reviews apparently hasn't worked for some time. Breakfast was very disappointing with weak coffee and watery eggs. The bathtub faucet was coming away from the wall. The water for the shower never got past lukewarm at best. The water temperature adjustment apparently was loose so you had to guess at what position was off. If you guessed wrong you got a blast of cold water. With 2 exceptions the staff was unfriendly. From the positive reviews I have seen this place must have been better at one time. As of now it is NOT worth the money. It appeared to be clean so that is one good thing. read more

Saturday March 6th, 2021. My wife and I wanted to have quick get away to Temecula. While we had many choices of hotels in the area, the Hampton Inn truly stood out in customer service and overall cleanliness (Room 135). Kudo's go to Christine at check-in who helped with us with the parking (Big anxiety reducer), breakfast and just over all friendly and very accommodating staff. Christine's help was very genuine and she definitely sets the pace when it comes to customer satisfaction. She even went out of her way to get give us hints and ideas about the best restaurants to go to (Goat & Vine). 15 minute walk to all of the restaurants in Old Town Temecula. Stayed here for NYE since it was close to old Town temecula. Such a clean hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel itself was very clean. Hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel. No nasty carpets or smells. Pet friendly. Bonus was they give you free bottled water upon check in as well as continental breakfast the next morning from 6 to 10am. Now I've had the basic continental breakfast before at other hotels and this by far was so much better. So many choices and stations. Juice and coffee station, egg, sausage, potato station, make your own waffle station, bread and bagel station and cereal stations. So many choices. Nice little lobby to sit and enjoy your breakfast. My 100th Yelp Review!!!!! I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton. I needed a StayCation and wanted to get away from San Diego. The main reason I picked this Hotel is because of the jacuzzi tub.the price was reasonable alsoso.So I went to LUSH and bought a few bath bombs and bubbles, stopped at the liquor store and picked up a bottle and a black and mild...LoL.....Any-who...the room was very nice, big and clean. The Jacuzzi tub is next to the bed so you don't have far to go after the relaxing bath. The whirlpool tub in my opinion is not big enough for two people...well maybe if you're small..I'm 5'10 and it was just the right size for just me. I ended up taking 3 baths within my 1 night stay. LADIES: make sure you go to LUSH and pick up some bath bombs...OMG..they are awesome! I just melted in the King size bed....very, very comfortable. I did a bed bug check and saw no signs of any begs! Your stay includes a free breakfast. I was impressed, it wasn't just a "continental breakfast" it includes eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal , drinks and a waffle station. Overall I really enjoyed my stay there. I am deducted one star for the front desk girl who talked way too fast for me to even understand what she was staying, and also deducted for the noise. Stayed at this Hampton Inn & Suites with my husband last weekend in Temecula. We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor (there are only 3 floors) with a king size bed, microwave and mini fridge (which I believe all the rooms have a microwave and mini fridge). The room was clean and adequately stocked with everything you would expect a hotel to provide (toiletries, toilet papers, clean towels, etc). The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. There were plenty of outlets in case someone needed to charge their electronic device. The free WiFi worked just fine (and surprisingly was fast enough to facetime during the late evening... but not during the day since other people were probably using the WiFi, which would cause it to slow down a bit). Checking in was pretty easy and fast. The employee who helped us was also friendly as well. One thing I thought was really nice was that with all Hampton Inns, in case you forget to bring some toiletries, they provide complementary ones at the front desk. These toiletries include disposable razors (they are the cheapest of the cheapest, so really not the best quality but definitely doable in a pinch if you don't want to look scruffy for your work meeting, etc) with shaving cream, travel size tooth paste, tooth brush, etc. Also there is free breakfast from 6-10 am every day (located on the 1st floor) that includes eggs (scrambled or hard boiled), bread items, fruit, hot and cold cereal and so forth. I enjoyed my breakfast each morning I was here and was able to find a seat at a table each time I came. I saw that breakfast items were refilled when low. And the employees helping in this area was very friendly. Hot water, tea and coffee was always available throughout the day and also free USA Today newspapers were also available at the front desk. Overall, this hotel was pleasant for our weekend stay that provided everything that I wanted in a hotel (minus it being dog friendly... unfortunately Hampton Inns are not) which included free WiFi, free parking and free breakfast. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Temecula (that is if I do not travel with my dogs). read more

