I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on October 30, 2025, and within days discovered the car was infested with roaches. At first I noticed a single bug and assumed it had somehow gotten into the car. Shortly after, I opened the door at night and saw multiple roaches freely roaming inside the vehicle, making it clear this was an existing infestation from the previous owner. When I contacted the dealership, I initially couldn't get through. When I finally did, I was told I needed to speak directly with the salesperson who sold me the car, Crissy Burton (also known as "Crissy the Car Fairy" on Facebook), instead of being helped by management. I found this extremely unprofessional, especially given the seriousness of the issue. I waited for a call that never came and ultimately had to reach out myself. When I finally spoke with her, I was offered a loaner vehicle while my car was "bombed." I made it clear I did not want the vehicle back--alive or dead bugs were unacceptable. I had owned the car for less than a week, and after waiting years to purchase a vehicle, this experience was devastating. Instead of accountability or an apology, I was met with deflection and blame, including insinuations that I may have brought the bugs into the car myself. I had only driven the car to and from work a couple of times, had no food in it, and have never had issues with pests in my life. This accusation was insulting and deeply unprofessional. When I came into the dealership, staff avoided the situation entirely and told me to wait for the salesperson to arrive. At that point, after the ongoing back-and-forth, I requested to speak with a manager. No one took responsibility, no one apologized, and I was made to feel small and dismissed. I am 28 years old but look younger, and I was absolutely treated that way. I was eventually offered a trade for what was described as a brand-new vehicle at the same lease price, only to later discover the vehicle was more expensive and had a previous owner. While I could accept those facts, it became clear that I was being told whatever was convenient in the moment, with no follow-through or honesty. To make matters worse, one of the dealership's own employees later warned my father about purchasing from here. I wish that warning had come sooner. What should have been a joyful milestone turned into a stressful and heartbreaking experience. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution when dealing with this dealership, especially if issues arise after the sale. I am very disappointed with my experience with this dealership. I dropped off my car for a recall repair on March 19th and made the mistake of saying I would be out of town for a week but absolutely needed the car upon my return. I was told that would be no problem even if the recall had to go through the entire flow chart. I received one text on Friday the 20th that a part was in but had no context and was not called; I had to call to find out more. I was told it didn't pass the first step in the process and they didn't know how long it would take until it was completed. I reminded them that I needed a car by the 28th and was told that was "a phenomenally long time" and that I had nothing to worry about. I received zero calls, texts, emails, etc. between the 20th and 28th. I had to call multiple times on the 28th to be told it was not ready and to call back on Monday the 30th. Eleven days after I dropped the car off, I had to call five separate times to even get to an operator who transferred me to leave a message for a service worker. Additionally, I texted. The text was answered with a vague apology about poor communication and said the car would be ready today, March 30. I let the operator and service worker both know that I had to call five times because when I pressed 1 for parts and 2 for a representative, it brought me back to the beginning without ever ringing. Not only did it never ring, but it gave no option to leave a message. Neither person seemed concerned about the phone line not working. I finally got to speak to a parts representative on the phone after 2pm today and was told that he got "spoiled" knowing I'd be out of town and the part wasn't ordered until Friday and would be completed by 5 today. A tad bit of accountability, barely any apology, and absolutely no offer to reimburse me for Ubers needed today to and from work or any other type of compensation after a direct confirmation that my car would be completed by the 28th and no communication whatsoever for over a week. They acted like none of this was a big deal and I was overreacting. I am out time and money and am deeply dissatisfied with the experience dealing with this dealership. They gave me the run around the entire time. Now two years later I've gotta get my engine replaced AGAIN and I find out that they gave me a USED ENGINE. I'd really like to file a lawsuit against them because how dare you put a used engine in someone's vehicle. The new dealership said there