First room was clean and spacious... it has minimal toiletries shampoo conditioner and body wash was not filled fully so we ran out on our second day... they also provided 2 mini bar soap by the sink and a make up remover.. So i would always travel with toiletries im sure toothpaste and others are available upon request. But if not they do have mini corner store by the lobby.. with snacks and drinks and mini toiletries options. They also have a starbuck franchise coffee but not full menu. This area is surrounded by stores walmart sams club trader joes and restaurants if you really need anything. We did not check nor use the gym, laundry pool and rooftop bar. But those are available. Also this was my sons 1st Bday and i usually ask if they do something for them, usually they will have a goodie bag and a cup cake so it does not hurt to ask. But Marriot did above ans beyond for us balloon set up ans cup cake so that was such a great touch.... Overall great place wont mind to stay here again if we are near the area!

    Heading to our room.

A few weeks ago, we had a lovely stay here on a Saturday night. Everything was wonderful. Room was spacious and clean. The bar downstairs was small but sufficient. It was perfect for a quick turn around trip. We had my grandpa with us and he was very comfortable here. We would definitely stay here again.

First time in Murietta/Temecula. Let me start by saying it was hot AF there. I went there in early October. It was about 100 degrees in dry heat. On that note, Ill make my way up to the good regarding my stay: CONS: 1) LOBBY: Once I walked in, it was not cool. I'd say it felt like 80s? They had these machines either blowing air or circulating the air. Not sure if the A/C wasn't fully working or what. 2) ROOM: Flooring is vinyl. Most hotels I've stayed at are carpeted, so that was new to me. I didn't mind it but there was an area where the flooring was buckling up. If you weren't careful you could scrape your foot. The A/C blows straight on to the bed closest to it. I was freezing but I couldn't turn it down. It was either on or off. I ended up putting the light see through curtain over it so the air would be muffled a little. It definitely was much better. 3) BATHROOM: One thing that bothered me was that the toilet was facing the big mirror. Last thing I want to see is myself using the bathroom. Haha. 4) BED: There were some stains on the sheets but I think it was bc the sheets have been through the wash several times for years. Behind the pillows, the headboard was all ripped up. The fitted sheet seemed to have shrunk some as it didn't cover the whole mattress (see pics). 5) No water refill station on the floors. I had to go to the restaurant bar area where there was a huge water dispenser to refill my water bottle. They had sliced cucumbers to give it some flavor. Overall, the cons weren't bad at all. It's just more nick picking. Now to the good stuff. PROS: 1) Pretty big parking lot. Plenty of parking available. 2) located right next to a little strip outside mall with restaurants & other stores. You can walk there; but remember it was 100 degrees outside. Lots of good restaurants were close by to drive to. I highly recommend Rival Coffee! 3) Service was great. 4) Rooms & bathroom were spacious. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. 5) Plenty of outlets and USB plugs, good coffee maker (no instructions so you had to figure it out). 6) One thing I do like is the vinyl flooring bc I hear bed bugs don't like shiny smooth flooring. Since the bedding wasn't the cleanest I was afraid of bed bugs. I did check out the mattress etc and all was good. Even better with vinyl flooring. Overall, I would probably stay here again; but purchasing new sheets would be nice. I thought for the cost and hotel being a Marriott, the rooms would be a little nicer. It was close to a lot of restaurants and shops so if you're looking for convenience, this would be the place to stay.

I love this chain! I try to always stay at a Marriott hotel. The hotel itself is very nice! However the room had a strong urine smell to it. We asked the front desk to please have someone mop it. She immediately sent someone. The lady that came to clean the room moped the restroom but the problem wasn't in the restroom. It was in the living room. As I expected pained where the smell was coming from, the lady proceeded to tell me that she didn't originally clean the room therefore someone would come back to clean it. Then she said she was off and it wasn't her job to mop it. She then left. I was confused as to why she refused to do it. Like seriously??? I had to go to the front and complain. The lady was there in the front and I had absolute no problem telling them what had occurred. The supervisor came right away to clean the room. She was nice and apologized for her staff. An employee should never say that to someone that is staying here! If we ask for services that person who's job is do clean, should clean . The others who work here are great! And I will tell you this! This room still smells and yes it was moped! I'm assuming a dog peed here .