Place is nice, but the customer experience killed it for me. Dealing with (supervisor) Rianna Putric had to be one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever dealt with. Tone deaf, condescending and unprofessional. Staff made a mistake, he apologized, but she still wasn't willing to correct it. Said thank you and literally had to walk away from that situation. We were a little worried about coming over here for our impromptu weekend getaway, but were very pleasantly surprised. We seriously planned our trip around 2 or 3 days before the weekend, and basically all hotels were already full/occupied. Lots of weddings going on, so that's not a surprise. We wanted to be near Old Town Temecula, but also at least somewhat close to the wineries (we were around 10 miles away) and Pechange (also around 10 miles away). Pretty easy to find the hotel. Basically with the other hotels in one area. Plenty of parking. Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Yes, they were remodeling, but that didn't seem to affect the employees' moods. Had our two keys, went to our rooms, and everything was in tip-top shape. It strongly smelled of antiseptic, but we dealt with it. Air conditioning worked, beds were clean and very soft and comfy (if you like hard, stiff beds, this is not a good place for you...). Like most hotels, walls were a bit weak. Could definitely hear the next door neighbors...and their creaking beds. TV seemed to have full cable. Got to watch Boondock Saints fully uncensored...and the bf decided to laugh at some of the softcore porn that was on the late-night channels. Eh... Got up the next morning and was able to have our free breakfast of omelets, toast, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, waffles, fruit. Yup, definitely ate my fill. Not bad food, honestly. They also had, in the morning, slipped our receipt underneath our door. Everything was already paid for the previous day, so all we had to do was be out by 11am, turn in our keys, and that was it. Not too difficult. Overall, probably will come back over here again when we visit Temecula. Very happy experience, and the bed was clean and comfortable! read more

Yup, 4pm with a 11am check out. The rude, pej7dixed, brown skin herself, Maricel was rude and short. She said check back in 30 minutes, like miraculously a room would be ready and not ready now. Then, the privileged white manager came out as if she lost something, but really because she saw my black face and heard me have the audacity to question the sad, sad brown skin person at the counter. Hampton Inn is a nice hotel for the price. The staff was friendly. Check in was a little slow but no issues. They have a nice big parking lot with plenty of space. The pool looked decent, didn't go in just walked passed. The bed was pretty comfortable. There are lots of TV channels. I recommend the room with the jacuzzi tub, it's so nice to relax in the tub at the end of the night. Breakfast was decent. They had bagels, eggs, sausage etc. Skip the sausage, it was really yucky. Like other reviews, the staff is amazing! Every single person is friendly and professional. The rooms are spacious with a pleasant decor. My only complaint with the room is the wifi was down for a whole day during my three day stay. The staff did try very hard to get a technician to fix the issue. I recognize it is not the hotel's fault for a defunct internet. It was just an inconvenience, that's all. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. The food itself is decent for a hotel breakfast. In addition to the usual fruit, cereal, and pastries; there was waffles, cheese omelettes, hard boiled eggs, and turkey sausage links. I also worked out during my stay. The gym has three treadmills, elliptical, stationary bike, and a few weights. The gym's room temperature was too warm for me. The thermostat is set at 70 degrees and does not cool down. I had to crack open a window to get additional air flow. As a whole, I enjoyed my stay and will consider coming back if I am ever in Temecula again. read more

We booked a king suite TEN MONTHS AGO and called in to ask about our reservation. The front desk attendant told us the booking was already cancelled, which confused us. We had not received any cancellation email. They could not tell us when it was cancelled, by whom it was cancelled, and why it was cancelled. When we asked for a cancellation email, they said they would send but did not. We called again to ask for a cancellation email, which we finally received and showed that the booking was cancelled SIX MONTHS AGO by the hotel without our knowledge. Funny enough, the room was made available once again, albeit at a 65% markup from our original booking. We're only left to surmise that they wanted to take our booking/money when no one was traveling, but then wanted to book over our slot since people are traveling again and inflation is running mad. Pass until the construction is done. We stayed 3 nights and it was 3 nights too long. The entire hotel is under major construction and everything looks quite horrible. The construction workers (some anyway) live onsite so they work from 6am to 8:30pm and are in the hallways, parking area, breakfast room, laundry room ($4 to wash and $4 to dry btw!!!), etc. They are all over and really interfere with the guests b/c they are offloading stuff, making noise and so on. The staff is blah -- probably one of the least friendly staff members we've encountered at a Hampton. The breakfast was cold every day and never monitored ; the woman in charge of the breakfast was hiding the back most mornings and never came out, so stuff was cold and not refilled. The place seems to get conventions/meetings regularly so there are people wandering all over all times of day/night. The walls are so thin you might as well be sleeping with the people next door, you can hear everything, literally. The parking is safe and plentiful. The location is amazing - close to Old Town, 15 minutes from the wineries, on the footpath of fast food and 1 minute drive to Target. There is a Hilton on the adjacent property so maybe try that instead. The room was average/ok and 90% clean so that was fine. Maybe when it's renovated in a few years it'll be better but for now, just don't book. read more

