Food & service: So many Gluten Free options!…read more We had the masala dosa, paneer dosa, pau bhaji dosa, Idli, filter coffee and Irani chai. Food was packed with flavor and wonderful different textures. Each dosa tasted very different so it was fun to try each other's order. The idlis were huge and so moist and soft. I will probably order extra sambar next time because it was THAT good. Perfect soul food. We are so happy to have an authentic South Indian restaurant so close to home! Staff was very helpful in navigating the menu and answering questions about the dishes. We were a large, excited and hungry party and felt we got our food pretty quickly. 100% coming back! I did not have a chance to take a picture of our food because we could not wait to dig in. Will take pictures next time :) Restaurant: clean, organized I liked being able to grab my water and also they have a sink near the seating area which was a convenient touch if you want to wash hands without having to go into the bathroom.

It's hard when you've had some great dishes from similar style restaurants. Per the usual, I'd recommend giving the place a shot and judging for yourself- perhaps this one will take the win for you over others. (I will say benne dosa anywhere... try it!) 3.5 stars.

Gobi, Manchurian was very well-made as well. As an avid Chinese and Indian food lover, it was a perfect combination of sweet spicy and salty. I would order this again. We also ordered the chai, which was wonderfully spiced however it was already sweetened. The mango last has a lot of creamy yogurt, and it was a great combination with the well spiced foods. The price was really great as well. And then how much a lady was very kind and gave us a free sample of her dessert.

We ordered the chicken tikka, samosa chaat and palak paneer. The samosa chaat was good and one I'd consider maybe ordering again, just not among the best I've had. Theirs is shared in more of a chip style pastry rather than the puff (not sure if that makes any difference flavor wise but something of note.) The palak paneer for me was underwhelming. The heat was nice but other than that, not likely a dish I'd order again due to lack of flavor. The strips of ginger were the only thing that really stood out flavor wise. My friend liked his tikka- particularly the heat it packed- but prefers other area options. Definitely a spot worth checking out on your own to be the judge. I'd go more 3.5 than 3 in terms of stars, but not quite 4.

The order went through and when the order went through based on the time, I looked up and found that they are in Lathrop. When the food arrived after a long time (not a delay just the distance) it was so well worth every bit of the wait. The tandoori was perfect. It was made in the tandoor as you could smell the charcoal. The goat curry & biriyani both were so tasty, the meat was cooked perfect. The goat curry also came with side of rice. I also ordered plain white rice for my little one. There was so much food for our family of 3 that we didn't know what to do. The hotel refrigerator was so tiny so we couldn't fit in any leftovers. I gave them to the hotel staff and they were so happy for the yummy food. Man I loved this place and wish I lived closer so I could eat them more often. Also my Uber Eats driver told me that they are a food truck and had a big waiting line. They totally exceed my expectations for a food truck meal and I am not surprised for the crowd. The only issue I had with their biryani was that it had a lot of bone fragments. Maybe they need to get better equipment to chop meat.

Definitely a different chef from the last time. I would still recommend the butter chicken and saag paneer - solid dishes. Dishes I would be ok with- Pani Puri Mango Lassi - the version they have here is a bit on the thinner side than we're used to Lamb Biryani - The biryani is a little different than we're used to - some tomato in here? Assorted Naan - flavor was ok but they were on the soft side - might have needed some more time in the oven Basil Cream - garlic, basil, cream - this was tasty, but seemed like it was a bit out of place with the other food. Also, I wouldn't recommend the shrimp as they didn't hold up well in the sauce (tiny and a little overcooked) Dishes that weren't my favorite- Bollywood Wings - for a deep fried wing, these have no texture (like a microwaved wing). Flavor is pretty good - like a sweet and sour sauce. Achari Chicken - unfortunately, lots of issues with this dish. It presents nicely as chicken and veggies on a sizzling plate. However, they first start with fully cooked chicken breast which goes onto the hot plate. Maybe if it was parcooked or they used dark meat, it might have survived, but the chicken was bone dry. Other issue was the veggies at the bottom were completely burned and inedible. Overall, the restaurant is still a pretty interesting place to visit due to their abundance in decor. The food didn't hit the spot this time, but we'd be willing to try it again.