isn't even a sticker on my engine to identify it. Scammers. They will knowingly sell you a defective car trying to hide every information they can. They will add fees and charges that are OPTIONAL as mandatory. If you have a concern about the car they will say we'll look at it later and then try to rush everything so you don't even think about it. They won't offer you any warrantys available or not. Im giving the location a 4 because the scheduling app needs some work. I set my appointment for a Monday morning and when I showed up they had NO record for my appointment. Not only was there no record but they accused me of trying to schedule it before I walked in (which I thought was insanely rude). After they realized I wasn't changing my story and needed TODAY to get my oil change done, they let me know the situation (they were super busy), let me know how long my wait would be and they got to work. The waiting room at Hyundai is decently set up. You can sit at a high table, there are some couches and there are also work stations (this is where I settled). The work station was perfect! The wifi ran with NO issues and I was able to plug my laptop up in my own area. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who has a Hyundai. Besides the faulty app there service is stupendous! Also let me mention with the purchase of a Hyundai you get a 3 year service program which includes free oil changes for the 3 years plus some other maintenance features!!! read more

High Level: new management here.. good experience and pricing.. give them a chance. Wife's car had gotten up there in miles and may have been turning a corner from a 'tool', to a 'tool' that was going to start costing us money. So she started looking for a new one. We looked and test drove some cars at other dealerships.. but when she decided on a new car, it became purely about getting a good deal and feeling comfortable about who we were dealing with. Wife fell in love with the Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy edition.. so shopping we went! Chatted with 3 dealerships and got initial pricing from each of them. Got an 'out the door price' from one but didn't feel like we were getting a good deal. The next morning I pinged Indy Hyundai online and got an immediate response from Angie, chatted with her on the phone for a bit to explain what we were looking to do. 45 minutes later, wife and I finished lunch and headed to Indy Hyundai in hopes of putting together a deal. Angie had told me that she was on the leadership team and would be roping in one of her sales guys/mangers, Kohlin. We ended up taking a look at a couple Calligraphy editions in different colors, then narrowed it down to 2 that had the options that best fit our lifestyle. From there it was off the races... how much could we get for our trade? How much can we get the car for? Overall, we got slightly more for our trade then another dealership had offered.. and we got the calligraphy for a reasonable price. We were looking at the bottom line "out the door price", encompassing all taxes, fees, out trade in, etc. Our out the door price ended up being a few grand less than the bottom line/best price we'd gotten from another local Hyundai dealership. We left with a beautiful new car and content on the deal we got. Indy Hyundai Experience - Unauthorized Hard Inquiry My first leased vehicle I purchased in NYC before we relocated over to Indy was up for either getting a new lease or financing my current 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. My visit started out Great with meeting Kanyon (Sales Floor Mgr) and hearing me out as to what I was looking to do. As mentioned, I originally purchased my Hyundai in NYC where the process (believe it or not was MUCH smoother). Once it was time to discuss potential quotes; Kanyon asked me what my credit score was so he may pass it to the Finance mgr to run the estimated quotes. As I'm waiting for the quotes; I received a notification from Credit Karma that there was a hard inquiry on my credit. At this point I was confused as I didn't sign any waiver to run my credit as we were still discussing the quote options (hypotheticals). When Kanyon returned I asked him why and how my credit was ran without me signing off on giving approval to run it. I also informed him that I already was pre-approved through Capital One with an offer and pending the quoted options I would most likely go through Capital One as they would run my credit once finalized (for my current lease buyout or a new vehicle). Capital One pre-qualification was enough to cover a New Santa Fe with all the bells and whistles; which I was considering. Kanyon commented he wasn't aware that my credit was ran and went to get the Finance Mgr, Austin PEUGH. This is when things went down hill extremely quickly... Austin came over and pretty much said he HAD to run my credit to get numbers. I explained to him this wasn't my first time to a dealership and that I'm aware of the process. He could have generated