They have a selection of beer ranging from light beer to IPA to ale and more. I had the Mexican Honey. It was honestly the BEST beer I've had. Period. Crisp and citrusy. Just absolutely the best. Indeed Brewing Company has also recently partnered up with the nearby taco restaurant, so you can order tacos online and they can deliver it to your table. I grew up in MN, and I always have loved this brewery! I was in town and had to stop by again. My favorite is the Mexican Honey, but today I had the Pistachio Cream Ale, Springbier and the Lucy. My favorite is the Pistachio Cream Ale, and I even bought a shirt of the cute pistachios last time I visited. This brewery gives me so much nostalgia. I love the inside with the wooden tables and shuffleboard table, and they always have such good food trucks. I've had Revival the last few times I've been and have enjoyed their cheese curds. When you're in the Midwest, you have to have some cheese curds and beer! The outside is really nice too with the tent areas and trains that pass. I also love the area that Indeed is in. There are so many breweries nearby, and it makes it easy to brewery hop. Northeast is such a nice area overall, and it's the best place to explore other fun places. It's been over a decade since I've spent a dime here. Walk w me here... October 2012 I went w a large group for a tour, each person was given three wooden tokens for beers. NOTHING was said when receiving the tokens; read: informed these are only good for today. I had a party later so I only used two tokens. All good....right? I stop in nine months later, July 2013. Showing the beertender the token I ask if I can get... the yamajama? He says no. I think alright, maybe a special release? I move on asking if I can get the daytripper? Again I'm told no.... odd.... Owner Tom is @ the end of the bar...slides down to us, asking "where did you get that?" I told him I received it @ a tour. Tom replies "those cost money, I need that back". ok.... So I order a beer..... have to pay for it... The beertender asks for the token... I give it to him... Needless to say I felt like a toddler who had a toy taken away! Like a buddy said "the token costs money, so does the beer, I give you the token, you give me a beer". Over a decade I have refused to drink/support Indeed because of this tomfoolery. A friend from the tour said "I think I still have a token too" Me "don't take it there, they'll take it away" This whole situation is garbage. If he would have gave them out while stating "these must be used today" would have been a different situation, but he didn't. Maybe you think I'm petty? My absolute favorite brewery! I LOVE their Mexican Honey! We walked up and they had available seating inside, outside seating was spoken for, "tough on the weekend." Visited Indeed with some guests from out of town and we were all impressed! I chose to take my guests here with the thought of being able to walk around to a few other breweries in the area but we didn't even end up leaving. Great selection of beer - I had the key lime and strawberry fields sour and both were odd, but good (especially for a hot summer day). One of my guests ordered the pistachio beer off of my recommendation and loved it! I did have a few guests that were not drinking as well and we were impressed with the selection of Non-alcoholic drinks available (soda and some other items) Overall, would recommend Indeed. What's cool about this place is sometimes you got to see the train cruising by. Yes, they are located by the train track. There wasn't many games for every party to enjoy. Tip - follow Indeed on Instagram to keep up with what is happening with the tap room and new releases for beer. This is one of my favorite breweries to visit in the Twin Cities. A classic favorite is the Mexican Honey - very light and refreshing. I love the wooden soul series. In the tap room, it is bottle service so if you are here with a group, I would recommend splitting a 750 ml bottle of really good beer for the table. One of my current favorites is LILIKO'I - the passion fruit wild ale. It really did blow me away and I'm happy whenever I find it in liquor stores. Recently I tried their chai velvet and was very impressed with how smooth it was. They are always brewing something new so follow them on social media or check out the website to see what interests you. Each week, they do have a charity night so if you want to drink for a cause, I would highly recommend checking out their calendar. Love seeing breweries supporting local businesses! Parking lot available in front along with additional parking nearby on the street and another parking lot close by. They do have a patio that allows dogs. I'm always up for trying new breweries and surprisingly I had never been to Indeed. One Monday night, a friend and I decided we would check out a couple breweries and I made sure Indeed was on the list. There is a private parking lot so parking is easy. We walked inside and found seats at the bar. This place isn't huge which surprised me and I can see it getting very crowded. There are board games to play if that's your thing. They also have a private room for events. I got the Lucy Session Sour as my first pick and it was pretty good. Not my favorite sour that I've had in the cities but good. My second round was the Mexican honey and I enjoyed that. Overall, solid beers and friendly bar tender. I hope they add more sours to their summer line up! read more

