Definitely a different chef from the last time. I would still recommend the butter chicken and saag paneer - solid dishes. Dishes I would be ok with- Pani Puri Mango Lassi - the version they have here is a bit on the thinner side than we're used to Lamb Biryani - The biryani is a little different than we're used to - some tomato in here? Assorted Naan - flavor was ok but they were on the soft side - might have needed some more time in the oven Basil Cream - garlic, basil, cream - this was tasty, but seemed like it was a bit out of place with the other food. Also, I wouldn't recommend the shrimp as they didn't hold up well in the sauce (tiny and a little overcooked) Dishes that weren't my favorite- Bollywood Wings - for a deep fried wing, these have no texture (like a microwaved wing). Flavor is pretty good - like a sweet and sour sauce. Achari Chicken - unfortunately, lots of issues with this dish. It presents nicely as chicken and veggies on a sizzling plate. However, they first start with fully cooked chicken breast which goes onto the hot plate. Maybe if it was parcooked or they used dark meat, it might have survived, but the chicken was bone dry. Other issue was the veggies at the bottom were completely burned and inedible. Overall, the restaurant is still a pretty interesting place to visit due to their abundance in decor. The food didn't hit the spot this time, but we'd be willing to try it again.

Worth Every Minute of the Drive!…read more We made the 28-minute drive from Tracy to try Happy Pizza, and it was absolutely worth it! We ordered a custom pepperoni and sausage pizza with their 3-cheese blend, and wow it was amazing. The pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, super cheesy, and had very little crust, just the way my kids like it. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. We also got to sample the pepperoni sticks with hot honey, and they were incredible. The sweet heat from the honey paired perfectly with the pepperoni. Honestly, I could eat those every day... as long as I keep working out! The garlic knots were another highlight. They were soft, fresh, and seasoned perfectly, not overly garlicky, but just the right amount. They practically melted in your mouth with every bite. The customer service was just as impressive as the food. One of the owner's daughters helped check us out, and she did an amazing job. She was friendly, welcoming, and even offered my daughter a popsicle because it was such a hot day. Those little gestures really make a difference. To top it all off, the Jarritos drinks, Fruit Punch and Mandarin were the perfect finishing touch to an already fantastic meal. If you're looking for fresh, authentic pizza, amazing sides, and outstanding customer service, Happy Pizza is a must-visit. We'll definitely be making the drive again and honestly, we'd do it just for that pizza!

I hate to say it, but this was honestly the worst Indian food experience I've had--and being…read moreIndian, that says a lot. Our appetizer, pav bhaji, didn't even come out until after the meal. When it finally arrived, the bhaji was bizarre--it was a dry ball, almost like a pakora, instead of the moist, buttery potato dish it's supposed to be. The dal makhani was also dry and clearly seemed like it had been cooked days earlier and just reheated. The butter chicken was disappointing too; the pieces had almost as much cartilage as actual meat. Service was mediocre. After taking our order, the menus just sat on our table until we asked for them to be removed because we needed the space for our food. A water jug was dropped on the table for self-service even though the restaurant was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon and there were two servers working. On top of that, the restaurant itself was very warm, which made eating hot Indian food really uncomfortable. We honestly couldn't wait to leave and didn't even bother taking our leftovers. With so many other good options in town, I wouldn't come back. From top to bottom, this place needs serious improvement.

First time visiting and to be honest I don't know they had a sit down Indian restaurant in this Bass Pro shop anchored shopping center. It's called a bistro. Not much Indian decor but their food makes up for that. I loved the fish salmon pakoras (fried fritters) and Gobi Manchurian. They have several tv sets above the bar also. Service is friendly and attentive. It's easy to miss this spot if you drive by but we walked around and ran into it basically. Across the small street is Curry Pizza house if you're craving Indian desi style pizza . This place has all the usual suspects of Indian dishes, very clean and next time I'm not late to a movie I will sit down and eat with no rush and enjoy it a little bit more. Give them a try! 5/5