estimates based on what I provided without running my credit. The guy had an attitude with me (not even a personality) & at no point even apologize or offer to rectify the issue. He did ask what I wanted to do to move forward & I asked him to correct the error in pulling my credit without my permission. He said I would need to follow up directly with the credit bureau on my own. After his remark I asked to speak to his Manager; since Austin throughout this entire time was speaking to me in a Condescending manner. While waiting for his mgr i reviewed the quotes he provided for a new lease... he played your typical sales game where they wanted to get my car to resale as a certified preown vehicle. I researched Kelly's Blue Blue before going to the dealership that morning and my car was valued at $29K for CPO meanwhile this guy was low balling me with $26k. He didn't even take the time to check/review my residual value on my car through Hyundai finance. Either-way Finally I had the opportunity to speak with Jason Parker who introduced himself as the assistant GM. Jason listened and immediately apologized for the situation. I Thanked him for acknowledging the mistake by his Finance Mgr. He mentioned he would follow up on Monday with the GM to review options regarding my credit being ran without my permission. He did take the time to explain that capital one would pull my credit and they would need to send over Hyundai's credit pull to them. After all of this frustration I was annoyed and simply wanted to leave with my current vehicle financed as this place definitely didn't deserve my business. I just have to post this. First off, I hate car dealers. The car buying experience is right up there with root canals for me. Second, I triple hate car dealer finance guys. BUT, these folks are definitely *not* on my hate list. They are, without a doubt, the exception to the rule. Our salesman was Caleb and he was really great. Enthusiastic, and what he lacked in specific knowledge at this point in his career he made up for in his ability to get answers. Took my car in for some recall work. There was some updates that Hyundai needed to have fixed that were safety issues. My car was running great before it went in. The front rotors were badly worn and squealed. The work was done. I reviewed the service and the multipoint inspection that was done. They said I needed a tire, 1 tire. But they said nothing about the rotors: did they really look the car over? I left and I notice that the car felt a tad different. I get to my destination and the battery dies. I get a jump and then get pulled over for no brake lights. I get a new battery and now the car will not even turn over. Can is stranded in a parking lot. Called service and they told me nothing they did would have caused any of this and if I wanted they could do a diagnosis on it for $160 but it would be a month before they could get to it. Initial looks from anothet service tech says the ECM may be damaged and that there could be a short somewhere that is causing some issues. Already $400 into the repairs while the other mechanic tracks down the issue. I went from a great running car to a dead car just for getting recall work done. And, I do not even get the courtesy from service to even take a look to see if they made a mistake somewhere when they serviced it. Never going there again. read more

Personally, we do not know why this dealership has such great reviews because we did not get a good experience. We stopped by around 9am to look at 2 cars on their lot-a grey and white. We had done our research on those 2 cars. We knew the price, features, etc. Anthony shows up to 'quiz us' as salesman do all the while trying to hide his vaping. He said he did not know why anyone would want a white car...fine, but we liked it. He proceeded to give us a 'special' price because that day the 'manager' said he wanted to do whatever it took to sell more cars. We knew the price given was the same as was showing on their website (we had a printout). We took for a test drive & thought we would be alone but as we were driving by the door, Anthony waves us down to get in.During the drive, he was vaping.We could hear the window go up & down & smell smoke. Nice thing to do in a car we might be buying!! We decided to go in & talk further. Everyone there kept looking at us the entire time - so much so that we felt uncomfortable - like we were doing something wrong or shouldn't be there. We were hoping due to the 'sale' & them wanting to sell as much as they can, we would get a lower price. Wrong. There was no 'sale'. The price on their website was the price given (which had been that way for several days) even though Anthony tried to tell us otherwise....again, we had the printout that showed the last time the price was lowered.We then pulled out a coupon that we screenshotted from their website for $500 off. They were not going to honor that because that sale was for 'emailed' customers only.After much back and forth, they decided to honor it. Reluctantly we bought it. We then asked if there was a 'break in period' as we needed to do highway driving & he said no, drive as normal. Wrong again!  