So I went to this establishment for what was advertised as an Oyster festival. Needless to say when I arrived at 6pm I was told the festival sold out at 2pm that day even though the event was advertised as being from 11-9pm. so I decided to sit at the bar and have a drink. First I was in line behind someone being help at the register on the other end of the bar. The waitress helped the gentleman and then left the register as if she was handling some other things behind the bar, never returning to take my order, even passing by me several times. Taking orders around the bar. Then A young couple walked up behind me and were helped by the gentleman behind the bar, I assumed he had been helping them before because they were discussing how much alcohol was in a particular beer and weather or not the underage young women could legal drink it based on the alcohol , Now I'm still standing there, yet no one asked to take my order or if I needed anything! Two people finish eating and left so I took one of the seats at the end of the bar beside where I was standing . I watched while the lady lady bartender finished her shift and left and another bartender took her place, upon staring her shift she went straight to help the large group of gentleman at the bar with drinks, so I told myself maybe they have been waiting just as long as I have , yet when she finished with their drinks she walked right past me sitting there with a menu in hand! The final straw was seeing the gentleman with the beard come and take orders from two groups of people standing right beside me , where I previously was and he never attempted to take my order! I won't even mention me looking up and catching a a gentleman staring at me, like literally hard staring at me!! I don't like to make assumptions however I can only assume I was not a welcome sight in this establishment due to me being a black woman!!! I'm in Ocala for a travel assignment and I can say experiencing something like I did at this place yesterday tells me all I need to know about this area! This was my first time visiting the new location. I always enjoyed the older location downtown. However, this new location is fantastic. I love the vibe, what a great place to meet friends and hang out. The huge hall also offers food while the brewery is the center point with the bar wrapping all the way around the tabs in the center. There's a beautiful outdoor deck with a view of a lake. The only drawback for me was that I love to enjoy my tasty craft beer, and it was hard to dodge the cigarette smoke. Even though the patio is huge, it is covered so the smoke gets trapped. One smoker polluted the entire patio. It was a beautiful day, but we had to go inside. As a non-smoker I do wish the patio was smoke-free. read more

Came here on a Saturday while stumbling around Ocala FL. Infinite Ale Works is located inside Midtown Station which is kind of like a food hall. On this visit they had about 4 of their brews on tap. I got the West Floridian Christmas which is a Belgian spiced quad 8.9% ABV. It was sweet, but quite delicious. I like the concept, but this location does not seem optimal and the limited amount of their own beer on tap was disappointing. Still a cool spot. Hope the business picks up. We were here on Saturday around 5:00 pm. I would imagine they get busier in the evening, but they close at 10pm on a Saturday night so well, there is that. read more

Found this place in downtown Ocala off the beaten path. A lively brewery, the kind that instantly feels like the heart of the neighborhood. The space is buzzing with energy, yet it's also cozy. You hear the clinking of glasses and the occasional burst of laughter. The bar is long, made of polished cement, with gleaming taps lined up against the wall, offering a wide variety of craft beers--IPAs, stouts, lagers, sours and seasonal brews. The air smells faintly of hops and malt. Behind the bar, the bartender Sedgrick is smiling, chatting with regulars, and pouring a perfect pint. The "Into The Haze" IPA 6% was super cloudy which was fantastic and the "Raspberry Witfinite" 5.5% was perfectly tart. To one side of the brewery, there's a game room which is filled with classic pinball machines and adult board games.. People are gathered around, laughing and competing, while others lounge nearby with their beers, enjoying the casual, playful vibe. Circular wooden tables perched atop genuine aging oak barrels creates a warm, earthy atmosphere. The interior boasts a timeless design, with natural wood finishes and cozy accents that evoke a sense of comfort and charm. For larger gatherings or a breath of fresh air, the spacious outdoor patio provides additional seating, perfect for enjoying the surroundings with friends or family. Whether you're here for an intimate cold brew or a lively celebration, this venue offers the ideal setting for any occasion. We have been meaning to visit here and finally spontaneously did so. We had our corgi with us and I decided to treat her for the day since she had to go to the vet earlier. Since our first visit, we have repeatedly come here planned and spontaneously. This location is a short walk from the square, which is nice. It's small but also not small. Most times we have visited, it was not crazy busy so we were served quickly. There is a bar with seating, as well as tables in the main area. There is a separate room with games and minimal seating. Outside, it is covered so if it rains, you will not get drenched. Besides games, most nights they have live music and a Touchtones Jukebox. There are 1 or 2 tvs as well. Sometimes there are food trucks outside and I do not think we have seen the same truck there more than once; it's usually different each time. They serve their own beer of course but also their line of booze. There is also some wine choices but not Infinite brand. The staff is usually decent but there has been one guy who is our favorite. I always for his name but he loves our corgi and he used to have a corgi. He is always friendly and attentive. Some of the other staff members we have met looked miserable. They have the new location as well, which is a totally different vibe but closer to our home so we have been visiting there more recently. read more

