*Tried this place for the first time during Sonoran Week for lunch *Guy Fieri featured this place in 2018 and that is displayed in several places on the menu and space including the dishes that were highlighted *Food was fresh and well plated *Tried the Aji de Gallina- super delicious... the shredded chicken was smothered in flavor and the aromatic jasmine rice added to texture and flavor *The causa relleno de camaron (opted for shrimp) was a cold appetizer and with flavors I've not had before which was a pleasant surprise *Large menu selection and the food is mild- but you can ask for their hot sauce and let me tell you- a little goes a long way. * Good cocktail list *Not a lot of indoor seating but ample outdoor seating *Signs indicate they have live music on some nights... will be returning for the music and to try out more dishes read more

Just stopped her for dinner and first let me say it is in one of my favorite parts of Tucson at Sunrise and Kolb. The staff were amazing and very friendly, offering suggestions on what to order and just fun to talk to. We did go for Sonora Restaurant Week and around 4:30 so it was pretty quiet there. The food was amazing and we did order off the menu too. The Pisco Sour was very good and we order the Carapulcra super yum and earthy, and the Pescado à la Chorrillana this was very good, we started with the Causa Rllena de Camaron with shrimp supper good. Everything was amazing. We will definitely be back. read more

I wanted to try this restaurant since guy fieri did an episode here and funny enough they had it playing in the restaurant. The ambiance was good inside nothing too crazy with colorful decor and paintings of things like the Machu pichu and their patio is pretty nice. The service was good, we got some nuts or some type of roasted seeds ( I'm not sure what they are) but they were nice. For my drink, I got the pisco sour and it was so delicious , I'm pretty picky with cocktails and I was impressed. I wanted to try a lot looking at the menu but I got the paella and it was really yummy. Will have to check out the rest . read more

The place is so well decorated. The menu is plenty of options for any taste. Seafood is superb they have this salsa huancaina, is a yellow kind of hollandel sauce, rich and perfect for any combination from fries to see food. I always ordered "Lomo saltado" when in a Peruvian restaurant. It was all so great, so fresh. The service was so warm and caring, guessing is part of the "menu" of our Latin culture. The mojito was superb too. A place to go with family, or a group of friends or just your soulmate, you just activate "Inca" mode and you are fine. ;) enjoy the luxury of the place, comfortable seats, shinny glasses , subtle Latin background music and melt with the Inca mood. read more

First time trying Inca's and it was very slow for Sunday lunch. The ambiance is rustic feeling and I love the colorful placemats. My friend is from Peru so he ordered for us. We started with the Chica Mirada to drink which I loved since it wasn't too sweet. I would never have guessed it was made with corn. For entrees we had the Seco de Carne and Lomo Saltado. Both dishes were very flavorful and the beef was so tender. I enjoyed the light but flavorful sauces on both dishes. The prices are extremely high for the small portion sizes. The service was excellent. The whole Diners, Drive Ins and Dive advertising is a little obnoxious. It's on the front of the menu, on a huge sign on the window, and the episode the restaurant was on plays over and over on one of the TVs. You should be known for having amazing food and service, not for being on a silly tv show. (Has anyone ever heard Guy say something tasted bad in a single episode? I haven't.) read more

Exploring Tucson has been a lovely adventure for all the time I have lived here and this location at Kolb and Sunrise is no exception. Easy parking, located in a strip mall. Ambiance/Cleanliness-Its a very clean, small restaurant with a quaint vibe and cool placemats/coasters from Peru. 4 stars Service-Excellent. Monica was doing it all there herself for Sonoran Restaurant Week..Greeter Server, Bartender. Personable, attentive and quite on point. I don't think there is any better. 5 stars Food. The roasted corn served with drinks was tasty and surprising. The Restaurant Week menu had a Causa Rellena which is Imported yellow potato cakes, stuffed with choice of chicken or shrimp salad...Chilled, we chose shrimp and it was light and flavorful. We also ordered a Papa Rellena, potato stuffed with minced beef and Peruvian spices which came with salsa Criolla....this was delicious as well. Entree...my friend chose the Beef Saltado...overcooked, underseasoned beef strips so chewy as to be unpleasant served over a bed of pasta with onions and peppers in a soup of beef broth and soy sauce. A straight up fail. I had the Ají De Gallina shredded, overcooked chicken breast, in Aji Amarillo and roasted walnuts, served over sliced boiled potatoes. Served with a beautiful pyramid of jasmine rice. The sauce was dense and coated the mouth in a profusion of black pepper essence. I ate all of it...wouldnt eat it again. The point of Restaurant Week is to showcase the restaurant. In this case is highlighted strengths and weaknesses...too many food fobbles.. Not sure i would go back. 3 stars read more