Over 2.5 hours later,we were finally in finance where everything happened so fast...no explanation....trying to pass an extended warranty quickly by us & when we noticed & declined, we were given attitude.Once we finally left that, we got the car.Anthony said he wanted to show us all the features.We just wanted to leave but he wanted to set up Bluelink.We told him which one of us to be primary & he did the opposite. He went through more features but we just wanted him out of the car.He said there would be a survey coming about him & to be nice.It's been over 3 wks & we have yet to receive it.Once we got home,we noticed the seats & interior windows were still dirty.We emailed several questions to Anthony that were not getting answered(supposedly going to junk mail) & when did get a response(after emailing the sales manager-who, btw, does not respond), we were blown off & realized we were on our own. We finally go our title work(over 3 weeks later) after calling to check on the status several days prior-it was being delayed due to 'changing offices'?! Our treasurers office even commented on the lateness as we only had two more business days to get the license plates without a penalty. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone! read more

I brought in my Hyundai Sonata to get serviced for a recall and possible dead battery (it died on me). To start, Eva, the office assistant, is wonderful! The toy room was a great place for the kiddos, if you have to bring them. There are 2 waiting rooms, enough for everyone not to feel crowded around each other. Free Wi-Fi! I was initially quoted a 45 minute wait for them to see if my car needed to be worked on for the recall. I was advised an hour after check in that my battery was dead, and that would need to be fixed prior to the recall work being completed. I then waited... and waited...I endured The Maury Povich Show and Jerry Springer. Those shows can get a little raunchy. I was with 3 older individuals and it was a bit uncomfortable. ...around 12:30, went to check the status of my car. I was told about 5 minutes more, my paperwork was being processed. I did not leave until 1pm. I was in the shop from 8:30am-1pm. During payment, with Ira, I asked if they had any coupons or a discount for the wait time (I wasn't aware I was gonna be in the shop that long) I was told by Ira that there are coupons online, none for a battery though-then asked for payment. The full price. My car passed the recall inspection and I got a new battery. The labor on my car was $30- not sure why I was in the shop for hours- or at least not told i would be there all day. It was never explained. I went online and the coupons expired in June of 2016. Its August. I usually go to Butler Hyundai on 96th & Keystones. I remember I got work done there and they comp'd my service twice because I waited longer than what I was quoted. (they did this on there own) I also receive coupons that are up to date. I will continue going there. I went to Indy Hyundai because Butler was booked 2 weeks out. My first experience at Indy Hyundai was not memorable. I took my 2013 Hyundai Elantra to Bob Rohrman Hyundai in Indy after moving from the Northside (went to Butler Hyundai prior). I needed to have my brakes checked out because they've been grinding (metal on metal contact sound) and needed the factory recommended maintenance performed. I called a week earlier to confirm my appointment and when I took my car in Today they said I wasn't on their schedule. Nonetheless they still serviced my car but only completed a basic oil change and didn't complete a multi-point inspection like Butler Hyundai does. However they informed me my brake pads were aftermarket and my rotors needed replaced. I bought my car brand new from Hyundai and it has only been serviced by Hyundai. I informed them of this and they continued to say they were aftermarket therefore it was not a defect of the Hyundai brakes and I would need to pay $400 for brakes and rotors replaced. I know the rotors don't need replaced and if anything they could be turned down first. They were quick to get my car done considering i wasn't on their schedule however I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. Honestly, if you want your Hyundai serviced the right way and by honest people just go to Butler Hyundai. I will not be returning to Indy Hyundai. read more

The sales staff here is very helpful. The facility is extremely clean too, and they have a nice selection of new, certified, and used vehicles on the lot in various price points. Cars that come in on a trade and in bad condition are sent to auction, not sold to suckers that either don't know any better or can't afford better. Bob Rohrman doesn't sell crap. I unintentionally got a behind-the-scenes tour of the entire place when the car I wanted to see couldn't be found (it was moved to Lafayette) and the salesman invited me to come help him look for it. Nice waiting area if your car's getting repaired too. They used to have a cat that lived at the lot, which was really cute...a car lot cat. They let him sleep in the lobby at night. read more

