This is the stupidest layout of a stadium I have ever been to and that is saying something having attended events in stadiums all over Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. Chalk one more thing up to the accepted mediocrity of the city. Get tickets to a game and guess what, you can't even see one of the goals or box from the assigned seat. They've put up two tents and a beer stand blocking 100% of the view and action. What a crock of crap. Wasted gas money, time and an evening we could have done something else. I definitely will never come down again. We left at the half. Not sure why we stayed that long. Maybe it was to hear everyone else complain too. Some marketing intern needs to go back to the community college to repeat the marketing course! See the pic.

We took our daughter to the Indy Eleven game last evening and were so impressed with the game, staff, and how they have made the stadium COVID friendly. I could see it being a completely different scene when the universe opens back up but, in the meantime... it was a blast. My Husband snagged a couple beers, my daughter had the nachos and my son had the popcorn. I was a little bummed to see the popcorn may contain Yellow#5. Its the year 2020 folks let's get some healthier options for our kids. Parking lot was easily accessible and again once COVID is done I am sure the parking lot will be more entertaining. Would recommend again and again!

Crazy soccer fans live in Indianapolis! Colored smoke, a dozen drum bands, nonstop chanting, the works! The game was great and the home team win in the closing minutes certainly helped heighten the experience. Tailgating before the game was super convenient, too. Tons of fun!

I have never been a soccer fan until Indy Eleven. If you want the true soccer hooligan experience, I suggest sitting in the Brickyard Battalion, where chanting occurs throughout the game, a band plays, and a lot of chaos (but in a good way). This is not the best choice for families but there are plenty of other seats for a family friendly event. Ticket prices are affordable for most seats. My husband and I have been season tickets holders for the past 5 years. I was excited when Indy Eleven announced the move to Lucas Oil Stadium as it could be very hot sitting outside for games. However, in the extreme heat of July, with the roof open, it was almost unbearable. Definitely a lesson learned...dress for the outside weather.

It's always a summer tradition to go to at least one Indy Eleven game during the season. It's great that Indy has this soccer team. (Notice how I'm not going into too much detail cause I'm not too familiar with the sport.) Just like any other sports-related activity, they have your big screen for viewing, your mediocre half-time show including a game, local craft brews, and chain-y food options. Luckily, parking is never too much of an issue as there are ample parking lots and garages near by thanks to IUPUI and street parking. The ticketing entrance process is fairly easy; you'll get your bags checked, as a heads up. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is my most recent visit: I went for the Pride Night. I was expecting a lot of themed commentary, rainbow flags around the stadium, etc. What did we get? A slide that would randomly pop up on the big screen every now and then stating that Pride Night was on the certain date. Honestly? I would've rather just given the donation to IYG to the group instead of paying for the ticket. Yes, the game was fun, but if you're going to have a themed night, at least go all out and get into the theme. I believe the entire time, the commentator stated that it was pride night once....if that. Even the halftime show wasn't pride themed. Maybe have the group (i.e. IYG) speak during the halftime show to explain their organization, etc.? Just a suggestion. All in all, it's a great summer tradition to go to one of the games, but their themed nights could really use some work.

Raise a ruckus in the Brickyard Battalion. That's where all the cool kids stand. I'm not a big soccer fan (my boyfriend is), but I've grown to love these games. They've grown on me so much that I now join in the chant "shoot him like a horse!" when a player fakes an injury. Before, I felt it was insensitive. Now, I know they're being babies. The Brickyard Battalion section is where they set off the fireworks/celebratory smoke, start the chants, and gather all the die-hard fans. To sit in the section, I recommend buying a $19 ticket that includes 2 beers. With your drink tickets, choose from four types of beer. I go for the Battalion American Pale Ale by People's Brewing Company. My boyfriend springs for the IPA. Plenty of food to satisfy your munchies. Hot dogs, burgers, popcorn, and pizza. Obviously, a little expensive. Get to the game early to enjoy tailgating in an IUPUI parking lot across the street from the west end of the field. Sometimes the team's owner walks around the festivities giving free high-fives and hugs. So gooo! Wear some red and blue, watch the sun go down, and chant your heart out.

Played soccer growing up but otherwise I don't consider myself a soccer person, but I'm really glad I finally attended my first Indy 11 game....what a fun atmosphere! I know from playing that the games are low scoring, which might make you think there's not much action, but die hard fans lead the chants & stomping that lets the crowd have as much fun as the players. Putting Indy 11 games on my must-do in Indy list.