Atmosphere was cool and festive. Monica the bar tender/waitress was fantastic. Such a joy to be around and extremely hospitable. She was AMAZING. Papas rellanas was ordered to supplement the Sonoran restaurant week menu which me and a friend ordered. It was GREAT!!!! Perfectly seasoned soft inside and crispy outside potatoe ball/cake with the most deliciously seasoned filling of meat and beans. Just wow. The starter for the Sonoran restaurant week menu was causa rellena shrimp or chicken. We chose shrimp! It was great. It was cold which I wasn't expecting but it had a great fresh flavor and was so so yummy. Everything else was terrible. Aji de gallina The chicken was underseasoned, rice overcooked, mushy and had no salt. What a disappointment. All you could taste was black pepper and maybe one other flavor but I'm not sure bc the color had me wishing I was tasting something else. It looked good but just was not up to par for the first two apps we had. The second dish from the Sonoran restaurant week menu was tallarin saltado beef. This was even less seasoned. The meat was SEVERELY OVER COOKED AND CHEWY!!! I could not believe my taste buds. It was literally hard spaghetti noodles with a soy based sauce that was didn't stick to the noodles at all. I was shocked. Apps were great. But main dishes were a fail so likely would not be back! read more

We walked in on Valentines Day, of all times , and they were super booked up. They had one 2 top left on the patio or seats at the bar. We opted for the bar & were not sorry. The food was incredible! We wanted to eat light, so we ordered to share a dish they are renowned for, Lomo Soltado, & Douglas, who was behind the bar & also waiting done tables on this extremely busy night, suggested adding shrimp to the beef, and it was phenomenal! We asked for a recommendation for another shareable & he highly recommended the Causa Rellena de Camaron--delicious! Sort of a whipped potato stuffed with beef then fried. Very fun! We loved the Pisco Sours, and husband enjoyed a glass of wine with the meal. They had live music outside, which was why we picked the bar, but to our delight it was beautiful soft Peruvian traditional music, which we really enjoyed. Very friendly attentive staff, cute inside & great food! We thought they didn't take reservations, but apparently they do--you may have to call them on the phone though. We didn't see them on open Table or Resy. read more

I love stopping by here for some unique blends of flavors on the east side of Tucson. This was my third time here (8/9) and the servers are always friendly and fast. This is a small spot especially during the summer when it's not ideal to sit on their patio. I believe they take reservations but for two people on a saturday we got a table right away. My husband and I shared two appetizers the tiraditos clasicos and Papa a la Huancaina. We also shared a main: Seco de Carne. We weren't super hunger and tend to not eat large meals anyways so this was a good amount for us. The food came out quickly and was delicious. read more

I wish I could remember our servers name because she was the bomb. Took an already amazing experience to 11. She gave great suggestions and even recommended we move to a larger table to be able to spread out and enjoy ourselves more. Every item of food was delicious, the highlights for me being the ceviche mixto and the tiraditos rocoto. My husband loved his picante de mariscos. I love the environment. It's perfect if you want to dress up for a nice dinner but want the warm, relationship-driven service you often find in Latin restaurants. I can't wait to go back! read more

Had a great girls night at Inca's! They are a small Peruvian restaurant with both indoor and patio seating. The waitress was so kind and gave us some great suggestions. We had SHRIMP CAUSA RELLENA, TALLARIN SALTADO BEEF, and AJI DE GALLINA as part of Sonoran Restaurant Week. We'll be back for sure. Everything was so tasty! The shrimp causa rellena was my favorite. read more

