Absolutely loved this hotel! I always stay at Hilton properties and especially like Home2's because they are pet friendly and they have a full size refrigerator and freezer! This one is conveniently located near Old Town. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Charge Point EV charging station right at the lobby entrance which was a huge plus! Absolute garbage experience. I got stuck on the bottom floor after going to the gym for over 30 minutes. The elevators are absolutely hacked, and the maids locked it up using it for the entire afternoon. Co.e to find out you cant access their stairs, either. So if there's a fire and the elevators aren't working (which is normal), you will burn to death. I guess their management is okay with that. Don't stay here. ​​ read more

Management needs an attitude adjustment, room was everything from broken door handles, dirty pull out couch bed, dirty carpets, loose plugs that would not hold a charger. We dealt with it until the ants came marching in. When we asked to change rooms we were told they would move us but didn't know when....until we called corporate and then we got a quick call saying they have a room now. This weekend was supposed to be a relaxing mother/ daughter weekend. It was a disappointing exerperience no doubt. But the one person(Kelsy) who could have handled it with decent(not even great) exerperience made it beyond acceptable. read more

Upon entry the hotel smelled horrible. The hallways were dirty, unvacuumed and not taken care of. Upon entry to the room the room smelled like mildew from the room ac cooler (no central ac or heat). The windows don't open so there isn't fresh air. There is a sofa that had stains all over it, and the desk area had some gross sticky stuff I managed to get off with my own cleaning supplies. The elevator buttons looked dirty and there was no hand soap in the entire room. They left a used 1/3 filled bottle of dish soap and that's gross, but also no hand soap. The fridge as relatively clean but could've been cleaned better. The bed sheets were clean. Even for the couch. They have Tesla wall chargers which is really nice. I don't understand why hotels still mess with carpet - it is dirty - just out in laminate or vinyl planks... Cleaner look and no worries about carpet stains. The location is nice because it's close to the wineries but ... It's not giving amazing vibes. The people above us were loud and walking around all night. Overall - not impressed - especially for being newish Edit day 2 We have two small children the hot water was not working, we were moved to another room, two floors up+in the middle of our stay. We had a good experience. The front desk staff were really nice and it was easy to check in and checking out was really simple. They have a pretty decent free breakfast in the morning. The room we had was nice. I was a little confused on why they had some of the items in the room, especially since they don't have stoves to cook on. The hallways and elevator were always so hot. For being part of the Hilton franchise, this property was really under welming in both its accomidations and service. The WIFI was not working during our entire stay, no complimentary water bottles for Hilton Honor members, or water fill stations especially with it being 90 degrees in Temecula. Lastly, I understand that that breakfast area opens at 7am, but having called the front desk the day before and letting them know that we have a group of soccer kids, could the staff help by opening the breakfast area 15mins earlier so that they could eat and have time to digest before they go and play. Not saying they had to but instead of exceeding expecatations they chose to just say no. So word of warning, having been a Hilton Honors Gold member, this Hilton Franchise location is terrible. read more

