I had never heard of this place before, and the restaurant is in an unexpected location, but I'm glad we gave it a try. The service was exceptional, and the food was fresh. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which unfortunately were a little undercooked. We also ordered the pizza special of the day, and it was very good. I had the white shrimp, which came with four shrimp served on two pieces of bread. It was very tasty, although the bread became a bit soggy from the sauce. I'd definitely come back to try a few different menu items. The restaurant has a unique vibe, and despite a couple of minor issues, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Finally was able to try this place. I'm so excited that we did stop. This restaurant has a cool farm to table vibe. A lot of community tables, which I love to meet new people. Service was nice, all servers were very helpful. You order food first then find a table. It can be a bit pricy, but we were not disappointed with the food. Our three entrees were fresh, crisp, savory and mouth watering. We will come again to try something new.

Incredible tempura asparagus with two dips: wasabi and ponzu. What's good about it? Comes with the BEST onion rings -light batter, crispy, fresh goodness. Doc and I had 2 different pizzas, hubs had a brisket with cole slaw. We had lemonade ice tea, peach ice tea and a tall bottle of sparkling water. Ordering and table staff are fast efficient, remove used plates quickly. Side room has a water station where you can get your own take out pizza or 2 sizes of left over boxes, napkins, table settings, and more. Very glad Doc researched and suggested this restaurant. One of the few pet friendly places grandpup could lie comfortably in AC on clean floor. Doc ordered her slices of turkey for her lunch.

4.5 stars. We stopped here from seeing many locals recommend it on Reddit. Their menu is very much based on locally sourced fresh ingredients. The staff was very nice and the ambiance was lively and loud. They have bench style long seating and it has a brewery atmosphere. I ordered one of their pizzas which was very tasty (fennel sausage, tomato, mozzarella, and basil). Kids tried their burger and fries which were customized. And hubby got their oyster po'boy which was very much enjoyed. I also tried a glass of rosé and a glass of their Lambrusco. The waitress was super nice in adding some fries to our order at no charge due to the busyness of the place. I would definitely recommend this place and visit again.

The food here is super tasty and quite unique from what you can get elsewhere. I love their variety of pizzas and side dishes, it's easy to order at the counter and get a bunch of variety to share. Definitely not the cheapest but the quality is there. I'd recommend trying it out if you're with a larger group in the area!

Don't ever let other people tell you about the foods and services of restaurants. Came here from a recommendation. Ordered four dishes and each dish is delicious. My favorites are Escargot and Mussels with Fries. I feel like having fries so I ordered Mussels with Fries. The fries need to share because of the amount. I don't mind coming here again.

This place has been on my radar since I lived in So Cal roughly 6-8 years ago. I gotta tell you it was totally worth the wait. It turns out they've even expanded. We shared a few personal size pizzas a bahn mi and Brussels sprouts and everything was on point. Friendly staff and plenty of area to sit. Great food worth the stop anytime.

The best meal we had in the Solvang area. It was suggested I order the Caesar Salad, which I loved. Also ordered the Tempura Asparagus and Onions with miso and ponzu sauces, as well as the Mushroom Soup with Gruyère Grilled Cheese. Loved everything. Paired with local wines, this was a perfect meal. I'm normally not a fan of food halls, but this super exceeded expectations and not only was the food. Incredible but the ambience in the space was amazing. Everything is made to order and you can tell the difference. You may have to wait for a bit, but it's worth it because you know that it's fresh and literally started after the order was put in versus being prepped for hours before. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a nice casual spot to grab a quick and easy lunch and fortunately came across Industrial Eats in Buellton. What a fantastic find! We walked in and immediately got in line to order while we watched the crew working hard behind the counter. Everything on the tables from the other patrons looked and smelled so good we instantly knew we were in for a great experience! The portions aren't overly large but they're just right for anyone with a good appetite! We asked for some suggestions when we ordered and we weren't steered wrong! We ordered a BBQ brisket sandwich and petite filet, spinach, mushroom, mash, demi glace. It was all soooooo gooooood that we practically licked our plates! We also got some beer and wine to go with our meals and were very happy with our recommendations too (Kaena Syrah and Hook Line and Drinker Hazy IPA). Since the menu appears to change from time to time, it'll be interesting to see what they have available the next time we come in. Glad we have one more reason (excuse) to come back to Solvang and Buellton area! I hope you come in to experience the goodness that Industrial Eats has to offer too!

Came here twice during a trip to the Central Coast, and this place is a gem in Buellton. The layout of Industrial Eats is pretty simple, just line up to order at the front of the counter, get a number, and find an open spot. They deliver the food to your table once ready. In the both times I went, I got the Beets and Hummus with chips, the Miso Cod with avocado, and the beef tongue pastrami Reuben. All the dishes I tried here were delicious and the quality was fresh, with my favorite being the pastrami Reuben. The pastrami was very tender and not overly salty, and really liked how complimentary the horseradish was with the pastrami. My only complaint is how overwhelming the menu can be just reading it when ordering at the front. There was one guy in front of me that felt stressed out about what to order. The service here was pretty nice. I would visit here again to try their pizza.

4.5. They had a few vegan choices. The pizza was flavorful with plenty of toppings. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The -.5 stars is because on the chilly night they kept the door open. Otherwise - excellent. Highly recommend.

