A baseball game on a Friday night is always a great idea, right? It was Native American Heritage Night at Victory Field. Parking downtown can be an issue, but we parked across the street in the parking lot next to the amphitheater. It's just a short walk across the street to the field. Entry into Victory Field was a breeze and the employees were friendly at the gate. Victory Field has plenty of food options and does offer adult beverages. Prices are high, but that's to be expected at sporting events! The stadium was clean and we had a fun evening! Victory Field does several interactive events during the game which is nice and Rowdie the mascot was all over! They even do fireworks on Friday nights, which was the perfect way to end the evening!
Your kids are never too little for a baseball game! Here's your sign to take your family to a game at Victory Field! A few tips to make it an easy outing: Bring the stroller. Pack snacks, a blanket, and a few small toys. Kids 2 and under get in FREE. Go on Sundays for Kids Eat Free! Kids get a free hot dog, chips, and milk. Go on Tuesdays for select $1 concessions. Go on Fridays to end the night with fireworks. Parking is easy in the garage across the street for $10. On Sundays they also have character meet-and-greets! We went for Paw Patrol Day, and the line was extremely long--we're talking almost the entire game long. Bluey and princesses are coming in August, so just keep that in mind if meeting the characters is a priority.
I have been coming here my whole life and it gets better everytime! I bring my toddler here now and from meeting Bluey and Bingo to watching fireworks, we always have a good time. I have been here with work and with friends. I have sat in the lawn and the seats. This is always a summer staple and we enjoy every minute of the salty popcorn, savory hot dogs and cold draft Yuengling.
Pretty amazing ballpark! Nice friendly staff, good food and drinks, and the view was spectacular! Plan on parking and walking but not bad if you want to get your steps in. Perfect day for a hot dog, a cold one, and some fresh candied pecans. Even bought a hat! (The gardener in me just had to have it) The new logo is awesome! Grassy areas are nice too, there really isn't a car seat just depends on what you want to spend but they definitely have a good selection of price ranges.
I had a chance to visit Victory Field recently! It's the new home of the Indianapolis Clowns, a team in the BananaBall( Savanna Bananas) league. While the game was entertaining and exhilarating, the stadium a true marvel. The stadium is expensive and the seats are quite comfortable. There were plenty of food vendors, serving a wide variety of items and several stores (they were closed for my visit). The stadium had easy in and out access, a there was parking at multiple locations around the area.
A fun spot for a night out! We had tickets with our cousin so got to enjoy great seats. The flow to get in was fast and we appreciated all the signage. We hadn't been to a game for some time so had forgotten all the 'rules' about food etc. We appreciated that you could bring a cooler and food if you stay on the lawn! The food and beverage options are standard fare for a baseball stadium so not something we can enjoy, but loved that others could get the hot dogs and slushies. It was clean and seemed to be maintained well. We would go back!
Victory Field is one of the best (if not the best) ranked minor league stadium in the country, and for good measure! I always enjoy watching the games and getting all the ballpark classic eats. The stadium is always very clean when I'm there and crowd control is managed well. They have many concession stands throughout. I personally prefer the regular stands since I prefer to get my classic hot dogs and churros. However, the soft serve ice cream sundaes are absolutely delicious and worth getting. Food is also reasonably priced here, where one hot dog is $5 on regular days but only a dollar on Tuesdays! I think Victory Field hosts the Indy Indians for the most part, so they are synonymous in service. The Indians games are always fun, and they host some good giveaways for themed nights. Make sure to arrive early!
Victory Field is such a staple for us, and honestly, our opening day tradition for the last nine years is one of the things we look forward to most. There's just a specific kind of energy in the air when the season starts, it's that classic American pastime feeling that never really gets old. When the weather is nice and the sun is out, there isn't a better place in the city to just sit back and soak it all in. We always end up wandering through the food court area because it's such a big part of the whole experience. It's less about the specific meal and more about that atmosphere of walking around with the crowd and picking out something to snack on while the game's going. Even after nearly a decade of coming here, it still feels like the perfect way to spend a day outside. It's just a great, consistent time every single year. I love their $1 Tuesday food deals too!
Had the chance to take in a day game. Wonderful minor league stadium that was very clean and friendly workers. Great seats at a reasonable cost. Good baseball energy. Diverse food and drink options. Enjoyed the baseball game.
Downtown Location. With a beautiful view of the skyline. Great place to spend a night with the family. They have a number of food items and food combos that are actually pretty reasonably priced to allow for a family to come. On Tuesdays they have dollar menu tonight which is also a great deal. Lots of other activities today they had the Lottery out spinning a wheel to win prizes. They always have a place for kids to throw baseballs or do other activities. One of the great aspects of the park is they have the outfield that people sit on the grass, they can bring in coolers with food and drinks, so you don't even have to spend a whole lot of money to come spend the evening with your family. In addition, there are a number of special event locations where you can bring groups and enjoy an evening at the ballpark.
It's always a great time at the ballpark! Victory Field is home to so much history and has seen so many great players, and yet it always feels like a fresh, good time! Although it may not be a major league stadium, nor would you confuse it with one, it's got so much charm & nothin beats spending a summer afternoon or evening catching a game in the lawn & watching the sun set behind the 3rd base seats! All the theme nights are great too! My favorite is always Friday night fireworks!
On Friday, May 15th, I went to Victory Field downtown Indianapolis to experience Party Animals and introducing the new generation of Indianapolis Clowns baseball team. Seeing the Party Animals vs. the Indianapolis Clowns was very electrifying, hilarious, family-oriented, and everyone had a blast. Before, the gates open there was an Indianapolis Clowns celebration from their band playing, singing, and dancing in the back parking lot area. That night was about welcoming back the Indianapolis Clowns. Once the gates were open, you noticed the original Black Indianapolis Clowns baseball players' large baseball cards. By the ticket box, there was history about the historic Indianapolis Clowns along with Toni Stone. The historic Indianapolis Clowns baseball team was an all-black baseball team. I got my ticket from StubHub at a very great price, and my seat was at the front. I did purchase a hot dog, and a margarita. The hot dog was very delicious. Now, the deals from Victory Field are $1 concessions on Tuesdays, 50% off tickets on select Wednesdays, $2 and $3 drink specials on Thursdays, postgame fireworks on Fridays, and free food for kids on Sundays. Going to a baseball game is always fun, kids always love it, and most importantly, it's the baseball food people love. I truly had a wonderful time at Victory Field seeing Party Animals vs. Indianapolis Clowns play. Both baseball teams are very talented, skilled doing gymnastics stunts, dancing, and just getting the audience involved. I absolutely love my experience, and make sure you check out the Indianapolis Indians soon or another Party Animals game. I can't wait to go back to Victory Field to see Indianapolis Indians play.
Solid AAA ball park... Checked out VF for the first time over Labor Day weekend... Pretty nice ball park with good amenities. While VF is not quite on the same level as Huntington Park in Columbus (HP has much better food, drink options, and over all better "baseball vibes"), it's still a nicely put together AAA ball park... There's really not a bad seat in the house and it's a good place to catch a High A game.
This year I got to experience the private area behind the field. The space contained multiple picnic tables and 3-4 repeating food stations. Several coolers of beer and non-alcoholic drinks lined the VIP area and we also had access to a full bar. Food was standard ballpark food plus sides - huge hot dogs and brats, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, mac & cheese, and more. Bags of peanuts and cracker jacks were laid on the tables and a freezer held dippin' dots. Later we received coupons for soft serve ice cream. A section of seats was available to our group to watch the game; however, we could see from our VIP section. Overall the staff were friendly. They oversaw the coolers and bars, and we were regularly ID'ed. read more

