I was being helped by one of the most helpful and friendly employees I've experienced at this Target, and Peter approached and began watching the interaction intently in a way that felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and undermining, as if he did not trust her to do her job. The dynamic was hard to ignore and came across as both misogynistic and racially biased in the way he monitored and interacted during what should have been a completely normal customer service interaction. If this is how employees are treated in front of customers, it raises concerns about the work environment behind the scenes as well.