Are they still dog friendly in 2024? All of the previous answers are 5-7 years old, and they seem to no longer have outdoor tables.

When I visited in early November 2024, dog friendly!

    Does this have outdoor seating?

They do, but it's a small outdoor space with a couple of tables that go fast.

    Do they take reservations?

Not that I know of. But I highly recommend stopping at this place. I went there twice and have never had a long wait

Is this place Dog friendly? Maybe on the patio?

Yes and you can even bring dogs inside. At least when I was there, the guy at cashier told me I can bring dogs inside. I was gonna sit patio but I had dinner with my dogs inside.

    Cocktails served here?

No cocktails. Beer and wine on tap.

The flavor of the food was packed with delicious herbs and spices. Truly a supernova of delicious authentic soul taste. If it were just that, it'd be an easy 5 stars; however, onto the negatives: 1. The shrimp & grits were pretty skimpy on the grits (altho tons of shrimp and delicious sausage in the seafood gumbo. HIGHLY recommend that one) 2. The prices are a bit high, in the $20-$40 range. However, I understand that delivery companies do take a big portion 3. The grubhub page said "not currently accepting orders" while the Uber eats one was accepting them. I asked the owner over text and she said she'd try to fix the grubhub website (I wanted to use grubhub over Uber eats cuz I had a $5 off grubhub coupon). It still wasn't fixed after 15-30 mins so we just gave up and ordered on Uber Eats since we were hungry. Would've been nice to know how long it might take to get it fixed; I was assuming it'd be a quick setting change Note that these guys are delivery/pickup only via Uber Eats or Grubhub and you have to just wait and show up at their house when it's ready. Total miscalibration on my part. Turns out, it's distinctly Danish--and yeah, that actually matters. They serve traditional Danish Rød Pølse alongside a bunch of family-recipe sausages, so you can throw your standard German bratwurst baseline right out the window. The flavor profiles are completely different. If you're going, getting the sausage sampler is the only correct experimental design. You get multiple formulations in the same operating environment for immediate side-by-side comparison. It lets you actually isolate the variables--salt, smoke, spice, fat content, casing snap. Some are super mild, others pack a huge punch. And that massive condiment station? It basically acts as a post-processing module. You're taking the same sausage substrate, altering the surface chemistry with mustard and kraut, and getting a totally different output. But honestly, the best part of this place requires zero scientific analysis: cold beer, hot meat, big bites, repeat. Grabbing a giant pint from their huge tap list and claiming a spot at the outdoor communal tables is just a damn good time. Oh, and definitely integrate the giant pretzel into your system. Salt + starch + beer is a mature technology that's already survived centuries of European process validation. No further optimization required--don't mess with perfection. Don't come here looking for fine dining; evaluating it that way completely misses the point. Come for the sampler, the massive pretzels, and the laid-back Solvang patio vibes. As a platform for eating sausage, drinking beer, and hanging out, it operates at peak efficiency. Dr. C Field Process Validation Sausage Formulation: Multi-Variable Beer Selection: High Throughput German Reference Standard: Rejected Operator Satisfaction: Above Specification

I got excited upon finding this local food business And even more when I was told they have "Jerk chicken" Typically on their menu you can find Jerk pork, jerk chicken and some veggie options Meals are fixed with rice and peas, plantains and cabbage They do tacos too Jerk chicken: Authentic jerk chicken is done on the grill.. A somewhat smoker contraption This is typical in Jamaican restaurants It's spiced heavily so that even off the grill it's ready to be consumed But the majority of places have an additional liquid jerk sauce made from scratch. Scotch bonnet peppers are known to take center stage in the sauce and also in the dry rub for the grilling Fish, tofu, pork, all kinds of meats are done in this style and fashion So now that you know a little on history.. Let's go into the present Some people do jerk chicken in the oven or a combo of the latter with oven.. Kool Runninz is one of them... The spices were there... Friendly enough for the masses of Santa Barbara ( traditional stylee can be unforgivably hot) The chicken I thought was just ok The rice and beans ( in West Indian culture it's called rice and peas) Was good...It's standard to have notes of coconut from coconut milk in the rice along with thyme and possibly peppers The coconut was detectable and I'm a big fan Not a fan of cabbage so I went for extra rice ( shout out to my carb lovers out there) The plantains...ah em... I said the plantains... Wow, I've eaten plantains in different styles Look Runniz is easily in the top 3 of all time.. Crisp edges, chewy ( just enough) inside.. With great texture... Overall I thought they delivered a delicious alternative To my everyday Santa Barbara experience And I'm glad I came across them

Well, to my dismay, I made it back home to Glendale and discovered I did not have my bag with me. I must add that at this point I was about 6 months pregnant and very emotional. I bought this book to read to my daughter after she's born, so it was just really hard for me. We called to ask about the book and spoke to Chuck, one of the managers, who told us they had it. I fully expected to call, learn they had it, and be told I could come pick it up or something, but no--he took it to UPS the next day they were open and shipped it to me. This level of customer service is so refreshing in a day when everyone seems to be in it for themselves. Other patrons were asked if they needed anything.. twice. Finally, I flagged down the waitress for a menu and was guided inside to order my food.