Indy Hyundai stepped in during an emergency and did their best to turn a very bad situation into a win. My daughter recently transferred from an Air Force base in Italy to one in Dayton, Ohio. The Air Force shipped her 2008 Hyundai back to the states. My wife and I drove from our home near Chicago to the transfer depot near St Louis to pick up the car and drive it to my daughters home near Dayton, about a five hour drive. We made it all the way to Indianapolis when the check engine light came on and the car died. This was right after 6:00pm. I called Indy Hyundai and, even though the dealership was just close.d, a salesman answered the phone and recommended a trusted tow truck. They arrived in 45 minutes and towed the car to the dealership. The service manager called the next day and told my daughter that it would be several days before they could look at the car but it would not start now. After some thought, my daughter decided to buy a new car. She did so and I contacted the General Manager of Indy Hyundai and asked him what we could do. He said he would buy the car and offered a reasonable price even though iI had some body damage and wouldn't run. These guys are worth visiting if you are in the market. I came in Thursday September 9th to get an oil change and tire rotation on my 2020 Palisade. In February 2020 Hyundai started a complimentary maintenance incentive on new vehicles for 3 years up to 36,000 miles. My vehicle was at 30,800 and I was charged for my service. I also received my car back with scratches with no explanation (see photo). I was told the Service Manager was gone for the day and would call me first thing in the morning. I was not called so I called several times and still no call back. I then just went back after work (Friday Sep 10th) and when I walked in the service manager was there joking around with employees with no intention of returning my call. I told him my issues of scratches & being charged. He was very condescending, rude, and kept trying to blame me for the damage done to my vehicle. I would not recommend anyone coming to this dealership for service; go to Napleton instead! read more

BAIT AND SWITCH!!! **I'm not sure why Yelp is showing my location as San Francisco, CA--I am in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.** First, when we walked in there were three people parked behind a counter off to the side. I wasn't sure at first, but then it seemed as though the person in front of the counter engaging in conversation with one or two people behind the counter was also an employee. No one greeted us after several minutes, even after we approached the counter (minding social distancing guidelines). It was only after I walked around to the side of the counter and saw a car key on top of a "Welcome" name tag with our name on it (and audibly said "Oh, that's us!") did anyone acknowledge me. At least the name tag showed they made some attempt at preparing for our scheduled appointment. The salesman who then showed us the car was pleasant, but besides the welcome tag the entire operation at Indy Hyundai was in disarray. We had spoken with Erica and Gianna in the day/s before and asked for them to send pics of the used car we were interested in. Pics were sent, but THEY WERE NOT OF THE ACTUAL VEHICLE. We were led to believe the vehicle had been detailed and the "minor" scratches on the driver's door had been buffed out. Upon seeing the car in person we knew immediately we were lied to. The pics we were sent had to have been stock photos of the same year, make and model--even the pics on Indy Hyundai's website of the vehicle we wasted 6 hours of driving time on Saturday to go and see were NOT of the actual vehicle that was for sale. Also, this dealership couldn't take even five minutes to wipe dog hair and layers of dust off the dash--pull a long human hair out of the passenger vent before demonstrating how well the air conditioning worked--or have enough professionalism to at least *notice* melted chocolate on the console buttons before showing the vehicle to us. This car was disgusting inside and out, and completely misrepresented! Besides the interior, the exterior was very rough--deep gauges, beginning rust spots, and full of scratches. They knew we were serious buyers, why else would we travel to Indy from the Chicago area for a used car?!? They also knew we had a trade-in; incidentally, we spent over an hour detailing it ourselves ahead of the appointment AND now have an additional 400+miles on it--for nothing. I would be ashamed and embarrassed to work at OR buy anything from this facility--they have zero respect for potential buyers' time and have no problem lying to anyone to try to make a sale. read more
