This was my second time going to IndoViet. Located right on Eastern Avenue in Highlandtown, it's a very busy street. It's shocking so big the restaurant is. It was quite slow when I went - I was the only one in there for at least 30 minutes. It's a big take out restaurant. There's a full bar and lots of seating available. It's not a fancy place, but the food is decent. It's a hodgepodge of menu items however, from curries to Korean food. The pho was fine - they didn't have limes as their accoutrement but they did have limes and the staff was really friendly. I got the combination, I love the meatballs and usually tripe when it's good, it wasn't good here. I will say their fried chicken was so superb - it was super salty, and perfectly fried like only good Asian restaurants can get it. I think I would come back to drink some soju, their alcohol prices were really cheap!

I love it when a city has an Indonesian restaurant. Glad I found IndoViet on this trip. I loved the menu and also the ambiance of the restaurant. Great food! The flavors and aroma bring me back in time, growing up and eating the dishes my grandma and aunties prepared as a child. Too few Indonesian restaurants in the US, Hope that will change. Selamat Makan

Ordered takeout from Indoviet and it never disappoints. The combination pho was rich and comforting, and the fried pork dumplings were crispy perfection. Pro tip: ask for the soy sauce dip; it takes the dumplings to the next level. Perfect meal after a long night out!

Indoviet is consistently one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore and one of the most criminally underrated! I feel like every time I dine in here, it's relatively empty but they have an INSANE amount of to-go orders! I think more people need to experience it in person, especially for the vibes and the fun alcoholic boba drinks! They have so many flavors!! The food is also BOMBBBB. The Bao burger is so unique and delicious. The Singapore noodles are my favorite here. Everything is so flavorful and fresh. Love their corner spot on Eastern so much, love supporting small businesses like them!

IndoViet is a great spot for Vietnamese food. Their banh mi is large, packed with fresh ingredients, and full of flavor. The combination pho was filling, with a rich, well-balanced broth. The staff was friendly and but could be a bit more attentive. atmosphere was clean and casual. Definitely a solid choice for a satisfying meal.

I come here sometimes and I would definitely say, it's one of my favorite spots, beautiful restaurant, vibe and food.

Parking is a little hard as it is a busy street , but you can always call ahead to order and run in and pay. The flavors were overall really good. My only disappointment was the level of fat on every piece of meat. Some pieces were only fat, which I tossed out. The staff was really nice, but it took me a while to order as the first lady didn't seem to speak much English, but still very much tried to help until she eventually went to get help. I would try other dishes if I was in the area.

the food here was fantastic. their portions are gigantic, i had to take most of this food home with me since i couldn't finish it. the service was great. our server was attentive and pleasant to be around. the food came out quick. the interior is pretty nice and cozy as well.

Back again, still AMAZING! I had the stir fry #52 with shrimp, that basil sauce is so packed with flavor, I don't know how they do it but I'm grateful they do. Hopefully I'll be back again soon!!

So I realize that Highlandtown has quite a few dining spots packed within a small (densely populated) community- one being Indoviet. Ginormous space was nicely decorated, but who cares? The food is what it's about. Pretty decent soups, Pad Thai, drinks.

Interior decor and cleanliness was good. Service wasn't bad as well. I had pho. Broth was good. They unfortunately didn't have lime, only lemon for the first, that's different. Toppings in broth was a good amount. Loved the temperature of the soup (steaming hot). Portion size was good. My complaint about my dish, noodles were wayy too cooked. I think all other dishes were good. I heard no complaints.

I have not been to IndoViet in awhile, but now I am back with an updated review. I ordered the steak and meatball pho dish. The quality was not what I was expecting from this business. The broth was not warm enough to necessarily and sufficiently bring out the flavors some would traditionally expect from a bowl of pho. I didn't appreciate lemon replacing lime as a garnish. I also ordered a salted caramel latte. The latte was decent, but I was concerned when told that they never served it hot. To no surprise, the drink was lukewarm. The service was ok. A younger female server took our order, but she didn't seem too friendly; more so apathetic. Our table was not frequented regularly. Although, the male server who brought the coffee was friendly and seemed to pay more attention to detail. I was not awed by the restaurant's ambiance this time. It did not make sense for me to hear sports playing at the bar. If I remember correctly, I was served with nicer bowls from my previous experiences at this business. I left the restaurant with my partner feeling like our patronage was unappreciated. I was disappointed. I can still feel the power and impact a business makes on a consumer, even as a business student. This experience spoke for itself on what impression it left on me. I would also like to impart some of my other impressions: IndoViet comes off as trying to be like one of their local competitors: having a bar and serving primarily Vietnamese dishes. There are a lot of items on the menu. With the quality I experienced, these prices are in no way justified. Perhaps consider downsizing the menu and developing core competencies that are original, then the prices will be justified. I have had their laksa and pho before and was impressed, I am not sure has happened.

A wonderful and welcome addition to the neighborhood! We've both dined in and ordered out. The food has been consistently delicious and fresh. Highly suggest partaking in whatever specials they're offering but the regular menu items (Bao, Bahn Mi, etc) are also quite good! The space is large, clean and welcoming. Friendly staff too. I look forward to many return visits at Indoviet!

Fried tofu banh mi.   Look at that!! It's filled to the max with tofu and veggies!

Since Indonesian food isn't easy to find in the DMV, I'm really grateful to have Artha Rini so close to home. The restaurant itself is small, casual, and welcoming, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly. I ordered the Soto Ayam, and it was exactly what I was hoping for--warm, comforting, and flavorful without needing to add much of anything. My wife had the Pecel Lele, which was tasty, though the fish was just a little overcooked. My only other minor complaint is that I wish the portions were a bit larger. One thing to note is that the menu leans pretty heavily on coconut milk, which can be tricky for my wife because she has a sulfite allergy. What really impressed us, though, was Artha herself. She patiently answered all of our questions and even told us that if we call ahead, she'll source the one brand of coconut milk that doesn't contain sulfites so she can prepare dishes my wife can safely enjoy. That level of care and customer service is hard to find these days, and it's more than enough reason for us to keep coming back. We're excited to work our way through the rest of the menu.

The restaurant is small and humble, more similar to a cafe style than full service. There was a server taking our order and bringing the food to us, but we grabbed our own waters and paid at the counter. RICE PLATTER (3 ITEMS) - 15.75 + rendang, grilled chicken, sweet & spicy anchovies and peanut Not a whole lot of "items" but an overwhelming amount of rice. The beef rendang was a bit oily, but flavorful and tender. The grilled chicken was incredibly dry and unappetizing. I loved the sweet & spicy anchovies and peanut, which was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Overall, disappointed with the lack of protein. In this economy, the pricing was relative affordable with most entrees under $20. My friend got the NASI KUNING, which was only a few bucks more than my rice platter, but it had a lot more food and variety. The turmeric rice was fragrant, like a spiced jasmine-flavored rice. The rice chips she didn't want (that I helped eat) were great.
