Butter Chicken Masala and Garlic Naan
    Leah B.

My party and I had the butter chicken masala with rice and garlic naan and it was to die for. We all knew we wanted butter chicken, but their menu would be kind of confusing to people who aren't familiar with names of Indian dishes. The service was decent, we were seated and served fast. I can't stress enough how good our food was! I am salivating just thinking about it now!

Butter chicken masala! ( it was super good and a little spicy)

The food tasted incredible and it looked fantastic too. Some of the food was a little spicy, which made it unique while the others had a different taste as well. Everything was amazing, and we all loved very much.

This is just absolute worst place to eat. Why ask how you want your food to be made and not make it according. Food tastes very old and stale. Oder it through grub hub. This restaurant want people to bad mouth them. I careless about pricing since I choose to oder and as owner you can set whatever price you want. But make fresh food everyday. Try harder and follow up on every bad review. If you don't speak/read English get a better help. I am so disappointed. Do better. Food was thrown away. I have pics of that but won't post it.

    Kadai paneer

Kadai paneer was not good - too oily and with current leaves, it was not tasty; quantity was ok. Garlic naan was also weird - very thin and no taste. Gobi Manchurian was ok not great. Paneer biryani was also average Service was poor too; they first said they are out of paneer biryani and asked if we were okay with pulavo and when we said no cancel the order; they got us pane biryani in 5 mins!! Staff was also not welcoming Definitely not going again and will not recommend this place for veg / vegan friends

A very delicious n delightful experience at Minerva on a sunny Sunday today as we stopped for lunch on our drive up north ! I'll share a detailed breakdown in the next few lines. The service n staff are excellent, the food was delicious. They had a lunch buffet n we gave it a try, menu was mentioned on their website which was good n did help us make a choice as it had items we never tried before. Our first time experience of Duppudo Goat Biryani was the star of the show - flavorful, aromatic, and cooked in ghee n small onions you can get that amazing taste to perfection when chewing, n an another best was Andhra fish curry really good. The starters, especially the chicken 65 n Andhra Chicken fry ( though deep fried n oily , ok for a cheat day :) ) were served hot , mouth-watering and left us craving for more. I'm no chef but have tasted good n authentic food from even most rural parts of India during my travel n can certainly mention this menu is very authentic n takes u back to the Godavari Basin cuisine. The Naan n double ka meeta sweet could get better , I'm going to ignore that as Andhra cuisines are not about those. The menu had good Veg items too , we didn't try much of those so cannot comment. The place is closer to an exit on Central Valley , well-maintained, spacious, not too crowded n perfect for a gathering. The owner n staff surprisingly we happen to know them from Fremont Beemavaram Ruchulu were delighted to see us, super courteous, n we were really happy for their success n spreading their wings across with their great hospitality. In addition to the authenticity with food, they made every guest feel special ( like any place they had one odd guest today :) u know what I'm talking about , but the Staff handled really well). Based on our personal experience would rate 5 stars for the authentic n amazing food n their service. Honestly, the pricing was 17.99$ + taxes which we felt is decent, given it's not a regular Menu, takes alot to prepare such an authentic food n give that experience specially in a state like Cali. Highly recommend for an authentic Andhra style dining!

    Chicken masala dosa

We loved the food we ordered (chicken masala dosa, butter chicken and rice, pepper mushroom). I know its basic but we cant handle the heat of Indian food. The masala was not too hot with just the perfect blend of spices, Dosa was crispy. The pepper mushroom tasted like calamari, although it was a little bit oily (they used pure cornstarch to coat the mushrooms).Butter chicken was basic but all dishes were piping hot when served. Place is clean but as other reviewer have mentioned, customer service sucks, they're not rude but they're not nice either, we can tolerate that. In conclusion we are coming back to try their buffet on weekends. We forgot to take a picture of the butter chicken before we devoured it.

Manna Biryanizz came up and we were in the mood for some biryani and dosa :) We ordered a Chicken 65 biryani and a Mysore Masala Dosa to share. It was so good! I love chicken 65 and biryani separately but it's pretty awesome to have them together. Also, their spice level is no joke and it's perfect for us. The dosa was also super crispy, delicious, and was delicious. I was able to go in and order pretty easily. There's some indoor and outdoor seating; we sat outside since we were traveling with our dog. A lot of the food is bussed on your own but the folks were very kind about handing my food to me outside so we can enjoy. Also, def get some of their chai! There's little cups where you can try some but you can also buy to-go containers if you need some more. Looking forward to coming back when we're in the area!

It is a completely different story! I ordered the Veg Dum Biryani and it was easily the best I've had in a couple of years. In this area, I've found that most vegetarian Biryanis have become very bland and repetitive, but this had a truly unique and fresh taste. Two things really stood out: 1. The Spice Level: It was perfectly balanced--flavorful without being overwhelming. 2. The Ingredients: Unlike many other spots that are mostly rice, this Biryani actually had a generous amount of vegetables in it. If you've been disappointed by bland Biryani lately, give this place a try. It's a fresh, high-quality addition to the neighborhood. Highly recommended!

We were curious to try this spot since it replaced the Chinese restaurant, and we're so glad we did! Our server, Harpreet, was fantastic. Today, I go to pick my order up after 30 minites like the text told me and was told there was no order. I checked the Novatab (site they use) and the order is gone but my card had been charged. I tell the woman at the counter and she says, "maybe you placed it with Mountain House." I kept showing her my account where it says Himalayan Kitchen Tracy. She laughed then tells me, "oh it says minus here." I said, "yes, meaning you guys took the money from my account. The minus means it is taken from my account." Thankfully I was also sent a text message because the Novatab doesn't send you an email. I kept telling her I was charged and the order says it was placed but of course she kept calling me a liar saying that the order was from November. So I leave and call to speak to a manager because she said she had to wait for the manager to come at 5 pm. The "manager" then says they don't see the order but they see one from November and I keep telling him I showed the girl where the order was placed today and charged today. He then says don't worry he will get me my money back and I asked how if you guys keep saying you don't see the order. He then says he is going to talk to his electronics team. I told him when it fully goes through I'll dispute the charge and just not come back to them again. Very disappointing when I've been coming here for a while now. To be called a liar and my money be taken. I am posting the proof as well. Update: 01/09/2026 charge fully posted even though they swear the order never came through.

What they could work on is the food quality and taste. None of the meat was tender enough to be eaten by the cutlery provided. *The goat dum hyderabadi biryani wasn't exactly authentic hyderabadi biryani either. Just a biryani overpowered by the masalas to hide the fact that the meat isn't properly cooked. *We also ordered the Hyderabadi Goat Masala curry which was decent but it had the same problem as the biryani. The meat wasn't done very well. *For sizzlers/Kababs we ordered the Murgh Tangdi. It came out sizzling which was appealing to the eye, but all the spices were not well cooked. We could taste the rawness of the uncooked spices on top of the chicken. What my take is that they rushed into making it and could have cooked for longer on low temp. All in all, i wouldn't come back again unfortunately but if the above mentioned problems were taken care of it's an amazing place to come for lunch/dinner!

Goat curry had goat meat that wasn't fully cooked properly and was very difficult to chew. The biryani had the correct taste, but was way too spicy, after each bite I'd have to drink a full cup of water before proceeding to the next bite. All in all, I wouldn't visit a second time because the food is the soul of the restaurant, and unfortunately for PBP it's just not hitting the spot.
