I live about an hour away but I had been trying to get my older rough collie into a good groomer for a while - but the wait was causing her to suffer. She had a skin condition that required unfortunate clipping of her double coat for topical treatment months prior and I struggled to support the regrowth without matting. It was hard for me to manage her thick coat as it grew out from that treatment. I was so grateful to get the appointment, as our previous groomer was booked out months (I hadn't needed so much help since when I had been pregnant 4 years prior - but with the trim she seemed to be less brush-able). She came home from this groomer with a much happier coat and skin - and looked much more herself (compared to before the needed clipping). She is a large breed 10 year old - so I was very happy to have her returned happy with minimal stiffness. Lexi is grateful. I can tell the staff took time and care, since she was not super stiff or lame on return. I am deeply grateful. I was in happy tears seeing her after her appointment. Thank you. Thank you so much. Love, Lexi and her mom

I scheduled an appointment Wednesday for the following Monday for my two cats to establish care and…read moreget annual exams. When I arrived early, I was told it had been canceled because they had "repeatedly tried to contact me." My phone showed no calls and only one text reminder (not a cancellation notice) sent an hour and 20 minutes before the appointment. Staff said they were handling an emergency but could fit us in after about 30 minutes. I understand emergencies take priority, but we waited an hour for a room, then another 45 minutes. When one of my cats began breathing rapidly, I had to go looking for help. I found Dr. Price dismissive. He entered looking at his cellphone, asked for my cats medical histories, and said he had not reviewed the records I'd arranged to have sent ahead. He called me a "walk-in," who would be fit in where they could, despite my scheduled appointment. When I said I was losing trust in the situation, he said he didn't care about working with me if I had trust issues and asked whether I wanted the exams or wanted to leave. He completed one exam, which seemed thorough, then abruptly announced he was going to go "euthanize an animal" and left. I understand that another animal needed care, but the blunt announcement, with no explanation of what it meant for our visit, added to an already distressing situation. I decided to leave without the second cat's exam. When I tried to explain my concerns to the office manager, she declined to hear them and said they would no longer work with me. I had already said I would not return. This was a horrible, stressful experience. I was worried about my cats and kept hoping things would improve. Instead, I felt dismissed. I wish I had left sooner.