If you want to be up like me at 4am because of the pool area hosting employees breaks and get togethers, this is the place for you. Plus the floor are like drums you take a step it's like boom boom boom. Uncomfortable feeling when you walk in as well as when you walk away from your car left in the parking lot. This is a very nice, clean property with large rooms. My room had a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The bathroom had plenty of counter space (which is truly annoying when there is little space to put stuff). The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was surprisingly stocked with cups, dishes, silverware, and other cooking necessities. There was a microwave, full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the breakfast did not match the quality of the hotel. (And I can't choose 4.5 stars.) As a business traveler who spends about 150 nights a year in hotels, I would recommend staying at this property. Conveniently located near the interstate, yet away from the hustle and bustle. The room laid out efficiently with plenty of space and power/usb ports. As with most Home2Home and Homewood Suites you get kitchen utensils. We chose this hotel to utilize our Hilton points and because it's so dog friendly! We paid $125 in non-refundable pet stay fees in total as parking and breakfast are free! Service - everyone here is super friendly and all of the amenities are well kept Amenities - we didn't use the pool outside but next to it is a lounge area with a fire pit that's so cute and comfortable to hang out at! They have a gym with 2 treadmills, an elliptical, a bike, and weight machines as well as yoga mats that we did use. It's never crowded and is we'll maintained. There are at least 2 dog stations outside for poop bags and trash cans and most of the dog relief areas are bark covered. There is no restaurant in this hotel. Room - we had a king suite which had a bathroom with single sink, lots of counter space and a walk in shower. There was a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, dishwasher, lots of dishes and cleaning supplies. The desk in the room is on wheels so you can use it for work or to eat dinner in the room. Parking - ample free parking for guests around the outside of the hotel. Walkability - we knew when booking that this is super close to old town and some other locations but not easily walkable. Great modern place the rooms are huge, very clean, free breakfast, they have a disposable type shampoo and body wash to reduce the number of plastic bottles and that is a big plus. The flat screen in the room is huge. The small kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware, a microwave, sink, fridge and a dishwasher. The only negative was the staff they did not allow me to check in 2 hours early and the guy at the reception had no idea what a diamond status was, he stated that I have to wait like the other guests. The amenities offered in the room is great The refrigerator is bigger than a mini fridge, there's a microwave, you can request for a stove to cook, and a dishwasher to wash all the dishes. Also parking is included which is a surprise and an excellent perk., especially since it's sister hotel charges you a parking fee. Unfortunately the place lacks cleanliness and it made me wonder if they even cleaned our place at all. I didn't inspect it like a fine tooth comb like I normally would, so I let a lot pass. I saw sunflower seed shell on the ground and just assumed it was either mine or my friend. At the end of our overnight stay we saw that the trash underneath the sink wasn't emptied either and just made me wonder how clean it all really was. The breakfast options is what you expect, nothing gourmet but a nice option to have. Will we stay here again? Maybe but we'd be more vocal about the cleanliness of the space. read more

I've stayed at this hotel annually for the last three years. In my June-July 2023 trip, I've been surprised at how quickly this once-solid hotel has slipped in its standards. I had two different rooms. In the first, the sofa was torn, the handle to the bathroom was detached, the toilet failed to fill and flush properly, and the shower stall had accumulated dirt in the corners. In the second, the sofa was badly stained, and a GFCI outlet was blinking red, indicating that it needed replacement. In both rooms, the pillows were thin and lumpy. Housekeeping is inattentive, failing to remove dirty towels, replace consumable room supplies (eg toilet paper, Kleenex, and coffee) and clean the sink on a few occasions. Overall, a disappointment and a departure from the the usual Hilton standards. I will seek a different hotel for my next visit to Temecula. read more

Stayed here for a 5 days for a work trip. The suites are pretty spacious with plenty of room to set up a workstation if needed. Plenty of parking outdoors, free breakfast (the omelettes are amazing), small pool and gym which I didn't use but looked relatively clean. read more