A quiet evening here, I stopped in at around 4pm on a weekday and was the only patron for a bit while I sat with my laptop to unwind with an adult beverage after driving this far from Orlando. Infinite has a selection of about a dozen or so beers, including a Belgian quad, a couple of stouts, a pale, and some IPAs. After a taste, I selected their "Witfinite Blueberry" that is a wheat beer flavored with fruit. The fruit was subtle enough for me, not overwhelming the beer. This is a really cool spot that isn't just a brewery, but a food court like setting with mixed drinks and wine as well. The outdoor seating area is really nice and the service was great. If you're into IPA's, this isn't the place for you as they only have one IPA on their menu. I opted for mixed drinks instead. read more

Camping this weekend up in Ocala and found this gem thanks to our friends on Yelp! The original location is SO cute! Great options for any beer connoisseur AND they just started tinkering with a few vodka drafts. YEA, YOU READ THAT RIGHT! I sampled the Moscow Mule and all I can say is GIDDY UP! The staff were super friendly and told us about a second/new location just opening. We checked it out and the location is nestled right across from a cute lake. It boasts a huge outdoor seating area while inside it serves as the focal watering hole surrounded by a cute ice cream/gelato vendor and another food depot not yet open. I look forward to our next camping trip this summer that brings us back to Ocala so I can see the finished new home!!! read more

So we decided to give Infinite one more try (3rd try.) We live by the 1, 2, 3 strikes you're out rule! What a complete disappointment. Walked in and saw many of the eatery's were closed or gone. Walked up to bar and saw it was 3/4's full and ONE (1) beer-tender...no wait staff for the tables or outside seating ... imagine 1 person for the whole building on a Saturday at 4PM!!! Both serving stations on each end of the bar were 4-5 people deep with people waiting for her to take their order. She was more concerned with existing patrons at the bar versus serving anyone new. Watching her, she was just plain pissed off and miserable. A guy sitting at the bar said to us "expect to get your beer NEXT YEAR!" We waited about 15-20 min. and left. Sorry to say...we will never go back. Management should have worked to improve and maximize their Original Infinite Operation versus trying to be EVERYTHING TO EVERYONE at the new place because this is very poorly run and operated!! BTW...went to another Brewery in Ocala that is about the 3rd of the size of Infinite and they had 3 wait staff taking your order(s), serving you, and they even appeared to be happy you came to their establishment!! read more