We ended up at Victory Field last night in the most unexpected way! We were actually on our way to the Garth Brooks concert when we ran into a man who had two extra tickets to the game. His grandfather was being honored for his connection to the Negro Leagues, and he told us that his grandfather had even thrown out the first pitch at Victory Field a few years ago--while in a wheelchair. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to be there for such a special moment. We only had a short time before we needed to head to the concert, so we went in specifically to see the tribute and experience a little bit of the stadium. Even though we weren't there for an entire game, I'm really glad we got the chance to visit. Congrats Bill Owen's and family! One thing I loved was how much Victory Field embraces and honors the history of the team and the people who helped shape baseball. There was so much excitement and genuine support throughout the stadium, and it was really special to see the crowd come together to honor someone's family history. The location was also incredibly convenient for us. The stadium was directly across from our hotel, so it couldn't have been easier to get to. What started as a random encounter on our way to another event turned into a really meaningful experience. We were honored to be able to support this man and his grandfather, Bill Owen's, and witness a small but incredibly special piece of Victory Field's history. Sometimes the unexpected parts of a trip end up being the memories you remember the most. read more
What a fun venue. Tickets are very reasonably priced making for an affordable family outing. Now the food and drinks are bit pricy, but that is to be expected at any sports event anymore. Whether you just want something to do with your family or want to host a company outing, there are accommodations that can handle whatever event you have in mind. I generally recommend Fridays when they have firework. These fireworks are truly impressive. I didn't expect a huge a display as it turned out to be. What a fantastic ending to an exciting day. read more

Beautiful field, home of the Indianapolis Indians, affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Great seats, including lawn seats. Friendly and fun ushers. Good drinks! Variety of food choices! Dedicated fan base. Great baseball. Only con is not knowing where to park, as it's near a museum, White River State Park, and who knows what else. Be paid $30 in the same parking structure that had we gone in an other entrance, we could have paid $10. Bonus: got to hear the Dropkick Murthys sing Tessie (yay yay tay) IFYKYK as we exited the park. They were playing at some venue in the state park. read more

