Most of these restaurants have been in large cities because that is where my travels have taken me But I have found the best Indian restaurant that I have ever visited--and it wasn't in a big city, but in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. A small place in a strip mall called Cafe India. Everything was perfect. Every appetizer. Every entree. Every piece of roti and naan. Trust me on this one: if you love Indian food and are you within 50 miles of this place it's worth a special visit. My son lives in Gettysburg and now I have an extra reason to visit him! I used to come here a lot for their lunch buffet. Then after sometime, I visited here again for lunch and was surprised that lunch buffet is no longer on the table. For main course, I opted for Chicken Pasanda. Light on the spiciness but still very tasty with big chunks of chicken that tasted like it had been in the sauce for a bit. Creamy and tasty curry. Food verdict: Chicken 65 is off the chain and a must try. I honestly still can't stop thinking about it. The Butter Chicken was more on the sweeter side than what I prefer, but still very good. The Kati Roll is MASSIVE and appears big enough to feed a family of 4- very nicely flavored and the chicken was very tender. Bullet Naan with cheese and jalapeño = fantastic. Our waiter, who I assume is the owner, was very attentive to our table. I ordered the Chicken Dhaniya Wala, a chicken dish in a cilantro curry sauce. It was excellent and the portion was large! Their Naan bread also tastes fresh and much better than the prepackaged stuff in the grocery stores.
