Mind you, I live in Los Feliz, and the almost hour-long drive to get to Cindy Nails Spa is totally worth it to have Tom make my hands look expensive. I went in for a basic manicure and pedicure to clean up my nails, toes, and cuticles. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from the start. The man who did my manicure wasn't friendly or gentle. He never asked how I wanted my nails shaped and immediately started filing. My fingernails are now uneven and crooked, there's still dirt underneath them, and my cuticles look awful. It was honestly the worst manicure I've ever had. The woman who did my pedicure was nice, but the quality of the work was just as disappointing. My heels actually look worse than they did before I came in, and my toenails are crooked and jagged and I'll be going home too, even them out on my own. I can't believe I spent nearly $60 for such poor service. To make matters worse, when I was checking out, the woman at the front looked at my tip and asked if I was going to leave more. Leo is great and has been doing my nails for quite some time. I recently got my acrylics taken off and get just a single layer of bio gel on my natural nails with no color or manicure. When I went in a few weeks ago, I was charged $40 because what I get is very basic. When I went in yesterday, Leo wasn't available so Mya did my nails and was very sweet, but at the conclusion told me because I didn't get color my total was only $55. I was confused as I had just paid $40 a few weeks prior. I went to the front to pay and asked the guy at the front desk (who is always pushy and not the most welcoming) why I was being charged different prices in which he responded it's $62 always for bio gel with or without color. So now, no one is on the same page and I've been told 3 different prices. Annoyed is an understatement. On top of this, the workers sit in the booths while they have no clients with their shoes off and dirty feet propped up on the benches which is not only gross, but super unprofessional. It's a shame the place is tan this way, it's a huge turnoff. Especially being treated like you're in the wrong when none of them are on the same page. I looked at the reviews and I feel better knowing it wasn't only me that saw the issues here. Won't be going back anymore.
