The food and service here is so friendly. Everyone greeted my bother and I with so much hospitality. The food is delicious and came out very quickly. We ordered some fish curries and they were delicious. Park in the building they validate.

after only ordering delivery from this place for years, finally decided to actually dine IRL at the actual the restaurant. turns out it's tucked inside this building i always assumed was just offices... it's not. (obvi lol.) parking was a breeze and best news is... they validate! we love being validated. i know it's not the most traditional pick, but i looOoOoove cheese naan. both the plain and garlic were packed with flavor. chicken tikka was rich & cozy, as was the shrimp. not the samosas (not pictured) rocked our world. we had lots of leftovers & of course, it only got better with time. how? lol the waiters are so nice and the service was prompt. over a great, welcoming vibe! will def return next time i'm craving indian food.

Well now, I do declare, it ain't every Saturday night in Los Angeles where a man can sit himself down and feel like he's traveled not just across time zones but across time itself. But that's exactly what happened to me when I tucked into the Royal Vegetarian Dinner at India's Grill. The tray arrived -- a modest metal affair, gleaming with purpose -- and I tell you, it filled me with the same kind of quiet joy as finding a letter from an old friend in the mailbox. Everything you needed was right there in one neat parcel: creamy Shahi Paneer (sweet as a whisper, rich as a preacher), two hearty vegetables stewed with care, perfect white rice, a generous slab of garlic naan, and a cucumber salad that cooled the tongue like a gentle breeze through a Tennessee porch. Now I asked for spicy -- and it was, sure enough -- but it could've stood to kick a bit harder. I ain't complaining, mind you. It had enough heat to let me know it was awake, and that'll suit most folks fine. If you're faint of tongue, they'll surely temper it for you like a blacksmith with a baby's rattle. The portion? Just right. Not the bloated extravagance you find at them brassy joints that value spectacle over soul, no sir. This was a working man's supper with the dignity of restraint and the kindness of value. A fine deal at around twenty dollars, and I washed it down with a proud Kingfisher beer -- cold, tall, and glad to see me. The space itself? Friendly as a front porch light left on late. A few tables outside to catch the Wilshire breeze, a few inside near a television just big enough to remind you of home, but not so big as to shout over your thoughts. So whether you're wandering in after a long day roaming the boulevards of Los Angeles or need something in your belly before a night of mischief and wonder, I'd tip my hat to India's Grill. Quiet, comforting, and grateful to serve you -- a rare trinity in these loud and hurried times. And if you're ever near Wilshire, away from the clang of Hollywood and the grind of downtown, you could do worse than sit a spell here. I surely was thankful I did.

This place is legit. Came here on a Monday afternoon when the place was fully empty but the server was super nice. Amazing food! Chicken Vindaloo was delicious as was the Tikka and the naan.

This is an authentic Indian restaurant in Brentwood, located on the second floor, so you get somewhat of a view if you sit by the window. Their papadum was delicious, and their onion bhaji was even better. Amazingly seasoned, crunchy batter on the outside and soft on the inside. They're served with tamarind sauce. I recommend the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala: white tender pieces of chicken in a creamy tomato sauce. Only downside is you have to order a side of rice - it seems no dish comes with a side of rice anymore. The atmosphere was great, they played Indiana music to set the vibes. The food came surprisingly fast and fresh - great staff!

First time here at Sham's India's Oven. My friend works in this medical building and recommended having dinner here. The restaurant validates parking if you park in the building. Entrance to the parking is from Barry, just north of Wilshire. It is a bit tricky to find. We shared the Onion Bhaji as an appetizer as well as Spinach Naan. We enjoyed these! We all enjoyed our food, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and a vegetarian dinner set! The staff tonight did not wear a uniform, so I wasn't sure who was staff or a guest ( thus the 4 stars) . I saw a few Take Out orders, which was good, because on a Tuesday evening, it wasn't busy. I always like to support local small businesses. View from the restaurant is of Wilshire. Interior is very nice!

A good, honest restaurant and business, which is rare in LA these days. I walked down there tonight and can confirm that the place is closed and the inside is being cleared out. Not sure why, but since there have been other locations around the LA area over the past several years, maybe they're just moving again. I wish them all the best! This time, I went with the Anwar Style Chicken Shawarma to try something new. The portion size alone is impressive. The container is packed and feels substantial the moment you pick it up. The base is a bed of fries, and these are not just filler. They are thick, well seasoned, and sturdy enough to handle all the toppings without turning into a soggy mess. On top of the fries is a generous amount of chicken. The chicken tastes freshly cooked, with that warm, savory flavor you expect from good shawarma, never dry and never overly salty. There are pita chips mixed in, which add a great crunch and texture against the fries and chicken. Multiple sauces are drizzled throughout the dish. I chose a side of their spicy sauce. The creamy white sauce balances things out, while the orange sauce brings a mild heat and a little extra depth. None of the sauces overpower the dish, they work together to coat everything evenly and keep every bite flavorful. Diced tomatoes and corn adds a touch of sweetness that surprisingly works really well here. A sprinkle of herbs throughout helps brighten everything up and keeps the dish from feeling too heavy, even though it is definitely filling. This is comfort food done right. It is messy in the best way, packed with flavor, at least to me it was. If you are looking for something hearty, satisfying, and consistently well made, I will always recommend Anwar's Kitchen. Anwar's Kitchen delivers quality food, and I will keep ordering from them.

Why overpay at places like Raffi's Place, where the food feels overpriced without showing where the extra money went? The only downside was that the waitress pushed an appetizer on us twice when we really didn't need it. Two entrées are more than enough to fill you up. We started with those super delicate pani puri style poppers. I've seen them on MasterClass and always wanted to try them, so finally getting them here was a moment. Service was great. The bartender and server were both super knowledgeable and helped guide us through everything, which made a big difference with a menu like this. The ambience is beautiful. Big bar in the back, great lighting, a mix of natural and more moody tones that make it feel elevated but still comfortable. For mains, the pot pies are a must. We tried the biryani and the butter chicken versions, completely different but both worth it. Portions are huge, you will have leftovers. The quesadilla with fajita peppers and tandoori chicken was such a cool fusion idea and worked really well. The boneless truffle chicken had this creamy, almost alfredo style sauce with Indian spices that made it super unique. Ended with the saffron noodle pistachio ice cream dessert and that was unlike anything I've had before. Definitely something you try at least once. I love how big the naan is that they give you. They make it fresh too. Even though I've tried a bunch of their skewers, this time I tried the fish karahi, which came with my choice of naan or rice. I chose naan. It was really good but it was a little too spicy for me. The cashier told me they could add yogurt the next time around. However, what really stood out is how the fish was cooked. I feel in American restaurants, fish is just cooked in a way that makes it just taste ok. However, at like Chinese restaurants, they really know how to make the fish taste amazing and have it be so plump and juicy. They make their fish like that here! The juicy and plump way where you're just like, "Wow I just want to keep eating this!" I also got a chicken roll too which is fried and crispy. Good appetizer.
