I love coming up here! The grounds are just beautiful and they have such a great selection of ciders. The facilities are clean, staff are great, and they have a cute little gift shop where you can buy snacks or items . Or, if you want, you can get food off of the food truck they have parked out front or bring your own food for a picnic! They have a large area with picnic tables and Adirondack chairs, corn hole, a large grassy area, and you can even do some light hiking! They also have a lot of events up here to add in some extra fun. This is definitely a place we will continue to frequent!

Came here for a bachelorette and had such a great time! Chris helped us out at the bar and gave us samples when asked. He described each cider flavor to a tee! I ended up getting the flight and my favorite was the organic cider. After we had some snack in the table area outside and sipped for a little bit, Chris brought us to the barrel room for brandy tasting and then another small tasting room for the cello tastings. Chris was very knowledgeable and gave us great backstory on the brewery, as well as their process of making their products. We had such a great time celebrating our bride at such a beautiful place. The vibes were great, the area was clean and well taken care of, and all the staff were incredible. Even found a cute tie dye shirt in the gift shop which has lots of artisan makers and brewery merch. Thank you Chris for making this trip extra special! I truly can't wait to come back.

This visit was a highlight of our trip to Sonora. $10 for a tasting of all their ciders on tap currently, the Barrel Aged was our favorite. The tasting was pretty casual with us standing at the bar. There is a tasting for their liquors where they take you to special barrel rooms. We decided to do the one free taste per person for the liquors, and still got to see the special rooms. We purchased pours of our favorite ciders for a reasonable price and sat outside in an area with lots of picnic tables. It would be a great place to bring a picnic to enjoy alongside some cider. A very friendly cidery cat visited us. The coolest thing about this place is that they offer a wealth of trails and a disc golf course to the community for free. It was raining off and on so we didn't explore too much, but we did walk about 5-10 minutes to a clearing where people bring and leave garden gnomes which was very cute. I would come back to explore more. Note that when you're driving here it really feels like you've gone down the wrong road and some of the signage is unclear. However, Google Maps will get you to the right place, it's just a bit of a drive off the main road.

We had the best time! A friend shared the Black Berry cider growler with us previously and since then we looked forward to visiting ourselves. We shared a tasting and then each bought a glass to enjoy over a picnic. The tasting room gals were all great and attentive. They gave us a map and we enjoyed a long walk before our tasting. The grounds are lovely and the tasting room was welcoming. I loved the Extra Crisp and my husband had the Extra Crisp mixed with the Bubbly to cut the sugar. We are looking forward to returning when we are in the area

Stopped for bbq on the way here for a picnic at mean Lew's.

Been coming here for years. Cider is awesome. Ended up getting a flight and it was so worth it. Gift room is super cool and there's plenty of parking and picnic areas. Make sure to tip the bartenders. Their service is awesome.

Indigeny Reserve is hidden right in the middle of the apple groves behind Sonora. Pulling up after crossing a wooden bridge feels like discovering a secret worth keeping--but I have to share this one! We arrived during their Harvest Festival, and the energy was incredible. The tasting room was packed with people, the outdoor pumpkin patch was buzzing, and despite being close to closing time, the whole place radiated that perfect autumn festival vibe. The grounds are beautifully set up with plenty of parking and ample space to sit outside and actually enjoy your drink in the crisp air. The cider itself is what makes this place unmissable. We skipped the full tasting flight and went straight for glasses at $8 each, sampling the Pumpkin Spice, the Organic, and the Pineapple. Every single one delivered this razor-sharp crispness --it genuinely tastes like they bottled up the clean, cool mountain air outside. The Pumpkin Spice was a masterclass in seasonal flavor: balanced, not overly sweet, just pure autumn in a glass. If you appreciate cider that tastes like it came straight from the source--because it did--make the trip. This hidden gem is worth the drive through the apple groves.

This one will be a relatively brief one because I'm not super experienced in ciders. Anyways we came out here for a friend's birthday. They had a cute little picnic area with a decent number of tables and seats which were shaded but some large trees. For food there was a food truck posted up in the same area. I don't technically know if this is considered a brewery or if they have a specific term for places that do ciders but for all intents and purposes it's a cider brewery. They have a tasting room and a barrel room too. While I'm not a cider guy, I can still say for the most part that I enjoyed the experience. Also have a cute little gift shop too. Side note, kind of felt like the person serving us was kind of rushing us through the tasting.

