She asked me to return after 15 mins, which I didn't mind. Interior is pretty beat, a bit cluttered and cramped. I asked for 4-inch layers, which was swiftly delivered within 20 mins. Irene was friendly and sweet throughout. Only $15 before tip??? WILD. After inspecting my hair at home, I saw that my split ends were gone and the layers were pretty even. Extremely fair price for the cut quality. I recommend Fashion Hair Design for folks on the hunt for no-nonsense, traditional trims. NOTE: My only issue was probably the hygiene. I didn't see much sanitation between cuts, lots of hair left on the ground and tables. I imagine it's hard being the sole employee, so it didn't really bother me that much (IMO, it feels kind of the same as going to your auntie's place who does trims for free)

I was extremely relieved and impressed when I saw how meticulous she was when cleaning and trimming my toe nails. I don't have crazy hang nails but I've been experiencing discomfort while walking from previous pedicures. The other times, the nail tech would be aggressive when digging into the nail beds and pumicing my feet. Demi was very gentle while pumicing and gave me very clean french tip. It's been a few weeks now and I definitely feel better walking! My gel manicure was very simple due to the time constraint. Demi did her best to remove as much as the acrylic dip powder while reshaping my natural nail.
