    Butter naan
    Carolina S.

This place is easy to miss, it's located next to the liquor store and behind a pizza place. Parking situation is bad! There are only about 5-6 spots up front and the next building over has a tow sign on it. We looped around about 5 times before a spot opened up out front. Another very strange thing is the bathroom is located through the kitchen, I've never in my life walked through a restaurant kitchen just to go to the bathroom. Moving on to the actual food. We ordered two mango lassis, they weren't fresh and tasted a bit water down. We then ordered butter naan, garlic naan, samosa chaat, butter chicken, lamb korma, plain basmati rice and aloo matar vegetables. All the food was delicious and just the way I love! Great food!

Came here with a friend for dinner on a Sunday evening and the experience overall was good. The place is basically no-frills and not fancy at all, but not janky either. Service was friendly and prompt. We ordered garlic naan, basmati rice, chicken tikka masala, and the malai kofta. While I found everything to be fairly tasty.. I think a 4.8/5 overall is pretty high. Maybe I need to try new things there when I pay a visit next time. I also found the price point to be a bit high too honestly. I don't think it warranted a 4/5 so I still rounded up, but I think there's other Indian places I'd like to try still!

I returned to tandoori eats for lunch, I got the chicken saag and the tandoori chicken masala vindaloo. I also got the mint and tamarind chutneys. The saag was fantastic as it was the last time the masala was perfectly spiced. Both the dishes were filled with a lot of moist and tender chicken. The Mint chutney was especially good, with a hint of lemon. The tamarind was lightly sweet with a thinner base. The service was quick and friendly as usual. I love this place!

Perfect experience. Our server was so sweet and we were seated immediately. The food was quick and it was absolutely delicious. The owner or chef came out towards the end of the meal and checked in with us. He was wonderful. Probably the best Indian food I've had in Los Angeles. I will go back and explore more of the menu!!

My partner and I were craving Indian food and this definitely was a great spot to try out!! Their Mixed Grill plate came out sizzling, charring tons of onions and a delicious mix of shrimp, lamb, and tandoori chicken. That was definitely a great deal and more than enough for two people. The bhindi masala (okra), chicken biryani, chicken makhani, and garlic naan were perfectly seasoned. Service was also great--the owners checked on us frequently which was a nice touch since they were cooking in kitchen as well. Super excited to return to try out more items on their menu.

I've passed by Tandoori Eats numerous times and had been curious to give it a try. I finally got to give it a go recently, ordering take-out to go. The restaurant is quite spacious and empty when I went to pick up, but to be fair, I went in the mid-afternoon just before it was to close until dinnertime-- I assume that Tandoori Eats gets busier during their peak lunch and dinner hours. I ordered an assortment of dishes, including chicken tikka masala (medium spicy), samosas, and garlic naan. Everything was flavorful, smooth, and delicious-- the only thing is that the chicken tikka masala wasn't very spicy for medium level, and I would've loved to have had a bit more kick to it. All the same, the food was solid and portions were generous, enough for three meals! Definitely would recommend Tandoori Eats to try if you're in the area!

Wow. This place is one of the best Indian meals I've ever had. First, the malai kofta. This is exactly why you ask for recommendations. The waitress, who is also the owner, suggested it and it completely stole the show. The kofta were soft potato, vegetable, and paneer balls in the most insanely flavorful, creamy sauce. Rich, perfectly spiced, and honestly mind blowing. I've never had anything like it. It was even better than the butter chicken. We did order butter chicken as our baseline and it was a solid 8 out of 10. Super flavorful curry, juicy tender chicken, plus fresh naan and fluffy basmati rice to soak everything up. But seriously, don't just default to the usual. Ask what they recommend and try something new. We're definitely coming back for the kofta again.

No explanation needed! Total Annihilation. Nothing left, but a few grains of rice, I was saddened to leave behind

Had an amazing dinner at Tandoori Eats. The chicken biryani was incredibly aromatic and perfectly spiced, the butter chicken was rich, creamy, and comforting, and the goat achari curry had an authentic tangy depth that was unforgettable. Excellent service and truly authentic flavors -- highly recommend!

So good!!! Truly authentic Indian restaurant. And the owner was so so nice! Very well spiced. Goat biryani was amazing! And chicken tikka masala was perfectly spiced!

This place right here all gas, no brakes. Five stars, all the way. From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the butter chicken and a side of vegetables--both were seasoned to perfection. When they asked me how spicy I wanted it, I knew I was in the right spot. You could tell they really care about how they prepare their food. I added two samosas to the order solid. And that garlic naan? Whew. Garlic flavor was on point not overpowering, just right. Took it all home, pictured below. And let me tell you, the portions were generous. I got two meals out of it. I put a video below to see restuarant. This is the best indian food I have ever eaten hand down again ALL GAS NO BREAKS!!!

The King Reigns. I've been trying Indian spots all over LA for years now, and I'm ready to call TE the GOAT. I was ready on first bite four years ago to be fair, but now we got the stats. Furthermore I just got delivery down to Torrance which took 90+ minutes and it still banged just as hard. Portions still the biggest, cost still as good as it gets, and the flavors are outta this world. Never change TE!

