One of the fanciest bars I've ever been to! Excellent service from very friendly and cool bartenders.

I hate to leave a bad review, but this was my second order in a row where something was forgotten…read more this time the shrimp I added to my salad was forgotten. I had checked the bag after I left while waiting at a light. I didn't get to check the rest of the order till I got home. The farmhouse beef was missing the glaze, and the wings were missing the blue cheese (we ordered extra). The food is always good but people don't want to be missing anything from their. Order. Yes mistakes happen, but this is the second order in the past 3 weeks. So this is obviously something that happens often. I shouldn't have to check my bag. That doesn't change the fact that they forget things. I'll give them one more shot.

Once at the restaurant, we experienced an initial wait to be seated (10 minutes) Then after being seated, we had to exchange menu's for some reason, and there was some confusion as to who or whom would be our waiter/ waitress? We finally got our waiter "Chris" he was prompt, mater of fact, and professional. I ordered the spinach salad and a grilled chicken breast on the side, while Dawn ordered the fish and chips. The restaurant is clean with ample lighting over the booths and track lighting through out. I got to see a co-worker (friend) and her family which was pretty cool. The wait for service after our order was placed wasn't too long. The spinach salad was worth the wait and outstanding! The chicken was grilled to perfection and Dawn said her Fish and Chips with smashed peas were delicious. Our waiter, Chris made several trips to our table and made sure we were good to go. Overall, after a little minor and humorous amount of confusion; The meal and service turned out to be excellent. The price is about normal for the area, and just a little pricey for everyday dining. However, we will come back when we are back in the area.

Stopped by District Bar and Kitchen for a late lunch/early dinner on a beautiful spring day…read more The temperature outside was pleasant and so my dining companion and I opted for lunch on their patio. We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

Would definitely get another flavor to try next time. Got the honey chicken sandwich. It was big and flavorful. Not spicy. The fries are yummy. We recently visited Elevation 89 at the Ocala airport and overall had a pleasant dining experience…read more The restaurant has a clean dining room with calming colors and décor that create a relaxed atmosphere. One of the highlights is the excellent view of the runway, where you can watch small airplanes take off and land while enjoying your meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was good overall. We both ordered rice bowls with stir-fried vegetables and our choice of protein--one with chicken and the other with shrimp. The flavors were enjoyable; however, both bowls seemed noticeably watery. We're not sure if the extra liquid came from the vegetables or the rice preparation, but it was enough to be noticeable and took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Menu prices appear to range from around $10 into the $40s, offering options for a variety of budgets. One disappointment was that Elevation 89 is listed online, including on web searches and Yelp, as offering a Sunday Brunch. We specifically chose this location because we meet once a month to try a new brunch spot. Unfortunately, upon arrival we learned there is no Sunday Brunch currently being offered. We were disappointed by the inaccurate information and hope the online listings are updated so future guests can plan accordingly. Despite that issue, we enjoyed the clean environment, good service, and especially the unique runway views and watching the small aircraft come and go.

For the amount money spent, this place was NOT worth it…read more My wife and I finally tried this place after being in Ocala for 4 years and it was pretty underwhelming The Wagyu beef sliders had barely any flavor and the fries with the sauce were decent but not out of this world. 6/10 The Churrasco Steak and Shrimp was seasoned very well but that bed of rice legit tasted like wet socks. 6.5/10 The Osso Bucco... to be fair I should've read the description because I thought it was braised beef and so the pork really wasn't doing it for me. But the gravy and risotto were really yummy and the pork shank was really meaty but honestly i couldn't finish it because the pork flavor after a while was off putting. 6/10 Overall the service was decent, the ambiance was dope, but I wouldn't waste my time ever going back.

We started with the seafood trio appetizer, which had a nice mix of fried calamari, shark bite shrimp, and a cold crab dip that was served with five pieces of warm bread. The shark bite shrimp had a little bit of spice to it, but not overly spicy. The crab dip had a great flavor of Old Bay, but not overwhelming. Then we moved onto the seafood tower which was a variety of cold seafood. The oysters were my favorite. The clams were my least favorite. The oysters were shucked perfectly and were super fresh. While the shrimp was delicious... I do wish they were deveined and shelled. Thee server was nice and pretty quick. We sat outside on their patio area that is basically in front of the parking lot area but it was still nice to be outside. Overall the food was good and I would go back and try a few new things. But I would absolutely get the oysters again.

April 2026 I…read moreselected Remington's for my mother's birthday because I wanted to give her an evening worthy of the occasion. Celebrating one's mother properly can sometimes be difficult to do, and I wanted everything to feel thoughtful, elegant, and memorable. Steve, the manager, played an important role in making that happen, and I remain sincerely grateful for his kindness and attention to detail. Although our party was only three, we were given a beautiful table in the back that felt private, comfortable, and perfectly suited for the evening. We still enjoyed the lively energy from the nearby bar while having a quieter space of our own to celebrate. It struck the ideal balance between atmosphere and intimacy. Hailey was our primary server and was training George that evening, which meant we benefited from the care of two attentive and friendly servers. Service moved smoothly throughout the night and never felt rushed. The food was, for the most part, delicious, with steaks and dishes that reflected the restaurant's reputation for quality. There was one minor issue with my own steak, which had more butter than I would have preferred, but it was far too small a matter to overshadow the purpose of the night. What mattered most was seeing my mother genuinely happy and enjoying herself. That meant the world to me, and to her as well. My thanks to Steve, Hailey, George, and the Remington's team for helping create a birthday celebration I will remember with gratitude... and so will my mother.

I think the food was superior and the staff was great behind the bar. I do love the decor as it is very much equestrian in a classy way. As for the waitstaff in the restaurant, a bit more training on the menu might be advised. When asking for a recommendation I was recited the entire menu. Really??? The host was less than personable. This is the first and usually the last person to greet and thank their customers. Neither occurred when I was there. I have been there three times. I plan on going back again. I hope this time they will have beer for my brother as that is all he drinks. Maybe some local or specialty ones. The noise level was high all three times I was there. That can only be helped by doing something with the acoustics and adding sound dampeners. I look forward to giving them another try. I am hoping the host station will improve as well as the training of the waitstaff. I hope they are around for a long time and I wish them much luck.