For the room, I would give 5 stars and would have given overall 5 stars if not for the incompetent staff. I had requested over a week before our stay for a slightly later check out (12 PM instead of 11 AM) since we had a very early morning tour and wanted some extra time to rest. That morning when I asked about the later checkout, they said they had no record of it and they could maybe give us 5 minutes extra (basically talking down to me like a child). When I said we confirmed it a week ago, they just dismissed me and said they have no record of it. We basically had to quickly pack up, rush and leave. We had a post 10pm checkin for our room and stayed here for 3 nights. The front desk staff is very friendly and polite and courteous I had a very pleasant experience with them. But yo, cleaning. I've attached a photo of our over dusty vent that was in the bathroom. I have a dust allergy. I don't expect much but what I do explicit is cleanliness. It looks like the last time this place was vacuumed well must have been years ago. There was no Lysol sticker on our room and on top of that, the bathroom floor was filthy! How do I know this? Because just from the steam in the room from the shower made the bath mat towel pick up so much dirt it was unreal. The last night we stayed I had to sleep in a mask from the dust. I don't know if y'all are missing cleaning supplies or what but please fix this. We only stayed at this location to be close to family and because I'm a Hilton silver member. So I disregard people who post 'one' star reviews thinking they may have unrealistic expectations. Please be assured that the 3 star is due to clean sheets/working AC/ comfortable Bed. We were initially welcomed with a girl who Without ever looking at a computer informed us that unless we were diamond level, we were not getting an early check-in. Ok....there are a lot of ways to communicate that without making a patron with gold status feel like crap. Another hotel guest let us know we could get a room faster by checking in online. A good fact to know after we had been sitting in the lobby for an hour waiting for a room and something that the staff did not alert us to. When I couldn't get the online portal to work, the front desk staff suggested I find the stranger to get help from him, admitted she had no idea how anything worked online and shrugged me off. I realistically do not expect a Ritz Carlton experience but I do not accept being told I must stay in a lobby and extra hour just in case a diamond member walks in. In the few hours we have been here, there are more issues then I can communicate. No internet.....and when asked, they gave us a phone number to their internet provider and said it was our problem to fix. The lobby is closed in the evening and you aren't allowed to sit even if you have purchased food from Hilton.....(the lobby is CLOSED????) but they won't tell you that until after you purchase the food......the. tell you you must eat your food in your room. And the free breakfast was pre-packaged food and prepackaged breakfast sandwiches with make-your-own waffles as the only hot option. I could continue with more issues but you get the point......if this post is less then 6 months old, DONT STAY HERE!!!! I booked myself a room at Home2 Suites last month when I was in Temecula for the weekend. Check-in was really easy, if you download the Hilton app you can unlock your door from your phone which is cool. They also allow you to check in early with no charge based on availability. I checked in about 4 hours early ha ha. Home2 Suites is pretty nice and modern. My suite had a kitchenette which has a full-sized fridge, sink, microwave and an assortment of plates, cups, utensils etc. They do not however have a stove or oven in the kitchen. I liked that their TV had a bunch of free streaming services like Hulu Live, Netflix and a few others. I pretty much binge watched "Sex and the City" during my stay LOL. It was so relaxing just being alone. I was very comfortable in my room, the bed was nice and spacious and I loved the nice cold AC! Especially since Temecula reached over 100 degrees that weekend! The hotel usually offers continental breakfast, but due to COVID they just provide a breakfast bag which had a Jimmy Dean's sausage sandwich, blueberry muffin, yogurt, water and some fruit. The only thing I didn't like was that their walls and doors were quite thin, so I woke up twice in the middle of the night when other hotel guests would close their doors from the hallway and I could easily hear conversations outside. I plan to go next weekend but I'm incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication and rude customer service. I called to see about getting a little cake or even a little card for my husband wishing him a happy birthday as a surprise to him, the first person I spoke with was really sweet and informed me that they should be able do that, but that he would transfer me to the right department to ensure it's done. Once I was transferred, I spoke with a lady who had the rudest/coldest tone and told me they do not do that, and not sure where I got that information from but it was wrong. It's very difficult to come across a REAL pet friendly hotel that is clean. I was very impressed with how clean the entire hotel was! Esp the love our 1 year old (145 lb) cane corso dog got from all the workers! People tend to forget that he's still a puppy because of his size but all the workers we came across were so friendly and pet him! He was loving all the attention! It's hard to find a pet friendly hotel that is clean and doesn't discriminate against bigger dogs! But we finally found one and we loved it! read more

You guys. This hotel is IT for Temecula. My fiancé and I have stayed here probably over 6 times and choose it happily every time. We even have it booked again in May. We have stayed at the other properties nearby but all of them feel more rundown, small, and and just dirty compared to this property. This Hotel is clean, HUGE rooms with a kitchen including large fridge (for all the leftovers), freezer, microwave, stovetop, everything. Bathrooms are also very spacious, and the living room area is almost two big for two people. Staff are always helpful enough and it is also dog friendly which is amazing. Home2 Suites is just what I wanted-- a clean, modern room in Temecula. I was worried when I realized that hotels in Temecula would more than likely be on the boutique side. I am not a boutique hotel kind of a person. So, I was happy to find that this hotel just opened. I needed two rooms for a family event one weekend. Online booking was easy and when I called to check in early they were able to accommodate my request promptly. The rooms were brand new-- fresh paint and a comfy mattress and couch. Complimentary breakfast is served in the lobby. The breakfast is nothing special but its something if you are wanting something to eat without leaving the premises. It is a self service counter of waffles, a fridge with yogurt, and a case of microwaveable omelettes and breakfast sandwiches. Coffee and tea are available at all hours. Not too shabby. Overall, for the price and the location this is a hit for people like me who do not necessarily like bed and breakfasts or boutique hotels. I guess this is primarily a business hotel but this is my jam right here. I will be back if I ever need a place to stay in Temecula. read more

