The most mediocre/tasteless Indian food you could eat. I have been with my partner for over 11 years who is Indian so I know what good Indian food is. Aside that in general if you have good taste to you won't come here. If it's hot they don't have AC. The lady is really nice I'll give her that. But the food. 0/10 The "butter chicken" had ZERO flavor if you could even call it that. The "chicken" biriyani is had no chicken and tasteless. Go to a different Indian restaurant because this place is NOT IT. Absolutely not worth coming here $80 for this was beyond a waste of money.

I give it a 3.9 - 4 stars. We had a table of 7 for dinner tonight. Upon entry we were seated pretty quick, restaurant was empty. Seemed like the AC wasn't on or working cause we had a fan facing our table to provide some coolness. Our server was trying the best she could with being quick and efficient, but unfortunately she seemed to be the only one working. The food came out kinda slow from time to time, but tasted pretty good although the medium heat was NOT medium. Beverages got warm and ice melted way too quick. It's hard to be comfortable when you're wiping sweat off yourself when eating, especially Indian food. Also shoo-ing off flies cause the front door was open. Oh and, someone was messing with the music or was connected to Bluetooth, so every 2 seconds, you hear the text notification go off. THEN apparently the owners brother was "testing" out the sound system for someone that was gonna rent the place out, so the music would blare so loud. Like hello, you have customers dining! How inconsiderate. Maybe will go again..

We ordered samosas, aloo tikki, butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, goat punjabi curry, 3 orders of rice (because rice is not included with the curry orders), garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Everything here is made to order, make sure you specify the spice level. Samosas and aloo tikki were delicious and tasted as expected. The butter chicken here was so good. The chicken was extremely tender and the sauce was rich. For the tikka masala and punjabi curry, we were unsure which was which. Both had a lighter sauce consistency, the goat however was extremely chewy. Garlic naan was good but I wish it was softer, it tasted similar to a flat bread because although it was very thin it was also dense. Mango lassi was delicious. The service was good, the food was delicious and the ambiance was nice! I just wish that rice was included in the order especially if you're dining in.

Food and service was great! Family owned restaurant with plenty of room, fun music, and eclectic decor. The saag paneer was creamy and tasty! Butter chicken sooo good. We also enjoyed the Bollywood salad, kids chicken wings & fries (excellent), an eggplant dish, and lentils. We tried the appetizer sampler and extra samosas, delicious! We just randomly stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad we did! Only one point food did take a bit of time to cook but everything was made fresh to order.

I don't remember the name of the dish I ordered but it is vegetarian, with tofu, white onion, green onion, red bell pepper, and a lemon slice to squeeze on top, which really enhanced the dish. Anyways, I am eating as I write this and it is so good! The service here is great. Will definitely stop here next time I am traveling by. Just ate some dessert - a piece of strawberry cheesecake. I walked into hear the sounds of beautiful eastern music playing and aromatic scents coming from the kitchen. The interior is an golden, whimsical celebration of Indian culture... I look forward to bringing friends once indoor seating is allowed. The food is flavorful and features a plentiful, balanced use of spices- even the dhal was memorable and enticing. They feature a variety of grilled breads and have both vegetarian and non-veg options. If you are into okra they have it on the menu here and it's tasty! I'll be back to try more from the menu. read more

Was craving Indian food on the way home from work and at that time it was one of the few that was open. Very good Indian food. The interior looks really cool as well. I'll have to come back and eat inside next time. I definitely need to try more of their Naan bread. My wife loved it and she's pretty picky. I had the garlic naan, Malai Kofta, Rice and Chana Samosa. India 4 U Upon walking into India 4 U you are immersed with wonderful scents, sights, and vibes! I didn't even plan on eating at this wonderful establishment but The smell of onions, garlic, and various spices filled the air of the whole block... soooo I did what any true lover of food would do and skipped the gym just to try the deliciousness that lofted in the air. I'm pretty sure my mouth had multiple orgasms from the explosion of flavors. I would definitely recommend trying India 4 U not only if you're a lover of Indian cuisine or if you're a new comer to this type of food! have tried a few indian places here in manteca and they always have a balance of pros and cons. pro, food was ok, con was they would ignore my spice request as i get really bad heartburn. or food was terrible but service was ok. this place has taken that balance and destroyed it. the food is always great and the service is awesome! my wife can handle the spice so she always orders a medium spice butter chicken with a side of the spices so she can add more as needed. i order the chicken korma with as little spice as possible because of heartburn. the owner would come and check on us to make sure everything was as we requested. we brought a friend who has never really tried indian before and she was blown away by it. highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

