This place is a milk tea and smoothie place with various teas, fruit drinks, and smoothies. To judge milk tea places, I get their signature or special milk teas. That is what I got today a regular with boba for $0.50 extra. It was ok in taste not too sweet like other places, but you can choose your sweetness. The boba though was a bit hard. Infinitea was good but if I am in Kapolei, I would rather go to Hula Boba. The sizes are larger and there is no extra charges for toppings. Taste there to me is better too. read more

Infinitea is located at the Ka Makana Ali'i food court and is one of 3 locations. They also have one located in Waimalu (aka Rainbow Tea House) and Honolulu. I've gone here multiple times with friends but ended up not getting milk tea because I've tried infinitea in Waimalu many times and being there are other dessert options around the mall. This location always seems to be busy being in food court area. Usually there's a line up to the door and gets crowded inside while people wait for their drinks. The seats and tables seem really packed together in as well. I'm thinking either they need a bigger space or a different layout. I was really craving milk tea while browsing the mall and stopped by. The snow matcha drink was good but a bit on the sweeter side. I added on haupia as well and at first I thought maybe they forgot to add in but there were some chunks at the top of the drink. The haupia was really mashed up and was not a big fan of the texture. For milk tea, I'm used to having chunks of haupia or custard in the drinks. When I've visited the Waimalu Infinitea locale they had huge chunks of haupia at the bottom of the drink. If you're really craving milk tea and happen to be at the mall, go for it but for now I might stick to the other west side milk tea joints in regards to the crowdedness or drink consistency. read more

The strawberry one was good but the ube one was straight up ice and just watery. We ordered it the same level of sweetness (regular/100%) so the inconsistency is shameful. Service is okay, I walked in and immediately the cashier looked ready to take my order but seemed a tad frustrated when I looked at the semi-disorganized menu for more than a minute. This is the newest hype at Ka Makana Alii in Kapolei. I ordered the U-be In Love. My husband ordered Coffee Crunch. I liked my drink. I wish there were a little more coconut gel in mine, but it was fine. My husband enjoyed his drink as well. We sat there sipping our drinks and reading the menu items. I ordered the Ube in Love and sis ordered some type of pineapple tea. My drink was listed as a popular drink and it lived up to that claim. It had coconut jelly and ube ice cream. I like tea/boba places and we go to Infinitea if we're at the mall. Only 3 stars because I have ordered the same drink (Avocado Smoothie with custard pudding, 50% sweetness) and it has tasted different each time. The first time, it was just as I expected. And then the last couple of times, it just tasted like ice and pudding. Order pick up could be more efficient because sometimes they call your name, sometimes they just call out the order so if there are multiples of the same order, just need to be careful. It can also get really busy and crowded so I wouldn't recommend bringing in a stroller, which I have had to do a few times. read more

I got the regular size coffee milk tea, regular sweet level, with boba. Cashier was not only friendly, but offered the rewards program to me. I forgot I had it... after I entered in my number, he notified that I had a $5 reward to use on the next visit. As I waited for my drink, I took notice of all the employees, whether they were behind the counter or coming in to work. All were kind and courteous to the customers, with either a smile or greeting. Some business may not value this ethic, but it really does go a long way, especially if they want customers to return. My drink took no more than 6 minutes to come out. I used to really like this place when it first opened at kamakana Ali'i, but I've found that the price for what you pay just doesn't feel worth it! I've gotten milk teas with standard sweetness that tasted really dilute and their specialty drinks start at $5-6 for a small size.. I got the matcha crumble (aka with Oreos) and I felt like without the Oreos the match itself just tasted really bland. That and the smoothie was just so watery like it had melted already. The customer service is always nice and wait isn't too bad. The concept is cool it's the first boba place I've seen in Hawaii like Seattle where seats and chairs in a cool atmosphere that provides some board games to just "hang out" with friends. Because it's still a new place, the line can be long but they make sure to get it moving and your drinks to you as quickly as possible. I got the Honeydew Fruit Tea with Lychee Jelly and Mini Tapioca. The combo may be a little naturally sweet from the added lychee jelly. Honeydew Fruit Tea also comes with little pieces of the honeydew fruit in your drink. Fruit Teas are always my favorite because they're refreshing and don't give me headaches like milk teas. There's also board games available, which is really nice because people are off their phones for a bit and genuinely interact with others. Super yummy! I ordered a Thai Milk Tea with Boba & Vanilla Ice Cream! I would've took a pic, but I literally drank it so fast--it was that delicious. I can't remember what I would normally pay at other tea spots, but for some reason I feel like it was a little pricier. The line was super long, they went through the line as quick as possible. There are lots of options, so I guess I understand why the transaction takes a while. However my drink was out super fast, so no complaints. Hmm. If anything could be improved I would say that the layout of having the cash register be middle of the store is junk cause the line goes straight out the door (today's line was out the door), then if you wait for your drink on the left you have to cross the line to pick it up at the counter on the right. I would say they should move the resister to the far right, then pick up on left. It would flow so much better and feel less cluttered and crowded in there. read more

While the register person is adequately nice it does not surmount me having to wait 15 or so minutes. I've been in here during non-peak and peak times, it's the same. The beverages tend to be on the sweeter side, almost unbearable - so ask for yours to be half sweet if you don't want all of that diabetes.