Indigeny Reserve is an absolute treasure! Nestled in the beautiful foothills near Sonora, this place offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, delicious cider, and a welcoming atmosphere. The moment you arrive, you're greeted by lush orchards and a peaceful setting that makes you want to stay all day. Their cider selection is fantastic--smooth, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweetness and crispness. Whether you're a fan of traditional apple cider or prefer something with a little twist, they have something for everyone. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to offer tastings and recommendations. The picnic areas and walking trails make it a great spot for a relaxing afternoon with family or friends. If you're in the area, Indigeny Reserve is a must-visit. Great drinks, stunning scenery, and a laid-back vibe--what more could you ask for?

Delicious ciders on tap, cool trails, gorgeous orchards, and friendly people, what's not to love?! Bring your mountain bike, play a round of disc golf, have a picnic under an oak, play cornhole, reserve the tables for a special event, order a hamburger, wander the orchards on foot, and try a sampler flight of everything on tap...you'll have an absolutely perfect day at Indigeny Reserve :)

Amazing place on the outskirts of Sonora. They have a great selection of ciders, peaceful to sit out and just relax and enjoy your glass. Picnic tables, or you can bring your own chair and sit under the trees You got a big glass cider for 8$

Ask the Community - Indigeny Reserve

What foods are available?

Sometimes they have food trucks, but not the day that I went. So don't plan on getting food there. I had heard there were food trucks so I didn't bring food and got very hungry. This was very disappointing because I don't like apple cider or hard…

What would this place be like on a rainy day? It is supposed to rain a lot tomorrow and we are trying to figure out if there would be anything to do here. Is there indoor tours?

Is it dog friendly?

Yes, dogs are allowed outside on a leash.

Again Ponderosa staff friendly and helpful in letting us know the space we squeezed into would be OK to park in. Dog friendly a bonus for us. I got a nice flight. I love a sampler pack. My favorite ciders were the "Goldilocks" and the "Peach Ginger." I got some of those to take home for my daughter to try. The "Trouble Maker" had a great flavor, but it's not carbonated. I believe…read morethat Nitty's is easily becoming an iconic location (if it isn't already!) that exemplifies what I love about Sacramento. It is family-friendly, in a great area, affordably priced, makes a great product, and is still weird. First, Nitty's is known for their cider, which can be found at other great businesses that sell alcohol. BUT you should absolutely come to their retail location because they have a plethora of unique and weird flavors constantly rotating. I remember one time they had an ube cider, which I appreciate as a Filipino AND it was delicious! In addition to their cider, they also brew some pretty solid beers. While I don't find their beers to be the best to be had for a local brewer, they are still delicious and hit the spot when you want a change of pace from ciders. I mentioned family-friendly at the beginning of this review, and while that may be a turn off for some people I would highly recommend you check out Nitty's regardless. The back half of the cidery has a small arcade, but the real deal is upfront. Everyone I have taken to Nitty's becomes absolutely giddy when I let them know that Nitty's has skeeball (4 units) and they also have a competitive skeeball team! I believe Wednesdays and Thursdays are skee free so you can enjoy a pint and play skeeball with your friends or fly solo as I often do! Nitty's is also has a great outdoor patio area with misters during the warmer months and beautiful art murals all around the bar. Everyone I have met and talked to at Nitty's, patron and employee, have been super cool and welcoming. Definitely come check out Nitty's if you've been looking for a bar to call home.

Our first stop was Boa Vista, where we headed straight to the pumpkin patch. There were so many pumpkins in different shapes and sizes! Prices ranged from about $8 to $20, depending on the size you choose. There are also little shops across the street and a BBQ spot right across from the pumpkin patch. From Boa Vista, we drove about a mile to High Hill. High Hill is bigger and has even more little vendors to explore. There's a pony ride for the kids, a pond where you can fish or simply sit back and relax, a fudge factory, and shops selling beer and cider. Of course, we couldn't leave without treating ourselves to some goodies! My husband got a slice of apple pie, and I got a cinnamon donut. Both were delicious! The entire area smelled like cinnamon and apples, which instantly reminded us that fall is finally here. The weather was absolutely perfect, with crisp air and everyone dressed in their favorite fall outfits. It was such a beautiful day to walk around, enjoy the scenery, and make memories with our corgi. We were lucky enough to find parking at both locations, but I highly recommend coming early! After 11 a.m., the traffic was terrible, and parking spots became hard to find. If you haven't visited Apple Hill, I definitely recommend adding Boa Vista and High Hill to your fall bucket list. Whether you're going for the pumpkins, delicious treats, little shops, or just to enjoy the fall atmosphere, there's something for everyone. And if you have a furry friend, it can be a fun outing for them, too!

The potatoes were fine, nothing super exciting. Not sure I would go back to this farm stand, although I would not be opposed to visiting the Orchard. Maybe a little bit earlier in the season would be better.
