To be honest, I should have known from the second I walked in that this was going to be an amazing meal, even with the simple, casual atmosphere typical of any lunchtime locale. The fragrance of Indian spaces immediately welcomed me. The staff was friendly and took our order right away. When the food arrived, it was brought by a man with kind eyes and an easy smile that made it feel like family. Both of us took our first bite and knew that we had found something special. I had the Butter Chicken Biryani, which was full of warm flavors, and spiced just to my requested level. My companion had the Samosa Chaat, which she said was delicious, fresh and flavorful. Portions were very generous. And the prices were extremely reasonable as well. Before leaving we decided on a dessert of Gulab Jamun, which was the perfect companion to an extraordinary meal. After ordering the dessert, we were offered little sample taster cups of their chai, which I had never tried anywhere before. I now know why people enjoy chai. It is such a full bodied, warm drink with delightfully complex flavors. We've been visiting Milk & Sugar Ice Cream in this market complex for a while and kept noticing this spot after seeing positive reviews online. We were a bit skeptical at first, but finally decided to try it--and we're glad we did. This is one of those understated places that doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food easily competes with more well-known restaurants. We ordered a variety of items: vada pav, fish pakora, mixed veg pakora platter, Mysore masala dosa, and chole bhature. The standout for us was the veg pakora--it was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The fish pakora was also enjoyable. The chole bhature was solid and satisfying. The Mysore masala dosa was decent, though not exceptional. The vada pav tasted good, but it's worth noting that it's not very authentic in preparation or style, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Overall, this place is definitely worth a try, especially if you're exploring options in the area. My partner and I were on our way back to the Bay Area after a trip to Tahoe and needed some lunch in the Tracy area. Manna Biryanizz came up and we were in the mood for some biryani and dosa :) We ordered a Chicken 65 biryani and a Mysore Masala Dosa to share. It was so good! I love chicken 65 and biryani separately but it's pretty awesome to have them together. Also, their spice level is no joke and it's perfect for us. The dosa was also super crispy, delicious, and was delicious. I was able to go in and order pretty easily. There's some indoor and outdoor seating; we sat outside since we were traveling with our dog. A lot of the food is bussed on your own but the folks were very kind about handing my food to me outside so we can enjoy. Also, def get some of their chai! There's little cups where you can try some but you can also buy to-go containers if you need some more. Looking forward to coming back when we're in the area! read more

It is right next to milk&sugar, the plaza is kind of hidden. I ordered chicken dum biryani and butter chicken , love both dishes, very flavorful and good amount of food. I was hesitant to order from this location given my experiences with the previous restaurant that was here, but I'm so glad I gave Mana Biryanlzz a chance. It is a completely different story! I ordered the Veg Dum Biryani and it was easily the best I've had in a couple of years. In this area, I've found that most vegetarian Biryanis have become very bland and repetitive, but this had a truly unique and fresh taste. Two things really stood out: 1. The Spice Level: It was perfectly balanced--flavorful without being overwhelming. 2. The Ingredients: Unlike many other spots that are mostly rice, this Biryani actually had a generous amount of vegetables in it. Manna Biryanizz is a hidden gem in Tracy! The biryani is incredibly flavorful, perfectly spiced, and tastes fresh every time - you can tell they put real care into the cooking. This used to be my absolute favorite Indian restaurant, but since the ownership and name change, the quality has gone downhill badly. We ordered a family mutton curry, and it was extremely disappointing. About 95% of the dish was dry rice and maybe 5% was actual meat--and most of that meat was just bones. There was barely any sauce at all, which made the rice very hard and unpleasant to eat. On top of that, there were dried cloves and other herbs mixed throughout the rice with very strong, overpowering flavors. I had to constantly pick through my food to make sure I wasn't biting into one, which completely ruined the experience. This is nothing like the restaurant it used to be. The paneer was incredibly soft and well-cooked, and the chutneys were simply outstanding--full of flavor and complemented everything perfectly. I had Stuffed Mirchi Bhaji and Manna special Dosa-Vada-Idali. I loved the food. My Only suggestion would be to make the Idali a bit more fermented - it should be a bit spongier and sourer. The owner is so nice to let us in even though it is almost their closing time. We ordered the Dosa Combo, Chicken Dum Biryani, goat curry. Everything hit the spot for our cravings. Wow what great food. The place was busy but after we ordered our food came quickly. We sat down to eat. The place has a nice atmosphere. Clean and friendly. We had the chicken dom biryani family meal with a side of chicken 65 and we ordered a samosa side for appetizer. The samosas were great. Crisp, not oily, nice and spicy. Yummy delicious. Okay I'm from San Diego and I thought down there we had really good chicken tikka masala then I am sent to Tracy California on a job and I'm staying at the extended stay for my room I see the sign and I'm like wow what's that so I walk over there it happens to be Indian food I love Indian food I walk in I order chicken tikka masala I tell you what it is the best chicken tikka masala I've ever had like a 10 across the board the people are very friendly there it's a very clean place I see a guy in the back literally stirring a pot I know he's been there for about an hour stirring this thing to make the sauces people need to go there support this business these are very good people the food out of the world spices to another level after eating there and going back home to San Diego I ordered the chicken tikka masala one bite and it wasn't even the same as Manna Biryanizz in Tracy Ca. read more
