Yelp had great reviews. We gave it a try. Mine is pretty huge... With lots of Asian fusion type dishes. Stopped in for dinner only one person was working, typical Chinese restaurant. Seated us... Offered us drinks... Which are like cans and bottled water. I usually get Singapore, Mei fun, they didn't have it on the menu, but they made it for me! Food was good, food was plentiful - ambience wasn't great. Mostly all booths. I guess the tables had seen better days and we were removed?? Not the cleanest vibe around... But when you get two meals for the price of one, you can't complain too loudly. read more

Umm ..umm good! Pad Thia and shrimp cooked fresh. Service was good. Restaurant clean The waitress was attentive. I asked for water and lemon with my meal and got bottled water. Also receive a side of lemons and cup. The meal was priced $12.50 which I thought was a good price. I will come again to try their other meals. read more

Best Chinese food in Shippensburg. The family that runs it is extreme nice as well. The food is always hot when I pick it up. They don't deliver, but you can eat inside or order for pick up. It's ready in a decent time. read more

I really wanted to like this place. We decided to dine in. The restaurant was empty except for a child of the owner coughing heavily in the dining area while we were eating. The food is ok. Egg roll was so greasy, I couldn't eat it. Beef and broccoli was average. Rice was dry. The restaurant was dim and cold. The bathroom had no soap or toilet paper and was so dirty. read more

Excellent Meal!!! We stopped into the "Asian Taste" restaurant in Shippensburg for a late lunch today (09/30/22). Our meals were absolutely DELICIOUS! We had Cheeseburger Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoon for appetizers which were spectacular. Our main meals included Chicken Pad Thai and Szechuan Chicken. Again, both were delicious and seasoned & cooked perfectly. We brought food home as it was wonderfully filling. We highly recommend "Asian Taste" for a delightful meal. Whilst we had our meal inside the restaurant, we noticed there was a huge amount of "Take Out". That says something about how good the food is. We'll be back for sure! read more

Bleh. Ordered Pad Thai...as another reviewer said, it tasted like watered down ketchup. Usually we keep the leftovers. This time they all went in the trash. Pork dumplings had a strange flavor. Spring rolls tasted like they came from the frozen foods section. Just not good. Which is a shame, really. The previous owner of this location knew what they were doing. I cannot say enough great things about this place. We were so happy we stop to eat here. The place is not fancy but all the food was very fresh. The hot and sour soup had great flavor and the wonton soup had tons of wontons. We had the chicken with mushrooms, fried dumplings and shrimp egg foo young. If your nearby stop you won't be disappointed. They do a great job and don't skimp on quality. read more

Asian Taste is my new go-to for GREAT Chinese. Most Chinese places have wonton soup. They're okay. China Taste has excellent wonton soup! I could eat a quart all by myself. Their combo plates and entrees are superior. Tonight I decided to get a healthy option - steamed brocolli and shrimp with garlic sauce on the side. OMG. Garlic sauce was so tasty with out being cloying. Shrimp were huge and plentiful. Go there. You'll be glad you did! read more

I ordered spicy shrimp sauce and lo mein. What I got was some type of sweet shrimp with white rice. The spring rolls are greasy and it took them over an hour to deliver my food. The steamed dumplings were especially good and the other dishes were very solid. My daughter was quite happy with her shrimp with broccoli. The Szechuan beef had a nice variety of vegetables. Decided to try out this restaurant as my usual favorite in town has been so-so lately. Got shrimp and veggies, shrimp fried rice, egg drop soup, and egg rolls. Rice was a bit bland, but well cooked and still good. The sauce on my shrimp and veggies was delicious. Egg rolls were the best I've had in ages. Haven't touched the egg drop soup yet, but I'm certain it's good too. Very fair pricing, and when I went to pick up my order, the restaurant seemed clean and well maintained. Won't ever come back, won't be recommending this place to anyone, the coconut chicken was in a slimy white sauce, and tasted nothing like coconut, and had a taste of food thickner or cornstarch??? I couldn't even choke it down if I wanted too!!! And my husband didn't like his Orange chicken either, and he's got an Iron stomach and not picky at all, eats everything, but said the chicken tasted funny. There's better food out there! read more

I got the chicken pad Thai, wonton soup and sweet and sour chicken and they were all hot and ready when I came in to pick them up. I also got a Chinese New Year calendar which was a really nice surprise! (I'm sure they only do that around the end of the year though) read more

Overall experience was just terrible would not recommend, I got the Mongolian Beef an it didn't even seemed cooked just very bland ended up taking one bite and returning the food for my money back! My family and I visited Asian Taste last night and the food was really good. I had the shrimp red curry and the rest of my family had the hibachi and it was also really good. My only complaint about the food was that some of the dishes were a little to sweet. The curry sauces was good, especially with the pineapple, but the sauce was a little to sweet. Also, the cheese won-tons were a little sweet. The service was a little slow as well, but all in all it was good. I was expecting the curry to be a little more spicy. We will be back!! read more

Went back over the weekend with friends. The beef anf scallops was pretty good with a nice sauce. Wife had the green curry beef and it turned out to be a soup, which is unusual but tasted very good. The hot and sour soup wasn't as sour as I have had at other places, but was tasty. read more

March, 2018. My wife and I went for an early supper. The hostess graciously served Orange Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, steamed white rice and two soups. Food was excellent and prices are reasonable. The meals here are consistently good. We will be back. Love this place. read more

The service was very friendly when we arrived to pick up our order. We ordered $73 worth of grub and every bit of it was piping hot and delicious! The meat was tender in our meat orders. We got orange chicken, sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, and pork/mushrooms. The vegetables were refreshing and the meat was evenly coated with smooth, delightful sauces. The portions were worth their prices. We also ordered fried chicken wings, spring rolls, beef lo mein (one of my favorite items of the night), egg drop soup (piping hot with plenty of egg), and fried rice. The fried rice was a tad greasy for my taste, but it was definitely still delicious. The spring rolls lacked a bit of flavor, but again, were fresh and not overly greasy. Overall, the restaurant was clean, the food was worth it, and we will definitely eat here again! We even got a complimentary order of Chinese sugar doughnuts. :-) It's Americanized Chinese food done right! read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time. I can't say I am pleased by the food we received for the price paid. I got two combination platters and asked that one of the pork fried rice be changed to shrimp. That change cost an extra $2+ and I only got 3 measly shrimps. I think that's ridiculous.