I can't say enough about the great time I had at the Indians game at Victory Field! Plenty of great food and drink options at fair prices, clean bathrooms, excellent seats and fun entertainment throughout the game. Found nearby parking for $10 in a museum garage. It was a great experience from start to finish. read more
We had a group outing here at the end of summer and had the best time. They had great burgers and hot dogs and I liked that we had included soft drinks and beer. The staff were friendly and professional. I always love coming to Indians games. It's just as much about the social gathering as it is about the sport. 10/10 great times! read more
My husband and I go to a few Indians games a year as an excuse to drink beer and eat too many hotdogs. He surprised me with tickets to the TJ McConnell themed night at the end of August because he's my favorite Pacers player It was a super fun evening and we got our game 6 shirts signed before left. Can't wait for another themed night! read more
I was able to enjoy a game in the Elements Financial Suite for a work event and loved the facility as a whole! The suite was large with seating inside and a large bar and perfect views of the field! The outside seating had tabled seating which was great for food and enjoying the game. Even though I'm not a huge baseball fan, it was a great experience and would probably come back ! read more
Went here for a Chili Peppers glow in the dark baseball game (a special event). It was easy to get in the stadium and navigate even with the large crowd at the game. They did a great job hosting the game and the stadium really did in fact end up glowing in the dark. Would definitely go back for a regular season ball game. Didn't try any food this time but will have to next time! read more

Beautiful field, great grounds crew that keep the park in amazing shape. Fun team to watch. Active, casual environment. Great for a family outing, work team builder, or first date. There's plenty of seats in the shade, sun, or grass depending on your preference. There are some vegan food options including cauliflower tacos, dippin' dots, and a black bean burger + there's normal ballpark food for the omnivores. Close to many downtown attractions including the conference center, Lucas Oil, White River, the zoo, the canal, and multiple museums. read more

This was my first time at a minor league park and we had a great time! The ticket prices were very reasonable. We sat 7 rows back from 3rd base and paid about $20 per seat. Food was comparable to most major league parks in quality and price. The park is well kept and makes for a very enjoyable experience. read more
To be honest. I have no issues at all with this venue' very easy to navigate! Parking, entrance, food etc. Half of the seats are covered the other half are not Which makes for a pretty hot day, if temperatures are high. Overall it was one of the better baseball venues. The stadium was clean, very well organized, and the staff very helpful and clean! read more
Nice, clean, spacious and fan friendly. The staff are great. They really did dog days well with all the dogs in the outfield. For a fairly big crowd it was still easy to move around. It just lacked...character. There's really nothing unique in the park. It's as cookie cutter ballpark as it can get. And the same carried to concessions and craft beer. I only found one craft beer available in the whole ball park and it was at limited stands with longer lines. We tried a pizza and didn't eat most of it. We didn't see any unique food options. Overall great clean fan friendly place to watch a ball game. I'm glad we visited. But, there's a lot of opportunity to incorporate some unique local quirks to make the park and food/beverage memorable read more

Went to my first Indians game in YEARS and it made me sad that it had been so long. Victory field is an awesome little ballpark. We went on a Friday night, arrived 45 minutes early. Food and drink lines moved quickly. Lots of fun stands and games around the park. And we got to see the fireworks after the game. New intention will be to go to a game every summer! read more
Such a fun little ball stadium. I can't believe I haven't done a review yet! Inexpensive ticket options during season. Some good food and drink specials, depending on the day (although some of the regular items are pricy). We've also take our dogs on certain nights and sat out in the green. Pay attention to their schedules, becuase there is always some sort of special or highlight happening. Fireworks, too. Most recently, I attended an event and we sat/ate at the Elements Club, which was great, with some really elevated food options. Only (huge) downside to Victory Field is parking, especailly on a popular game night, and if there are other big events happening in downtown. #ReviewsByRL read more
Despite living in the Indy area for 9 years, this was our first trip to Victory Field, and we really enjoyed it. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, despite the foot traffic that comes with a sell-out game. The concessions were about what you would expect for a ball park, and you can't beat the location. There is something magical about going to a professional baseball game in a stadium like this, whether it's a major or minor league game. We'll be back. read more

I love this ballpark. So much. It's gorgeous. There are great views. Not a bad seat in the house. I've been to many games and a couple movies here and I've never had a bad time. Most recently, I went after they put up the netting down the foul line. I'm so happy with that choice. Even helping one person not get hurt is great and it was fun to watch the coaches and players throw balls over the netting to the kids. Can't wait to go back tomorrow. And next week. And next month multiple times. read more
Very clean facility am with great hospitality! I went there three times this year and each time I had a good time. This is not a huge stadium so everywhere you sit, you get a good view of the game. I highly recommend prepaying for your parking online at SpotHero like their websites suggests. This way you will be saving a lot of money. I used to pay about $10-$15 for the game day parking but on that website I paid only $4.20 at a garage just few blocks away (5 minute walk). They often had fireworks after the game and it was honestly better than 4th of July fireworks I saw this year! read more

What are all the concessions at Victory Field?
There are a lot and vary. They have hot dogs, chicken tenders, hamburgers and pizza. Some offer combos and some don't, so definitely pay attention cause the combo meals are a better deal. They also have beer, alcohol and snack concessions. If you…
