Chicken noodles was finally spaghetti with bad chicken, that's all (no vegetables, nothin). Saag paneer was too spicy. I asked for cheese naan but he gave me chili naan, bad and dry. Only the mango lassi was good. We didn't eat nothing and we pay 53 dollars. Water had a chlorine taste and they didn't have bottles of water so we had no choice. We know really well indian food because we go to India each year since 13 years and the real Indian food from India is totally different and better!!! read more

Great food! The non-vegetarians in the group loved the food. Tandoori chicken was a hit! Lamb chops and biryani were highly recommended by members in our group. Butter paneer and butter chicken was yummy and flavorful and much better than the run of the mill creamy curries we run into usually. Really good butter chicken. Best ive ever had, I feel like servings were big. It's was flavorful and overall delicious. If you haven't tried it, it's a must and they give you the choice of spice. Very frustrating. Placed an online order through their site and when I got there to pick it up, they said "we don't have wifi and we don't take online orders." So they refused to refund the order OR give the food. When he had the audacity to ring me up in person (remember I've already paid) he charged almost $13 more than their prices charged upon ordering online. And their wifi worked JUST FINE as I used Apple Pay and their router was working perfectly and visible from register. WHY CHOOSE TO LIE? Be careful. They WILL be devious and handle business in this way. I never got angry or put up a fight while there because that doesn't fix ANYTHING. I've tried a lot of the Indian food places in Manteca. Most of them were pretty good but I kept looking because I had a feeling there was something better out there. So glad I did because that's how I found tandoori Grill. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely amazing, the garlic nann was to die for and they have a pretty awesome beverage selection. This place has some of our favorite Indian food in town over the last couple of years. Of course our order always includes their butter chicken which is a la carte but for a couple of dollars more you can add rice. The service here isn't that great which is funny because how do you give bad service for to go orders?? They just never have the food ready on the time the day. Recently they said 25 mins & I came after 40 mins and the restaurant had zero tables, no one in the front, so I rang a bell they had. The guy came out and told me let me check on your order, and never came back. Another guy eventually came after several minutes and I asked him, so he went back to check. The vegetarian food was fresh and delicious, and the best was masala papad and lacha paratha, hard to find such in Bay Area. I just tried to come in and sit down at eat at precisely 9:00 p.m. it wasnt busy and I only seen two tables with customers and just now was told only orders to-go and they close at 8:30 p.m. however all of their advertisement online says they close at 9:30 p.m. The food here is delicious but I will happily discontinue giving my money to this place for the lack of customer service and for blatantly lying to my face to close a little bit early. Very disappointed in this visit. False advertisement! either close at 9:30 like your advertisement says or change it to 8:30 p.m. but dont pick and choose and lie to customers so you can close when you feel its convenient for you. I really enjoyed the goat curry at this restaurant. I usually order medium and even that it's a little bit spicier than most. However, it's still very delicious. My only disappointment is with the lawn was a little over cooked otherwise it would've been perfect! I have not had Indian beer and so I bought two varieties to try it with my meal, the price of the beer was almost the price of the meals. I'm not sure why the beer would be so expensive. One order of goat curry, one order of rice one order of garlic naan and two beers was $40 ! That's ridiculous! Even with inflation adding two beers should not double the price of a meal. I came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy, and service was okay. They did forget to bring out an order, but quickly did so when reminded. They accommodated the request for separate checks. Parking was simple and plentiful. The vegetable pakora was a bit too doughy. The vegetable samosa was okay. The goat curry had large pieces of bone. The chicken vindalu was sliced too thick. The eggplant bhartha may have had too much yogurt, as I can taste the tartness. The chana masala was good and cooked to my liking. The dal makhani was on the salty side. The saag paneer was tasty. The meat dishes were flavored nicely. I think the vegetarian dishes had really strong flavors. The Goat Curry was a little boney, need a little more meat, But all in all I love it. The Garlic Naan was delicious. I really enjoyed my food. The lady told me that I should come for the lunch buffet, I'm planning too. The place was clean and the atmosphere was mellow. I want to try the Butter Chicken next. Hands down one of the best Indian food restaurants in the 209 area. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way home and loved everything about it. It was busy on a Sunday evening but one of the servers (the only server), Pinder was hustling . We appreciate his hard work. The ambiance is wonderful, this is a great place to bring your family, they have large tables to accommodate large parties. The food was so flavorful and there are SO many options to choose from. We ordered tandoori chicken, tandoori shrimp, kharadi chicken, dhal thark, shahi paneer, and a few different breads. The spice level and the flavor were on point!