My stay at the Courtyard was great. The hotel looks like it's only been open less than a couple of years. The queen bed was comfortable and the room has modern amenities. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

This was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had in years…read more I originally booked a one-night stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Murrieta Temecula through Hotels.com. I called ahead to ask for early check-in, and instead of offering options or even basic courtesy, the front desk told me I'd need to book the night before if I wanted to guarantee a room would be ready early. No offer to pay a fee--just "book another night." So I did. I added the previous night through Hotels.com and was charged again. When I called the hotel to confirm, I was told that my second reservation didn't exist. The front desk employee, Geena, was incredibly rude, put me on hold for over 20 minutes, and laughed during our call. I also spent over 30 minutes in a Hotels.com chat trying to fix it. Still no resolution. Out of caution, I booked directly through Hilton a third time just to make sure I had a room when I arrived early the next day. When I showed up at 6:30 AM, I was given keys by a different staff member--Kelly--who told me that I was a "no-show" for the prior night. The night that Geena had me book so that I could arrive at 1 the next day. Who knows if Geena even knew what was going on because she also said she checked me in and Kelly said she did not. Kelly said "Oh, you just wanted early check-in?" YES, that's what I was trying to arrange all along. Instead, I was charged for three full nights, all because no one at the front desk could handle a simple request properly. Zero communication, zero accountability, and zero customer care. I've stayed at dozens of Hilton properties and this one ranks near the bottom for service. Be warned: if you have any kind of special request or issue, you're on your own.

It is conveniently situated near I-15 and I-215, various attractions, and dining options. My wife and I just spent a few nights here during the New Year Holiday and our overall experience was very good for the most part. The room was nice and clean, all devices and appliances were in good working condition. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The breakfast served there is relatively palatable and usually enough to serve all types of diets. We did hit a bit of a shortage due to the Holiday and the restocking didn't happen until our check out day but plenty to go around, regardless. All the working staff was very friendly, receptive, and professional. Most especially, the kitchen staff during breakfast hours. I apologize for not getting his name but he definitely did the above and beyond. Also, the front staff as well. Kudos to them. Originally, a family member booked us for only one night but neeed to add a couple more nights. They gave it to us for the mid week nightly rate which was awesome. They could've easily just charged us the weekend rate for the two extra nights. Due to poor weather, we didnt check out the pool area. It rained the whole time we were there. Also, didnt check the gym, either. So, there were two issues. The first was the housekeeping had somehow missed cleaning our room after the first night. No biggie. I was able to track a housekeeper to replenish what was needed. However, when they came in the next day, I didn't notice anything that was cleaned. Just items replenished, items swapped out such as towels and bedding. Bedding remade. A couple of the clean pillowcases had some nasty stains on them. We didn't use those pillows. Noticeably nothing wiped down nor vacuumed. If you are a TV person during downtime, may be a little problematic. Especially, if you are a streamer type. TV's do not have preloaded apps to sign on and off of. Everything will need to be accessed through your phone or console. Definitely not an end all, be all, but FYI. TV has basic programming with a couple HBO and Disney channels. Yes, definitely, would come back here. It's fairly new, safe, and very affordable for what you get. This particular spot is definitely better than some of their nearby establishments that tend to be a little lackluster and safety can be a little suspect in the surrounding area. 4.5 out 5 stars.

Lol but no, it's just motion sensored. LOL I do want to shout out one staff member, Karma, for his kindness. He saw that I was holding multiple items while getting the complimentary breakfast, and he brought me a tray to hold the items so it would be easier for me. So sweet! I brought back the tray downstairs to give back to him afterwards, and I gave him a tip to thank him. :) Breakfast was pretty good. I liked the egg omelet, sausage, and cereal. I definitely would stay here again when I'm in the area.

We were especially impressed with the nice bathroom with large shower and separate tub. Check-in was easy; like an Airbnb a simple code for room entry was provided and payment was made online. The property feels secluded and private and is very well maintained. There were only 4 or 5 rooms, I think, at this property. Each room has its own designated parking space. Like an Airbnb, bring your own amenities; other than soap and towels, nothing else was provided in the bathroom. There is a pool and hot tub but I never even saw either as they were on the back side of the complex and we pretty much just wanted to chill in the room. We planned a stay here just to relax and rediscover what a nap is. The huge downside for us was that the walls here are paper thin. The noise from the room next to us kept us from being able to relax or sleep and even woke us up the following morning. Conversations, the television, and the lovely sounds of snoring could be plainly heard by us. The most irritating noises from next door were the sounds of a babbling toddler who enjoyed running around the room; we were mistaken to think this is an adult-only type of villa. While we loved the room the noise didn't conform with our want of a relaxing vacation space.