I love the dark but warm friendly vibe of this place. People just hanging out enjoying a beer. And the beers are awesome by the way. They have a good variety and well executed. For Saint Patrick's day, they made a dark coffee lager and it was amazing. Tonight I had the Cal-ida West Coast IPA and I'm from San Diego where that kind of brew really became famous through the likes of Stone and Ballast Point. Great spot for a weekend hangout. Shuffleboard and a double-sides bar, along with an outdoor patio and a rotating food truck make this a great spot to relax. A good selection of bottled sour and fruited beers along with a solid tap lineup. The line can get a bit long and can weave outside (bummer if it's hot or raining) or push up against the shuffleboard table. But they tend to open the second bar when it gets that crowded. Yes, Indeed, I like Wish I could give it six stars Shuffleboard is free After a hectic day at work today, I suggested to a co-worker that we check this place out. I don't know why it is, but these new craft brewery tap rooms always seem to be really off the beaten path. Luckily, I got good directions from Yelp. I would have been lost without them. Got there about 2PM today and found out they do not open until 3 on Fridays. Went to the nearby Vegas Lounge to kill some time. I will save that review for a later day. Headed back at 3 sharp and we were the first customers to arrive. Got a couple Day Trippers which their website describes as follows: "Regionally grown American pale malt is blended with rich European malts to produce a lighter bodied beer, bright in color, with a taut white head that keeps track of time as you sip." That sounds about right. Hit the spot, anyways. I'm not sure what the law is with the new taprooms as far as serving food goes. They had a pizza truck outside the tap room today. You had to go outside and order it, but then they would bring it in for you. Talked with the owner of the pizza truck, and he said they are not there everyday. So if you are hungry, this might not usually be the best place to come. As we were the first ones to arrive, we managed to hog the shuffleboard. FREE! Took me a beer and a half to work the yips out, but then I was very competitive. Won one out of four, all of which were extremely close except for the first one. read more

This place has really done amazing work adapting to COVID. I feel completely safe there, seated inside or out. Staff are generally friendly and the beer is delicious. My only gripe is that they don't vary much from their core set of beers. Pretty much what was on tap the last time you were there will be there the next time. Not much in the way of variants or specials. When they do have them they are great (the barrel aged barley wine is a great example). This review is specific to winter during the Covid-19 pandemic. After a year of being extra cautious, never dining out, and only leaving our apartment for groceries and doctor's appointments, we found out that Indeed was converting their space into a winter covid-19-safe beerland, and let me tell you, (as the most paranoid of coronavirus paranoid) we are here for it. We felt super safe in "The Lot," the outdoor beer-space with individual fire pits. We made our reservation online for a Sunday afternoon, and when we arrived, we were taken to our own individual table where the waiter promptly started our individual fire pit and gave us the beer menu. In "The Lot" it was table service only, so our waiter came and took our beer order. We were super intrigued by the concept of a "brulee beer" and our waiter instructed us to drink 1/3 of our beer and head over to the brulee station. After doing so, the employee at the brulee area stuck a piping hot s'more skewer into each of our beers which created a marshmallow-like foam on top of our beer. I don't know if we are biased from being cooped up for a year, but it was one of the best beer drinking experiences we have ever had. If you are in the "super paranoid" category, and sick of being cooped up during covid-19, I would highly recommend making a reservation at "The Lot." It's super safe, and the employees and other patrons were super respectful of the masking rules. Also, the beer was delicious. I highly recommend getting the Pistachio Cream Ale brulee style while you can. You won't regret it. read more

Arrived here before 12:00 opening on Saturday and parking lot irritated me as it was full, super small and cramped. I backed out and parked on street. I went inside and ordered a beer and had 2 samples. Girl beertender said samples within reason. I liked Shenanigans summer ale but had already ordered my B side pils. Paid $6 and left $1 tip. Dog and I retreated to patio so not to break the rules. Drank said beer outside and kinda wanted another so returned glass and coaster and get reprimanded by other male beertender as no dogs inside. I said I'm just returning the glass and left. Would have liked to have seen flights offered. Obviously no wait staff goes to patio and I wasn't going to abandon my dog on patio. This place just gave me a vibe of bringing a dog is not encouraged. Don't think I will go out of my way to return. read more