We used this hotel for our Wedding hotel block, and absolutely loved it. They were great working with us leading up to the wedding date. Adding rooms when we booked up our block, and regular communication with us about who had booked rooms through our block. During our actual stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. We even were having a "post wedding tailgate" in the parking lot with the left over food and a keg, and they invited us in to use their conference room. We've stayed here a few times for business. On the last stay, we went down to breakfast, picked up some below average chow (worse than an elementary school cafeteria would provide) and sat down. The TV was tuned to Fox News and we started to watch. Towards the end of the meal an employee walks in and changes the channel to the NBC Today Show without asking. I asked them to please change it back, because we weren't done watching the prior program. The employee came over nervously and said that they had been directed to change the channel, because it was too, too, and made gestures with their hands to one side. I asked again, and was refused, saying, no, no it's too... (wink, wink), gesturing again. I asked, "it's too non-communist?" Then, in so many words, I was told that the management doesn't let Fox News to be aired in the lobby. SO IN OTHER WORDS, THE MANAGEMENT CENSURES WHAT GUESTS MAY WATCH! I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites which is located just a few miles away from all the winery's in Temecula. It is right off the freeway exit and about a 10-15 minute drive from the winery's. Old Town Temecula is about a 5 minute or less drive. You could honestly walk there if you are up for it. Uber rides are very affordable, so drink responsibly. The whole facility is non-smoking. The room was very cozy, and good size. Very clean. Staff was SUPER friendly. I was in Temecula for a friend's wedding and a good size of the wedding party and attendees stayed here. After the wedding we brought the party back to hotel. We were a little loud a few times and the staff accommodated us by letting us use the conference room to continue our celebration. I would definitely stay here again. This place is very affordable and the location works out for if you want to visit the winery's or just have a good time in Old Town Temecula. read more

This was my first time staying in a hotel since the Pandemic. We were in Temecula for a friend's wedding. Booking was easy. I called and used a wedding code that my friend had for guests. Check in was easy. The rooms were clean. I appreciated the fridge and microwave they had. The continental breakfast was pretty good for that type of breakfast. They had sausage, eggs, cereal, baked goods, oatmeal, etc. It was a spread. You can even make your own waffle. They had an assortment of drinks. They even had hot drinks available throughout our stay. One time we came home in the evening and got hot tea. It was nice. There's a little area to buy snacks and things that you might have left at home. Checkout was easy. Parking was free. We would stay here again. read more

We stayed here feb 12-13 to attend a family wedding . Parking is free .Check in was fast and easy , staff was super friendly . Our room was pretty clean for the most part but some things could be upgraded furniture wise . We stayed away from the upholstery chair look pretty dark on the chair arms . We like that it had a mini fridge and microwave . The breakfast was was absolutely great they had so many options oatmeal bar , waffle bar , eggs, sausage, potatoes , bagels , muffins , cereal , fruit the list goes on ! Actually really unhappy how I was treated as a Gold member, as well as a Am Ex Surpass member. To check in and not be upgraded, after even asking is an embarrassment to myself & your hotel. As well, I understand everyone is adjusting to Covid but the "breakfast" included in our stay was so sad. Nothing fresh or healthy, instead boxes of cereal & pop tarts? Come on HILTON, as a long time member & guest, I really expected more. If a gold/surpass card holder checks in & there are rooms available, you should upgrade them. I also put a note on reservation that it was husbands birthday & nothing special was done. This won't be my hotel of choice in Temecula again. read more
