I hired Infinity to install a plug for an electric vehicle, and I'm pretty disappointed. It took only 10 days for them to go from a bid to an installation, but then it took over two months after that for the job to be complete through a passed inspection. The Work: The installation itself went ok. The installer was late, but he cleaned up after himself. (I can't believe that's the #1 positive thing I'm saying.) Unfortunately, he made a mistake that led to a failed inspection. Office Communication: ...is horrible. I didn't get any proactive call or email to schedule an inspection until I called (multiple times). I eventually had to escalate to the owner to even get a response. Scheduling the actual inspections was also tough, in part because the office staff couldn't follow agreed-upon protocol (e.g., sending a text message the morning of an inspection so I can know the status during business meetings...instead I had to call to get a status!) Interestingly, I paid for the work when it was completed, which was before the inspection, so I'm not sure if Infinity Electric has a "well they already paid for the work, so let's forget about the customer" attitude or what. First Inspection: Failed. Infinity sent an electrician to be at the inspection, but he didn't pre-inspect the work to see that it would fail, so the inspector came and immediately failed it. Waste of 2 hours of my time. Second Inspection: Missed. Infinity scheduled a second inspection but didn't bother to send anyone or tell me, so no one was here to give the inspector access to the job. Third Inspection: Finally passed, but Infinity didn't bother to send anyone to liase with the inspector, so I had to do it myself instead of being on a phone call for work. (Yeah, I work on things other than electrical plug installations, which is why wanted to hire a "professional" electrician.) Bottom Line: Based on my experience, Infinity Electric may talk a good game when they bid a project, but their professionalism after that point is severely lacking. As a result, Infinity Electric cost me much more of my time than was necessary and led to much more frustration than is appropriate. read more

I had a terrific experience with these guys. The work needed was to move a 3-way light switch to a new location, add a couple of outlets for a new entertainment center, and pull a new 230v 20A circuit and roof level disconnect for a mini split heat pump. The tricky part was the original 3-way switch box served as a j-box for a lot of ancient wiring and I thought I'd have to live with a cover plate right at the entrance to my rec room. They cleanly moved the old wiring to much less visible spot where bookshelves will hide the box. They promptly returned calls, made their scheduled appointments, did high quality work and always kept me in the loop. I will definitely call them again for future work. read more

After buying a new Tesla, I needed to find a company who could come out to install their high powered wall charger in my home in Simi Valley. After searching quite a bit, I came across Infinity Electric. The problem is, I waited till the last second to get the charger installed, as I had already received my Tesla on Thursday the 18th, but didn't have any way to charge it, and was having a very difficult time finding anybody who was available anywhere in the next couple of weeks, let alone trying to find somebody to come out on a Saturday, which is all my schedule permits. I called the company, and spoke with a nice woman named Amy, who answered my call. After explaining the situation and the type of predicament that I was in, she said she's gonna do everything she can to try and fit me in. Later that day she called me back and connected my call to the owner of the business. I explained the situation to him, and the owner came out the following day to come look at my home on short notice, and give me a bid on the job. Not only that, but he was able to squeeze me in THAT SAME WEEKEND, WITHIN 48 hours of reaching out to their company. They are here now at my house wrapping up the job. Let me just say that not only did they do an amazing job with the install, but both the owner and apprentice were very neat and clean, they wore booties when coming in and out of the house and vacuumed and swept up everything after as well. If all of this wasn't enough, the owner was kind enough to help me with a completely unrelated issue, that had nothing to do with why he was out here. He was successful at solving the other issue I was having as well. In closing, I definitely will refer these guys to anyone looking for a good electrician or anyone looking to have a Tesla wall charger installed in their home. ROB SAVED ME $6000 I had a bad outlet and had already called another company to come look at the problem. They told me a whole new line had to be run from the garage through the walls and ceiling into the kitchen and that the project would take 3 days to the tune of $6,000! These guys are absolutely amazing. The utility company came by, did some testing of our breakers, and when the power came on, our condo's electricity never came back on. Of course I didn't discover this was an issue until I came home some 8 hours later and the power was still off. These folks had done an excellent job with installing our internal breakers and their number was on the panel, so we gave them a call. Even though it was after hours, they returned our call and tried walking us through resetting various panels (including using FaceTime, bonus points for that). When that didn't work, we tried to go through alternative means, but Infinity came through, sent a person at 8:30 at night, and within 10 minutes they had located the problem, replaced the faulty piece of equipment, and had our power back up. Everyone else we dealt with that night gave us the runaround with fixing our problem, leaving us in the dark. Infinity (specifically Michael and John) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserve our deepest thanks. We will be using them for all our work moving forward. read more

Infinity Electric has done several projects at my house. The first was to install a new 220V circuit for our new induction cooktop in our kitchen island. They made a tiny hole in the garage and were able to pull the new wires across the whole house to another tiny hole in the kitchen that they cleverly hid inside a support post. Superior work, professional staff, and very reasonable pricing. Also had them replace under cabinet lights that were buried in the tile back splash.