We had a great meal there yesterday. Service was excellent and friendly and the food was great. It's a small place but you still feel comfortable and the decor suits the food. I had the Lomo Saltado and it was excellent. Honestly, I could have just had the rice with the sauce and would have been happy. My wife had the Aj de Gallina and like mine it was excellent. The drinks and deserts were also superb. I would recommend this place and even though it's a 45 minute drive, I'll be back! read more

Service was great , atmosphere was very welcoming, around 6 o clock, resturant had 2 tables they were servicing, other than that, empty. The food , needs improvement. I ordered the ceviche. Was asked if I wanted it spicy or not spicy, I ordered it spicy. The fish was not marinated properly and there was zero spice. I asked what kinda fish they used, our server said tilapia. I sent it back and got the papa rellena. It was decent. Pisco sour was refreshing. Violin player outside was cool. read more

I recently dined at Inca's for the first time and was greeted by live music and friendly staff. The red snapper tiradito was incredibly yummy. I ordered the Lomo Saltado which was good but I kept stealing from the Jalea my boyfriend ordered, which was so mouthwateringly delicious. I would highly recommend checking this place out. read more

Inca's provides comfortable seating indoors and out with vibrant table decorations and an offering of crisped corn kernels while we perused the menu. Service was attentive and available but not overwhelming. We ordered a yucca fries alongside the causa rellena with vegetables. Fries came with an assortment of tasty sauces. Causa rellena made a great meal with a mix of green beans and carrots between layers of flavorful polenta. The sauce was delicious and pulled it all together. Highly recommend the Chicha morada, a tasty beverage- like Jamaica- but even better with cinnamon and lime! read more

Delightful Peruvian restaurant with live music on Friday night. Service starts with two bowls of canchats, tasty corn kernel like snacks. Lighter and fluffier than a corn nut but a similar taste. All things Pisco are available. If you haven't tried before than have a pisco sour, very good. Many great dishes to try. I had the Carapulra, which was excellent! Husband had the cilantro rice, which is tasty. Service was super friendly and happy to answer any questions. Clearly a favorite for many locals. read more

What an amazing experience walking into the well lit patio on a windy chilly night. Dinning on the patio, that was well heated, accompanied the enjoyment we had this day. The food was simply amazing and the portions were excellent sizes. The only thing that could top this dinning experience was our bubbly, wholesome, and informative waitress MONIKA. A name and a standard of service I won't be forgetting anytime soon. Inca's was an absolute joy and definitely a hidden Tucson gem. Thank you Monika for your time and patience, you explained the menu with fluidity to which everyone at the table could understand. We would definitely be having a family dinner again with the expectation of having Monika as our hostess to add the cherry on top of the sundae that was our dinner. read more

I went for restaurant week. Had the mashed potato and chopped shrimp with mayo appetizer. It was decent. The beef Salado noodles were not great, on par with Panda Express lo mein with a touch of sweetness. By the way, Chifa is the Peruvian fusion of Chinese & Peruvian food, so my Oanda Express analogy is not far off. The ajilo chicken was mushy shredded chicken with a bland yellow sauce. That said, we paid $55 for 2 people for this meal. With 2 non-alcoholic beverages it was over $30 with tip and tax. A bit pricey based on what we got. Service was fast and efficient and the decor was nice. That said, we saw other people order off the menu and their food looked decent. Having been to Peru, my bar may be unreasonable. My friend liked the food, so I guess it's worth trying. read more

I love everything about this place- especially their food. Service is excellent and ambiance is somewhat formal. 4.7 stars!

