Just as most people said in the reviews this is a hidden gem. I'm shocked it's open after business hours since it's in a office complex. Therefore. This place has plenty of parking!! It's a cute place with indoor and outdoor sitting. The wait staff is really nice. The only comment I have for them is know what's in the food. We asked about a sauce and wine and didn't get like good explanations, but we just went with it. But if we had like allergies I can see how this could be a problem. The food was good. With lots of flavor. The sauce with the empanadas was really good I wish I knew what was in it. The seafood picante was the perfect size and enough sauce to rice ratio. The only down side was I think the calamari was a little over done. My friend ordered the beef combinatio. She loved it... especially the beans. It's a wonderful hidden gem in the middle of the typical Irvine business sector off Sand Canyon exit to the north of the Kaiser Permanence off the 405. The outside patio with the shade of a gigantic tree that's perfectly suited for a sunny day. The food there is delicious. I had the parijuela soup (seafood soup). This is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants. I love the outdoor seating with all the shade and lights in the evening, such a vibe. The food is delicious! I usually get a Lomo Saltado or arroz chaufa, the white sangria is also pretty good! I've never had a bad experience on service. I had lunch here with my coworkers today and ordered the seafood paella. Unfortunately, it was overwhelmingly salty to the point where I couldn't taste any other flavors. I even took the leftover home and tried to balance it out by mixing it with a pot of rice (and made fried rice) but it was still noticeably salty. I hadn't been to this restaurant in years. It was good back then and I wondered if it was still as good. I was pleasantly surprised, it had gotten better. What I remember most about the restaurant was how good their green sauce was along with the Lomo Saltado. Maybe it was because I hadn't had it in a while but it seemed to be better. I am always impressed when the staff of the restaurant is friendly and personable. It wasn't just our waiter who helped us with the food and beverage selection, the server was also very friendly. Came here for dinner on a Thursday evening around 6pm. There's no wait and we were seated right away. Our server David is very helpful explaining the menu to us in details. We ordered the fried calamari to start, and Peruvian Paella and Seafood Picante. The fried calamari was really good with ceviche sauce garnished on top. It's very crispy and the portion is generous. The Peruvian Paella is a one person portion with the right amount of spices. The Seafood Picante is good, however it's on the spicy side for me. I'll definitely get "mild" next time. But the taste is awesome. Overall, we like it better than Inka Mama and this is closer to home with super easy parking. We will be back again. read more

Love this family owned business! The portions are HUGE and the flavors are great. Went here for a work lunch and we had such a great time. They start you off with a bread basket that is dipped in this in-house made green sauce (not sure exactly what it is but I LOVED IT. I COULD DRINK THAT WHOLE BOTTLE). We shared the Empanadas which comes in a set of 3 and honestly one of those was enough for me. Super flavorful but also filling. I opted for the Lomo Saltado and that was really delicious. They don't skimp out on the meat and it's flavored well. Portion wise, it honestly became two meals for me. Drinks wise, the Maracuya (Passion Fruit Punch) was SUPER REFRESHING and I loved it. Next time I come again, I want to try their Picante or other stews as they also looked really good and a little lighter than the Saltado. Amazing and super friendly service. Plenty of parking in this plaza. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you have a larger party, I recommend calling and making a reservation as they can get pretty busy even just at lunch time on a weekday (it's in a plaza with other offices and the workers frequent here for lunch since it's so good!). I work in the same plaza as Inkas, but in the two years I have been there I have never tried them. My cousin was in town and swore that it was delicious and so we went when he came down to visit me. I have never tried Peruvian food before, so this was my first time. It is interesting, kinda like a mixture of Asian and Mexican according to my cousin. I got the fried rice, while he got a beef dish that had rice, green beans, and beef. Their portions are a huge size, and it even comes with a size of bread. Although I've driven by this restaurant close to 100 times to and from my place, I had never stopped in until a few weeks ago. For those looking for legit Peruvian cuisine, this is a wonderful spot tucked away in a commercial area. There is extensive seating outside, and plenty indoors while maintaining a safe distance between parties. I've visited twice and was very pleased with the Empanadas. The Chicken filled had great seasoned flavor. I recommend this one if so inclined. You are served a bowl of bread and great green dipping sauce which has a great spice. Its main ingredient is lettuce, but has a great balance with spices. My suggestion is for you to give the Paella a try. It is filled with seafood and that is well seasoned. The rice is great and the portion is very filling in light of the fish, mussels, calamari and shrimp. This was excellent! The atmosphere here is easygoing, and not filled with decorations, but it is made warmer by the incredibly nice staff who are superb with their service. My experience is still early, but I highly recommend you stop in. Tasty wine adds to the endorsement as well as the value. So glad to make this a regular spot for me. Perhaps, I'll see you there! I had the steak milanesa that came with rice and a salad and ordered a side soup and the Happy Hour sangria. The sangria was delicious and so was the soup. Gosh that soup surprised me so much as it was packed with flavors. The milanesa was tender, juicy and had just the right amount of crunch. Also not to forget while the salad was simple the dressing was not. A balsamic and oil dressing that I would buy a bottle of for home if I could.