Indianapolis has its first professional soccer team on the field as of 2014. The Indy Eleven debuted their first season on the campus of I.U.P.U.I. and was welcomed by an overwhelming crowd. Managed by former Chicago Fire's Peter Wilt, this team is on its way to slide itself into the Indianapolis sports scene. I gotta say that the Battalion section makes the games a ton of fun. You'll quickly leave with the rhythm of the "C'mon you boys in blue!" in your head along with the other energetic shouts synchronized by a completely dedicated fan base. Don't sit in the Battalion section unless you're ready to leave with a new hair color or be annoyed by complete fun (Insert note to see my pic). While the performance of the first season was less than expected, cheering on a mix of talented soccer players from all over the world united with one goal- to win- kept me in the game, leaning on my seat, yelling at the wrong calls, and standing up to flash my Indy Eleven scarf with pride when the ball met the net--- GOAL! Parking is a breeze. Cheap and housed in a garage on the campus with less than a block to the field. Or, you can tailgate in an open lot with family and friends. Keep in mind that most of the seating is bleacher style and lack backs. Upgrade and you'll sit closer to the field to see the likes of Smart, Pinada, Frias, Nicht and back support is included when you do. Short lines at the taps but you won't be overly impressed by the snacks in the shack. Get your season tickets for the best bargain and enjoy a long, fun summer season with the hottest sports team in town. 2015-- These boys in blue have it and I'll be there.

Trying the 11 out at oil Lucas for the first time and for nights like tonight where it is raining this is a good reason to have it here. Prices are still good at the game and they had a descent crowd for a Wednesday night game.

I enjoy the games much more now that they play at Lucas Oil Stadium. We sit along the sidelines, but the endzone seats seem good too...very close to the action. The atmosphere is fun, and people really get into it -- led by the Brickyard Brigade and Red Card Regiment. The team is great to watch.

You're bound to have a great time at an indy eleven match. IUPUI has done a great job allowing the team to use their facilities and it makes a great gameday experience. Fans are very welcoming and are always up to have a great time with cheering, tailgating and just all around shenanigans. it's all about having a good time. If you're a family with young children i'd suggest not sitting in the BYB, maybe a bit rowdy and loud (and sometimes profane) but there's not a bad seat in the house (the mike). Feel free to learn chants, participate in tailgates and just get involved. Most fun i've ever had at a sporting event. Great prices as well. Get there early and enjoy the BYB tailgate and the honda fun zone at the east end of the stadium

Call me biased but this is the most fun sporting event in Indiana. Make sure to stand in the Brickyard Battalion and sing! Also the front office is spectacular. They will answer any questions you have and are very accessible. You may even get an email from the owner as he checks them regularly.

The facilities are really well maintained, from the outdoor fields to the indoor facility - which gives kids a good option in inclement weather. (Certainly not comparable to the outdoor space, but gives some options for camps especially.) Really all of our "negative" experiences have been around weather, which you just can't control for an outdoor sport. We had quite a few rain-outs this last season and there are only 3 days of make-up games in the schedule -- but that was made clear up front and you have to understand they've got other things to plan in the future and can't just extend the schedule forever. But even in the weather delays, communication was crystal clear and they did everything they could to balance kids' safety with not overreacting (a thunderstorm at noon didn't affect a 5:30pm game - they waited until shortly before the game to make the right call based on conditions at game time.

It has two private parking lots (North and South) that fills up very quickly when there are large events or lots of practices going on. You will find an overflow parking lot across the street. It has 32 fields. But all are not the same size they have smaller fields that are designated for younger children. The fields are well marked and it is easy to find the filed that you looking for. There are no bleachers here, so be sure to bring your own chair if you plan to sit. There is also a snack bar, a shelter with picnic tables under it, some very nice rest rooms and an indoor facility. On busy days, you will find a few food trucks on site. The grounds are very well kept and the staff there is very friendly and helpful. There is no smoking, alcohol, or pets allowed at the complex. I like this complex. It seems to be well managed, looks great and my little one has a great time when he plays here.

While it falls under Indy Parks, it's managed by Riverside Sports Properties. Kuntz is considered one of Indy's premier outdoor soccer facilities with a long history of hosting local, regional, national, and international events. The stadium has two FIFA regulated game fields - 120 years in length, 75 yards wide with a championship field that can seat 5,257. It also has four newly renovated player locker rooms, an official's room, a press box, and a VIP conference room overlooking the Championship Field. In 2024, plans were announced to transform it into primarily rugby use. I think that remains to be seen, though it's had some resistance from the neighborhood. That, for me, speaks to the value of the stadium to the area as it has always been a stadium that has partnered with local groups including leagues - Central Indiana Amateur Soccer League, IHSAA, and a number of youth and high school soccer programs. The stadium is also the home of Indianapolis Alleycats, a professional ultimate frisbee league. So, how is it? First off, the complex really has been receiving some love as of late. For awhile, it was pretty run-down. However, it has been spruced up and looks appealing. The parking lot is a good-sized lot and it's fairly easy to find accessible parking. The bleachers, of course, have definite limitations in terms of access. Getting around the stadium itself is pretty accessible. The area itself is growing to a certain degree. It is still a mixture of tech, industrial, and a few non-profits utilize some office sections nearby. Kuntz is probably one of my favorite of the mid-range sports facilities in Indy. I used to get over here more often than I do these days, however, I'll still occasionally stop by for local events. I've also attended an Alleycats match. I tend to like smaller events - bigger stadiums can get a bit overwhelming. This is a modest-sized, easy to access stadium with some great options for soccer and occasionally other sports.