3 stars are mostly for their service. I've been to this restaurant probably 5 times. Service is always great from every single person working there. They are very attentive. If I'm rating this restaurant only based on their services, I would give them 5 stars. Food on the other hand is a disappointment. Peruvian food is my fav and I can confidently say I know Peruvian food coz I have eaten in sooooo many places including in Peru and my boyfriend is Peruvian. I've never had any food in this restaurant and felt fully satisfied. They are all mediocre. They are not horrible but just not real Peruvian food. I wonder if the owner knows the mediocrity of their food? read more

For me, as a vegan, my experience was three stars but for my meat eating friends they really enjoyed the fish and the shrimp. They were not a big fan of the red meat dish. Their menu is clearly labeled with what is vegetarian but it wasn't clear what was vegan. Some items appeared to have some sort dairy like cheese or cream. I tried the Yucca fries, which were in desperate need of salt and there was no salt on any of the table. The vegan dipping sauce they provided had zero taste for me, it wasn't spicy, it wasn't sweet, it was just super bland and did nothing flavor wise. I went with the quinoa stew for my entree; it was OK but severely lacking any sort of variety. It was mainly quinoa and rice, with a tiny pile of onions and a couple of pieces of corn. It needed more corn, or vegetables or something to break up all that quinoa and rice. The rice was pretty bland but fluffy and soft. We didn't have any cocktails, so I can't speak to that. I think there's a really great opportunity to build out the vegan menu, it just needs a bit more thought to it. As to the ambience, it got really loud and crowded around 6:30, there was live music outside which was nice. The service was good, and our server seemed knowledgeable and very friendly. read more

I'm adding a review of this place because the food is genuinely delicious but I feel something needs to be said about the experience of eating here (ie the reason I'm giving it four stars). I've eaten here a few times and the every time the food has been good. Usually I start off with ceviche and/or tiraditos and then go for a seafood entree (yesterday we had the pescado a lo macho and I literally had to stop myself from overeating it was so good). Service here is always friendly and attentive. My problem with Inca's is the whole diners, drive ins, and dives things. Look, I love that show. I love Guy Fieri. And I totally understand how having your restaurant featured on a show is a BIG deal. However, being at Inca's is like having this fact spammed at you. The same segment of the show replays over and over and over... Which means every single time you go to eat at this restaurant, you are watching the same 10ish minute clip repeatedly (honestly makes me feel bad for the employees who have probably watched this a million times). The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the catalinas... that is almost completely obscured by posters stating that Inca's was on Diners drive ins and dives. It's also in the menu and on a huge banner outside of the restaurant. It's just too much. I feel like this pushes regular customers away because while being on this show might draw someone in the first time, it's not what's going to keep people coming back. I find myself not wanting to eat here not because of the food or service but because I simply do not want to watch that same segment again or have my view of the outside covered with posters. It makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere after a while. To be frank I find it a bit tacky. I am writing this here in hopes that the owner tones this down a bit because they've got something good going on that's being dampened by the Guy Fieri stuff. Maybe have a photo of the owner and Guy Fieri on the wall and mention it in the menu. There's no need for the rest. Let the quality food and service speak for themselves. read more

7 of us came here for dinner on a Friday night in November and were surprised that there was only one other person eating there. Overall I was pretty underwhelmed with the portion sizes here. I left starving and I am a small girl. I had a fish dish and it was the tiniest piece of fish I have received in a regular restaurant (non-tasting menu). The chicken was dry and overcooked. I remember everyone telling me when I asked that they weren't happy with their dishes but I forgot to take down specific notes. They only had one specialty cocktail on the menu, the pisco sour, and I thought it was good. read more

This is a small quaint restaurant in a shopping plaza in the foothill area of Tucson. It has been visited by Guy Fieri for his Diners, Drive ins, and Dives show. Great view from the outdoor dining of the mountains. The staff is very friendly and explained the drinks and food very well and give suggestions. We went here after noticing good reviews on Yelp and because we were nearby. I was craving seafood so I went with the mixed ceviche, very tasty but super spicy. I wish there was like chips or something else to accompany the dish, instead of that it had a few hominy cold pieces. Not very filling either. My partner decided to go with a yellow linguini pasta topped with a few pieces of steak. Meat was a little chewy but pasta was flavorful. We went for a pisco sour for our drink per our waitress recommendation, tasty, strong and a bit too sweet. Prices are a little on the high end. read more
