That said, I wouldn't fault the restaurant for the spice level itself--medium spicy can vary from person to person. Next time, I'll definitely go for the spicy level instead. I also ordered the Kheer (rice pudding dessert). One thing I've learned about kheer is that every restaurant has its own twist, and I really appreciate Sitar's version. The key things I look for are the texture of the rice and the creaminess of the sauce--and thankfully, Sitar nailed both. It was balanced, smooth, and comforting.

The chicken is tender and soft. The interior is dimly lit and more soothing. The staff is attentive and plentiful. There are several people constantly walking around that can help you. All of their chicken dishes are dark meat, which is not the Indian way, but they're likely catering to non-South Asians who prefer thigh or leg. The food was still great and everything was outstanding. However what they could use is a lunch menu. Offering a dinner entrée for lunch was a bit much both in terms of food and cost. $30 plus for lunch is a bit picky for this area. It's something I would do once in a blue moon but I won't be a regular. A smaller reasonably priced lunch menu would go a long way to bringing people in a little more often. A slight downgrade to 4 stars for the lack of reasonably priced reasonably portioned lunch.