They have expanded from the original space into the rest of the building during covid with multiple areas of well spaced seating. While parking around here can be a pain of you can't find a spot in the lot they did add a new parking lot to ease congestion. Serving up a wide variety of beers from lagers to sours to stouts Indeed pretty much has a craft beer for any palate. Weekend are quite busy here but with online reservations you don't need to worry about not having a spot. Grab a spot on their outdoor patio or one of the many cool spots inside. Indeed Brewing is how I'm going to survive covid winter... their outdoor seating around a firepit has been so incredibly helpful for me to still see some friends, outdoors, safely, in cold Minnesota weather. Parties of 4 can sit around their own fire pit while servers come in and out to take beer orders and bring beer out, you barely even need to go inside the brewery if you don't want too (I only went inside for maybe a minute to check in with the hostess). I've done it a few times already, I feel safe since I can be outside the entire time, but I'm not totally frozen thanks to the fire. Some nights they have a food truck, but you can always bring whatever takeout you want with you. I expect to spend a lot of time here this winter, and I am not mad about it! read more

This tap room was pretty cool. My wife and I entered and I got the Black Ale. Not a bad beer. They had a food truck outside, which looked pretty cool. The place had great murals all over the walls. The only thing that REALLY pissed me off was that I was waiting for about 4 minutes for a beer and the bartender noticed me, but then two guys butted in line in front of me and she served them first. I could be the most easy going guy in the world, but if you know I was there first and a couple of other guys get served first. Not Good! A cool tap room though. read more

Hoo-boy can this place get crowded! We visited on a beautiful and sunny summer afternoon and it was packed. We were able to squirm our way through to a spot in the back of the courtyard near the food truck, but it was standing room only. The facility is beautiful and in an old warehouse with lots of exposed brick. They clearly thought about the details - even down the bathroom, which is weird to comment on, but whatever. Let's be real - beer-hub bathrooms can get pretty gross pretty quick, but theirs was immaculate and well-designed. Embracing the summer day, I ordered the Strawberry Fields sour. It was a shockingly pink concoction and wasn't shy about being a fruity beer. I'm not a huge sour drinker, but I thought the natural tartness of the strawberry lended itself perfectly to the sour profile. My pal bought this round so I don't remember prices, but I do know there were a few size options and, like most MSP breweries, prices were extremely reasonable in the tap room. Parking is a bit scarce; we had to park a couple blocks away and hoof it. Not the end of the world, but something to keep in mind if it's particularly hot or cold out. Keep an eye out for parking restrictions; I know the first place we thought we found turned out to be a no-go and we had to move our car. Best advice is to arrive early and grab a seat; we probably would have stayed longer if we didn't have to stand holding our beer in the heat (though bless them for having some decent shade). read more

I had a few Indeed beers before I ever set foot in the brewery. It is ultimately one of my favorite breweries and selection of regular beers. My very favorite, is the Midnight Ryder dark. I just love how the taps come right out of the wall behind the bar. I love the atmosphere and art décor. Last time I was there, I believe they had 5 beers on tap. Unknowingly, we just made it for happy hour. I cannot think of another brewery in town the does discounted beers on happy hour. Exciting news for us! If you can sit on the patio in the summer or fall, the view of the parking lot sucks, but enjoy the weather! This places tends to fill up on the weekends with a very mixed crowd of hipster, bachelorette party, regulars and older crowd. We really dig Indeed -- it's everything you want from a local brewery. It's got a really awesome location set right next to the train tracks. So you're definitely in town but there aren't a lot of concerns about disturbing the neighbors. The actual building is an old brick warehouse looking space, with a comfortable wood interior inside. It's very comfy and pretty darn easy to waste an evening away drinking good beer and hanging with friends. The beer is solid. There are your normal varieties including the very notable Daytripper and then there's always a really interesting selection of more experimental type craft beers. I appreciate the adventurousness of the brewing staff. My personal favorite is Midnight Ryder, though the Haywire Black Ale may be vying for the top spot in my mind. People are relaxed, know a lot about the beer they are serving and pretty dang friendly. We are really happy to see this local brewery doing well and will certainly be back often. read more

Located in a dark warehouse district in the historic area of downtown Minneapolis. This is one of my favorite breweries when I visit downtown. They offer tours of their facility, then follow-it up with a few rounds in their relaxing tap room. The people here are really nice and laid back. They do really good IPA's here. Make sure you ask about their brews in the wooden caskets. Our company has had several events here and from what my colleagues tell me, this place is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. I'm going to give this a 5 for the beer alone. The Mexican honey and haul in are some of the best beers I've ever had. I went to the actual brewery for the first time tonight, and it's a cool space. The "fresh" pretzel wasn't so fresh, and the mustard was lacking flavor, but indeed has made a reputation as one of the best beer producers in Minnesota.