Saturday night and we were craving some good craft beer so we decided to make a stop. Nicely decorated bar with some bar seating, hight top tables and 3 big tables that you could share. They were playing live music and the singer was great! We opted for a flight with 4 options, they were all either to bitter or a little too hoppy for my taste and I ordered wheat beers. I'm not even sure if they have bites to eat since the live band and the beers on tap were so amazing I didn't even get to ask. The service here is top notch they see your glass nearing empty and they will always attend to you. The ambiance is so chill and fun. They have a game area, the bar is a great place for convos with staff and if you just want to chill and look at the passerby people you can sit outside or inside at one the various picnic tables. I drove up to Ocala from Tampa last weekend and stopped in at Infinite Ale Works, and boy was I glad I made it a point to visit. Aaron behind the bar made me feel welcomed the whole time I was there, and his friendly nature and knowledge about the beers just made for an awesome experience. Not being from Ocala, I can't say much about the location overall, but I will say this: it's a block away from an awesome local coworking space that I've used in the past, and is only a block or two away from what appears to be a nice little town square of sorts. Seems like a great spot. The brewery/tasting room seems like it's in an old building (possibly an old gas station/garage?), and it adds a good bit of character to the place. There's a decent bit of outside shaded seating, and the tasting room is pretty decently sized as well. I found it to be a pretty comfortable space. Plenty of windows keep it from feeling too dark, but the decor makes it feel very homey. The best part of Infinite Ale Works is definitely -- as it should be -- the beer. I commented to Aaron that I've been at places that had a good number of beers where one or two were outstanding, but this is the first brewery I've visited where every beer I tasted was unbelievable. My favorites: - Dan's Last Dunkel - Dunkel - Boysenberry Coffee Gose - Hoggetowne Dry Irish Stout - Raisin Pain - Belgian dark Strong The Raisin Pain was definitely the best beer I tried overall in my visit. It was so good I even took home a crowler. Probably one of the best beers I've had in the past year. The concept of a food station is a great idea. I've seen it done well in many other cities. I appreciate the effort, but this place lacks the ability to be anything beyond a bar. I guess the fact that the central focus is the bar should've been the first clue. We had the smash burgers, quesadilla, and ice cream. 3 meals and drinks were $70 plus $12 for one ice cream. We went as a large group of 10 of us to have a few beers during the afternoon around 2 pm. One of our friends had on a Billy Woods shirt on, who happens to have someone on the team. After we tipped and left, the bartender with his handlebar mustache said out loud, "good luck with the f ing election" out of nowhere for no reason to us. This is a solid, local downtown spot. Lots of fun games, a ping pong table, Jenga and both indoor and outdoor seating to grab a beer with friends and relax. This place was pretty chill. Met two friends for lunch, and afterwards decided to come here afterwards. The outdoor front seating is copious, the inside area is large, along with the various diff games they have (although there were no pingpong balls, or dart board score board at the moment), AND, the beer was pretty good. The beer in this brewery is incredible, my only complaint is the shady administration. I take full responsibility for not looking at my receipt before leaving. I was charged for an extra beer that I never ordered. In addition I was over charged for a pack of beer that I purchased. The price of the pack of beer was hand written on a sign by the refrigerator. I reached out to the establishment and received an email from a Mr. Tom McDonald which he asked me to call him. I left my info on his mailbox, but he never returned my call. wow, what a great brewery in Ocala Fl. so... many.... options.... multiple taps of major styles, all skewed toward a bit sweet. the gose and wheat beers were fantastic, the fruit adjuncts not overpowering. the coffee barley wine and belgian quads were malty perfection. My hubby was really excited to try out this place. He was talking about it at the beginning of the week and when it was Friday, he was at the door waiting for me. The place was packed with more people coming in after us. Parking is plentiful but it's more like you can park where you see space on the grass or gravel. When you come in, the first thing you see is a very impressive display on the beers on tap. They have some regular and high top tables, as well as a separate "gameroom." We both opted for flights of beers as we wanted to try many of them. It was a good selection including some fruity and spicy options which I hadn't seen before. My husband's favorite was the Aperoni. We tried the Buzz fest too as the bartender said it sells out quickly whenever they make it. It was good but we both preferred the Aperoni. The bartender was excellent, very friendly and had lots of suggestions. He let me try some of the beers first to see what I liked before making my final selections for the flight. Looks like a good place to go with a group of people. Service here is a solid 5+. read more

So here is my 137th brewery visit. I need to step it up if I'm going to visit them all before I die. Infinite Ale Works is in a stand-alone building with some outside seating and quite a bit inside. The place was kinda hoppin' on a Friday at 6 pm. They have lotsa beers on tap! I counted 22 of their own beers with a few guest taps. No, sorry but I didn't try them all. Even I have my limits! Mojos Mojito Blonde has a nice color and a little bit of a lime flavor to it. Decent but it didn't grab me as the flavor didn't stick with me. Orange Gose On Forever was just one of the Gose beers on tap. There was also Coffee Gose On Forever, Pina Colada Gose On Forever, and Mango n Friends Gose On Forever. That is a lot of Gose. The Orange Gose didn't do much for me. I think I'm just not a Gose guy. Chaos OJ NEIPA was fruity and a little piney. It was not quite what I expected from the name. There wasn't much fruitiness really and the bitterness at the end was a little much compared to others of the style. The Trails Pale Ale just didn't work for me. A little bitter for a pale ale and I couldn't place the hop but the flavor just didn't appeal to me. Ok, this one caught my attention. Into The Dark Roast, a Knob Creek bourbon barrel aged stout but with vanilla and chocolate Cinnamon Toast Crunch? What? Chocolate, molasses, vanilla, coffee, bourbon, oak...it's all in there. Almost overpowering flavors that are built for sipping. This was my favorite of the beers I tried. I was surprised to not find any red or brown ales on tap that were brewed by Infinite. SWPFTD would not be pleased. I can't say I loved Infinite Ale Works. The beers were just ok for me, except the last one. I can see it being a great place to hang out and they do have Duchesse De Bourgnone on tap which is one of my all-tome favorite beers. Great selection and variety of beers. Some of which are pretty out there like the Skittles and Razzberry beer, but definitely makes an interesting sampling sesh. I like the fruity beers so I enjoyed a lovely Passion Guava Gose and it was really good. We went there after dinner so we didn't really need any food, but it would be nice to have snacks while drinking..especially if you go there on empty stomach. But, I am a sucker for Belgian styles and my hands down fav was the WestFloridian Quad! Huge selection of beer but many are so off the wall. Maybe they are good but I only tried 4. Of the four I tried, I can't say that I really liked any of them a lot. The dry stout was ok but I've had better. The NEIPA was different than many I've had. It had an off flavor that I can't describe. The Magenta Dragon Gose was interesting.