Food: We ordered lamb biryani, chicken tikka, palak paneer, and garlic naan. The lamb in our biryani was perfect, and the rice was also aromatic and flavorful. I'm so glad I ordered this; highly recommended! I also enjoyed having the creamy chicken tikka masala poured over my biryani; what an amazing combination! My husband and I are always fans of palak paneer and garlic naan. Service: Good and attentive. Ambiance: Casual

Delicious and authentic Indian food…read more My friend and I were seated quickly and our order was taken. Food was brought as it was ready. They forgot to bring the paneer dish we ordered but once we asked about it, they made sure to get it to us quickly and with a new basket of warm naan. The mango lassi was amazing. I absolutely loved the paneer butter masala and garlic naan. I will be coming back for those. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the veggie samosas had a nice crunch. Lots of families come here to eat. This is the type of restaurant I would feel comfortable dining at alone as the waiters are very attentive and kind.

This is a completely vegetarian restaurant…read more I came here to get their spinach masala dosa because I love my spinach masala dosa from my favorite South Indian restaurant near home and I REALLY wanted to try someone else's version. We soon found out that their dosas are not gluten free. This was a really big bummer. But...good to know for anyone who is gluten free. They do put wheat flour into their dosas. We changed our order to two vegetables dishes. We ordered Bhindi (okra) fry and Saag Aloo (creamy puréed spinach with potatoes. My husband ordered a chili garlic naan. Both dishes came with a hearty amount of basmati rice. While we waited for our food, I noticed the restaurant was full of Indian people and a sprinkling of other people (including me) which I think is always a good sign when I'm ordering Indian food. True to my observation...Annapurna did not disappoint. The saag aloo was perfectly spiced and flavored and I really enjoyed the meal. The Bhindi was also very good. My only complaint is that the leftovers for the Bhindi were rather sparse! So overall i think they did a good job. I was disappointed about the glutinous dosas -- i called to double check and my favorite dosa place back home does not have gluten in its dosas. So key is always ask and don't assume there's no gluten. Even though i couldn't have the dosa, i still really enjoyed my meal. I didn't dock any points for the lack of gluten free dosa batter because my food was still very good and I felt like i wasn't missing anything. The service was very good. I want to give a shout out to Rush who was our waiter and was very helpful throughout the night. Parking lot was full. We found side street parking fairly easy.

The food takes a while to come, the reason being that everything is very clearly being made to order. You can taste it, fresh ginger, warm spices, etc. Even the bread: homemade and just baked! It is for this reason that I'd advise not going there if you're in a rush. Plan on a leisurely lunch or dinner; you'll find it worth the wait. I wish I could give this place more stars. The combination of friendship and delicious dishes delivered by Almost famous was soul-warming. Metered street parking only unfortunately, but service at the restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly, courteous, patient, and were happy to go through the menu and make recommendations. You can tell they take pride in their dishes offered. They will check-in enough to ensure everything with the dining experience is going well, but not too frequently to impede on privacy. They have a breakfast/lunch (brunch) menu that they serve from 8am up until 2pm and a dinner menu that is available from 11am to 2pm & 5pm to 9:30pm. 1. Ginger & Cardamom Chai Latte (5/5) House-made chai with ginger and cardamom. If you like herbal spices, this drink was comforting and warming. It's not sweet, which I like and it paired well with the food dishes. 2. Crab Bhuna (4.75/5) Crab meat simmered in fragrant spices then topped with ginger, fennel seed, and curry leaves. It is served with soft, subtly sweet banana buns The crab meat was fresh and honestly, you couldn't even tell it's crab. It's seasoned perfectly with the aromatic Indian spices. The banana buns were interesting ... it was a bit on the dry side, but if you stuffed the airy pockets of the bun with the crab meat, it's not too bad. The banana bun had an interesting flavor profile; a mix of sweet-bitterness to it. 3. Sweet Potato Chaat (5/5) One of my favorite dishes here. It is sweet potato chunks mixed with a sauce blend of sweet corn, yogurt, tamarind, mint chutney and pomegranate. The sauce was light, refreshing, and tangy, balancing the natural sweetness of the sweet potato perfectly. 4. Brunch Dosa Rice & Lentil Crepe (4.75/5) Basically think of a crepe, but a super large size one. I just love their crepe - it was crispy yet doughy with a cheesy flavor. The crepe was stuffed with turmeric mashed potatoes. I typically do not like mash potatoes, but when it's served this way, I approve. The dish comes with a side of 3 sauces - sambar (lentil-based vegetable curry that's often seasoned with coriander seeds, cumin, fenugreek, dry red chilies), curry, coconut and tomato chutney. A perfect dish for sharing and for trying out the various flavors of Indian cuisine. 5. Wagyu Beef Keema Kulcha (4.5/5) Minced Wagyu beef that's seasoned well with aromatic spices and onion inside an Indian leavened flat bread. Highly recommend and will be back to try out other dishes!
