Took the car in for a routine oil change and a Freon refill, which costs extra. I'd told the mechanic who checked me in that there seemed to be an issue with the cooling. They did the refill, then did a test drive, and determined the problem was probably a compressor failure, which is helpful to know. On top of that, because the compressor wasn't working, they didn't charge for the refill even though they performed it. Really nice people and good service. read more

I always visit this location. They are quick and helpful and I love the customer service they offer. Everyone is always friendly and willing to offer suggestions. I even stopped in for air one time because I had just gotten my oil changed and my check tire light came on because of the change in temperature. The person that helped me was very kind. Thanks to the "tech" with the Dale Earnhardt tattoo for leaving greasy hand prints all over my hood. Then when he could not get the hood to latch he said "I can't spend all day on this... nothing else I could do". Well.. you could have cleaned the hood off at least. Sent me out the door with a hood that would not latch closed... had to take it to another shop to fix it. read more

Jiffy Lube is the same everywhere you go, and my visit a few days ago was no exception. The speed of service was fine. I always feel like I am being up-selled (is that a word?), which would be fine if they added in a little more value and reason to why. I usually change my own oil but I didn't have time before a trip I was taking so I stopped at jiffy lube. I pulled in and was greeted quickly and professionally. I was able to save money because the employee helping me mentioned they could use the oil and filter I'd bought that happened to be in my car, which I didn't know was an option. I was able to pay for the cheapest package and get a small discount for providing my own instead of paying for the full synthetic package. It still cost me more than doing it on my own, but no where near what I expected it would. They had me in and out quickly (but with enough time that I know they drained the old stuff properly). Now I know where to go when I don't have time to change it myself! read more

Eh they got the job done. It's not hard to change oil, buy I'm not doing it when its 90 outside. They manager was fairly rude and acted like it was an inconvenience that I was there. He didn't like the fact that I had a coupon either. Like most service shops they tried to talk me into stuff I don't need and got insulted when I didn't think they were necessary. But alas, the place served its purpose and I can forgive the guy for being rude, after all it was 90 outside and a dirty job. read more

Stopped here to get an oil change on a weekday afternoon. Service was fine--all the stalls were full when I arrived, but they had my car in within about 20 minutes, and rolled it out about 20 minutes after that. However. I've never paid more than $35-$40 for an oil change. Generally the cost of oil and filter is included in the cost of the service, and since I always bring my own oil, this usually knocks $10-$15 off the cost of service. Not here, apparently. They charged me $40 for the service, plus $10 for the filter. And I only received a $5 credit for bringing my own oil. Not to mention that they got me for $7 to top off my antifreeze--arguably my own mistake, since I didn't ask them what that would cost beforehand, but antifreeze is only about $15 a gallon and I doubt they put half a gallon in my tiny 2-seat convertible. So if you want to pay $60 for a $40 service, go right ahead. If you want to get your money's worth, find somewhere else to get an oil change. read more