I've been wanting to try this place and last night we decided to go for it. We ordered online through Yelp. We were given a time frame of when it would be ready and when we arrived it was ready. The food was delicious and still hot when we got home. The garlic naan wasn't over powering. The food had a slight kick to it, enough to give some heat but not overpower flavors. We will definitely be going back again. We ordered: Samosa Matar Mushroom (2)Garlic Naan (2)Basmati Rice Aloo Gobi Tikka Masala This was four a family of four (2 adults and 8 and 10 year old) and had enough for left overs for two more people, depending on your appetite. read more

TRASH TRASH TRASH. DO NOT EAT HERE. The only good thing about this place is esthetics. It's beautiful inside but the food is beyond disgusting. The guy gives discounts to people to write good reviews but tbh. It's hella nasty. That's the only reason this place has high ratings. Terrible food and customer service, the old man with the long mustache was nice , but dirty, he picked his nose intensely like a child thinking I wouldn't see him behind the counter. He brought my food without washing his hands. His son literally scratched his butt before bringing out my drink. He didn't even wash his hands either. The place smells like feet. I saw one cockroach under our table, and like 2 flies by the window. I'm shocked that this place is this filthy. I'm sure they would not pass an inspection. I've ate at many restaurants in many different cities, I work as a truck driver, so I've seen many places. By far this is the worst place to eat. Food is a 0. Service is a 0, cleanliness and hygiene definitely a 0. Do not waste your money or time here, and if you do decide to, don't be surprised when you're upset about how awful it is. read more

This is definitely our go to spot for Indian Cuisine, I'm Mexican although I'm married to A Beautiful Indo Fijian woman, so I have had my share of good indian food; I can honestly say this restaurant is the best; The food is always perfectly cooked and seasoned the owner will also adj the spice level to your liking. the inside of the restaurant is also beautifully decorated with original art decor and seating from India. This is absolutely the best restaurant and best Indian restaurant I have ever been to!! I get the basil cream chicken with basmati rice and it is absolutely AMAZING!! Theirs is shared in more of a chip style pastry rather than the puff (not sure if that makes any difference flavor wise but something of note.) The palak paneer for me was underwhelming. The heat was nice but other than that, not likely a dish I'd order again due to lack of flavor. The strips of ginger were the only thing that really stood out flavor wise. My friend liked his tikka- particularly the heat it packed- but prefers other area options. Definitely a spot worth checking out on your own to be the judge. I'd go more 3.5 than 3 in terms of stars, but not quite 4.

The butter chicken was disappointing too; the pieces had almost as much cartilage as actual meat. Service was mediocre. After taking our order, the menus just sat on our table until we asked for them to be removed because we needed the space for our food. A water jug was dropped on the table for self-service even though the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon and there were two servers working. On top of that, the restaurant itself was very warm, which made eating hot Indian food really uncomfortable. We honestly couldn't wait to leave and didn't even bother taking our leftovers. With so many other good options in town, I wouldn't come back. From top to bottom, this place needs serious improvement.

This place is AMAZING! Everything we order was made to order. Hot Fresh and best of all the FLAVOR! I have tried many Indian restraints. But this place India 4 U beats everyone out the water. We have been there tree times in the last month. There food has so much flavor and is just the absolute best! You do have to make reservations, but when we do they always have openings and do this as a courtesy so their customers are not sitting too long. They like to know how many people so that way at the time of arrival they have a booth for you and are ready too cook for the amount of people coming in. I have to say this is a must try place, especially if you LOVE authentic Indian food. I advise if you love spicy, don't order, their spicy is VERY spicy. So this is our second time here and once again it was Bomb.com! We ordered Chicken Tikki Masala, Mango Chicken and Chicken Korma ( can you tell we like chicken?) in medium spicy level. Let me tell you it did not disappoint!! I couldn't get it in my stomach fast enough!! Garlic cheese naan was delicious!! Shout out to Robin and Romi for their excellent service!! A kiss to the cooks too! I highly recommend this place! The videos had me dancing in my seat. Best Indian food I've ever had!! Yelp sucks for not recommending it! The business owner was super friendly and even showed me a sneak peak of their Indian Sweetshop which is located next door. An Indian restaurant and a bakery right next to each other! Wow! I have never eaten Indian food as yummy as India 4 U serves. This is purely authentic Indian food made and prepared just perfect with every dish I've ordered. Not only is the food outstanding, the entire ambiance of the restaurant is gorgeous and always has positive vibes. When you are welcomed here, not only are you greeted by such a kind staff but by the attention to detail that make this beautiful restaurant.