Positives: It's clean and modern. It has a great location, right off the freeway and a short walk from downtown, and it has lots of parking. The check-in staff were pleasant. The gym is small but conveniently located right off the lobby, rather than hidden away and hard to find. My room was up-to-date and well-maintained. Free wi-fi was easy to sign into and worked well. The air conditioner was easy to use and also worked well. I really, really liked having YouTube on the TV -- not just for video, but because it gave me access to every kind of music. Negatives: The price is too high, especially when management cuts every possible corner to keep costs down. I got a special block-booking rate (for a wedding): $269 for Saturday and $156 for Sunday, with three different kinds of tax on top of that, for a total of $477 for two nights. My room, however, although called a suite, wasn't really. To me, a "suite" is two rooms (not counting the bathroom). Here, it's one room, with appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, sink), dishes, and utensils crammed into one side of the entry hall. (You can also get a portable stovetop, on request.) For space reasons, the bathroom door slides, instead of opening in and out. Instead of a proper closet with a door, there's a wall area with a drape across the front. The choice of glassware provided was odd -- highball glasses, but no tumblers. There was an ice machine, but my room had no ice bucket that I could see. There was no restaurant or cafe and no bar, a big minus for me. The free breakfast was VERY cost-cutting. Premade breakfast sandwiches sitting in a warmer. One kind of pastry and one kind of muffin, both wrapped in plastic. Three kinds of cereal, plus instant oatmeal. The only fruit I remember was green apples. Okay, it did have a make-it-yourself waffle iron. So bottom line: If you love waffles for breakfast and you want to cook your own lunch and dinner, it's a great choice. So we stayed the night here. And talk about disappointed.... I requested no wheelchair accessible room because I have a phobia. Guess what I getting, I was even upgraded that's what I was told. Factor in that I checked in at 6pm with this request.... Once I returned and walked in it, I called down and was told they are sold out. With no sleep because of the phobia- I speak to manager and she tells me I got an upgrade and the room was bigger. We visit Temecula fairly frequently and usually stay at embassy suites. We tried out home2suites on our most recent stay. The hotel is very new and clean, and the rooms were nice. We really appreciated that the bedroom has a real door, instead of one of those sliding doors (so our kids could sleep early in the other room without being disturbed by us). The kitchen had everything we needed and the electronic black out curtains in the rooms were pretty cool. As much as we liked the actual room, I am extremely disappointed in the breakfast advertised. I generally could care less about the provided breakfast but the hotel advertises "400 different breakfast combinations" everywhere. Breakfast was actually a very small counter with a fridge of yogurt, a single donut, a single piece of bread that someone has taken a hole out of the center, a waffle maker, cereal/oatmeal, and frozen eggs. Clean, new, modern, and a funky location to boot! All in all the hotel was fine. Semi close to Old Town made it nice for dinner options. The room did have a small light on the counterthat was on when I first entered the room. For the life of me, I couldn't find a switch to turn it off. I ended up just unplugging it. On this day, the card I associated with check in wouldn't take the prepaid $50 authorization (the room had already been paid for). so, I offer to give him a new number which he responds to with "we have to swipe the physical card" uhh... the app doesn't swipe anything. You can punch in a number, just like I did. nope. so I offer cash for incidentals, and he can just give it back when I check out. nope "we don't deal in cash" but they have laundry facilities which require quarters... so, they turned away a ten year Hilton honors diamond member. read more

Thank you Dennis for making my short trip and great experience. Your smiling kind face after a long drive was a great welcome. This hotel is beautiful and ecofriendly! Not only is the staff super kind and helpful but the hotel itself is beautiful! I love the room I had. It had a full service kitchen, fridge, stove, dishwasher, full size 4 seating dinette, 2 TVs one in the living room and one in the bedroom, sofa pull out sleeper, large bathroom and lots of plug in!! I mean WOW!!! Holy smokes I haven't stayed in a place so clean and fairly priced in a looong time. I can't wait for my next trip here! Thank you to the room service cleaners, you did a wonderful job. The room was spotless!!! Great job!!! Thank you to the security guard who walked me to the door late last night. I appreciated your kindness and you being a gentleman.
