My wife loves their beet salad. I have to say though that I think this place just might offer the best BLT sandwich on the face of the earth. Service is great and everything is clean. I'm sad that we'll only be in the area for another few weeks. If I lived here all year round this would definitely be our date spot and go to "we're hungry" place to get lunch or dinner.

Hello Penn Station East Coast Subs,…read more I had the very best visit yesterday at Penn Station East Coast Subs, Store #376, in Dallas, North Carolina. 701 W Trade St Dallas, NC 28034 My ReceiptID is 149170-376 I would like to recognize two outstanding employees, Katie and Nadia, for providing exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and made to feel welcome. Both employees were extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu and products. I ordered a large Philly Cheesesteak and a small order of fries. I was impressed as I watched my meal being prepared with fresh ingredients, and the food was served hot and in a timely manner. Everything was absolutely delicious. In addition, the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. What stood out most was the positive attitude and customer-focused service provided by Katie and Nadia. They not only treated me with kindness and respect, but I also observed them interacting with other customers in the same friendly and professional manner. Their enthusiasm and dedication made it clear that they take pride in their work and genuinely care about providing an excellent customer experience. This level of customer service, combined with great food and a clean restaurant, is what keeps customers coming back. I respectfully request that this message be shared with the highest levels of your corporate office so that Katie and Nadia can receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding commitment to customer service and representing your company so well. Thank you for employing such exceptional team members. I will definitely be returning and look forward to visiting again. Their efforts did not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated. Groovy Beast Is a Must-Try in Gastonia!…read more What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The moment we walked through the doors, we felt the relaxed, upbeat atmosphere that makes you want to sit back, enjoy yourself, and dig into some good food. We had a feeling this place was going to deliver, and it absolutely did! The service deserves a shout-out of its own. Our server was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything, while the rest of the staff greeted us with smiles and genuinely positive attitudes. You can tell when a restaurant has a good vibe throughout the entire team, and Groovy Beast definitely has it! The food? Straight-up delicious! My wife went with the Garlic Parmesan wings, which were seasoned perfectly and fried to a gorgeous golden crisp. I created my own UFO Double Burger with bacon, egg, and Swiss cheese, and that monster of a burger did NOT disappoint! It was massive, juicy, flavorful, and loaded with everything I wanted. In hindsight, I probably could've conquered a single instead of the double! The sides deserve some love, too. The fries were crispy and tasty, and the onion rings were spot-on--not overly thick or paper-thin, just the perfect balance of crunch and flavor. Groovy Beast has the complete package: great food, generous portions, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. It's the kind of place you discover and immediately start wondering why you didn't try it sooner. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Gastonia has a real hidden gem here, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

Traveling in a business trip and starving is never good. As I was passing through the area, Yelp…read morebrought me to Dallas Tavern. It was mid afternoon with a small late lunch crowd. Ordered wings and loaded fries. Not sure I would call them loaded as they come with bacon, cheese and scallions. On this day, they came out with cheese and bacon. I had to request the scallions and they were brought out in a small cup. The fries were...ok, not HOT. The wings..definitely crispy however most were missing the dry rub and had feathers all over them. Being a major wing fan, this may have slowed my roll with ordering wings anytime soon. My advice to the restaurant. 1. Source cleaner, higher quality wings. 2. Up the game on the loaded fries, more ingredients and make sure what's included is on the fries...deliver them HOT. 3. Have salt and pepper on the tables.
