This review is in regards to a couple years ago, though this just showed up on my Yelp feed, so here's my review on Yelp now. Jason..the owner of In Gear Technologies, was in the hospital for almost the entire 2 months my KTM 450 was in the shop. One of his employees told me the cost to fix it, so I paid by check (which wasn't a problem at the time), got my bike back, and it still didn't start. I took it back two more times after this. They told me I would need a new stator and quoted me the price on the KTM OEM stator that I went with. Jason had gotten out of the hospital shortly after and called me, telling me that it would cost more to install it than they had originally quoted me on. When I went to pick it up, I paid the amount they had originally quoted me on, by check. That's when he told me that there would be an $18 check cashing fee on it (though they didn't charge me that fee the first time I paid by check and had gotten my bike back), so I pulled out $20, dropped it on the desk, and told them to keep the change, then started loading up my bike. Jason said he didn't want to see my bike at his shop again (and he won't ever again or any of my other bikes) and I took my bike home. It started one time and STILL only started once after that. I took it to another place and it worked briefly, so I took it to a guy named Adam in Woodcrest, and now it runs great. I had already made a review of this, but it must not have been on Yelp, as Yelp has brought this up on my feed again, so that's why I am now doing this on Yelp. So Jason had commented back to my review saying that I didin't pay what was owed (for a bike that still only started one time after they had worked on it), and that I was rude and agressive towards his employees and threw my $20 for the check fee at them. I have no time or patience for liars, so I will not be doing business with this company again. read more

We were told by Coyne Motorsports that the Honda watercraft we had required a new turbo, a cost of roughly 6000 dollars. We took it to In Gear Technology and were told there was too much oil in the engine and they did the did an oil exchange. Fixed! Such honest people! read more

This shop came highly recommended. Tried them out for a rear shock rebuild on my DRZ400. Did not disappoint. Communicative, fast, and overall pleasure talking with any of the folks over there. I'll be back. Thanks Jason & Dylan! read more

I must say that Jason and his crew are trustworthy and very professional. We had a hickup, which happens, but Jason and his crew took care of it immediately and Jason even brought my RZR to my home which was 62 miles away! They aim to please and are very knowledgeable in the area of repairing side by sides. Thank you Jason and your crew! :) read more

wow, A breath of fresh air regarding finding a quality mechanic. Found these guys on Google after I had a bad experience with another mechanic and these guys restored my faith. I was ready to call it quits on my quad but these guys came in and save the day. At first they tried to give me a cost-effective option and unfortunately that one didn't work but But they ended up not charging me for the labor and just a parts which I really appreciate it. I would've paid for the labor because they are quality work and honest Peoples. They really care about their customer and really wanted to educate me on the proper ways of being a mechanic. I would highly recommend taking your bike quad or Can-Am to them. read more

Service is outstanding. Appreciate this team. I called and Jason had me in and out same day. Now I get to be out on my boat this weekend.

Took my bike in to get my front tire replaced because it had cracking on the sides. Bike wouldn't start before I could take it. I called them up and they did me a solid by telling me exactly what to do (gentlemen) and got my bike fixed up in no time with their help. Highly recommend! read more

In Gear Technology - My bike being repaired - Motorcycle Repair Near Me - Beaumont, California

Took my daughters 2020 RMZ250 here to have the valve clearance checked just before Halloween. Shop claimed all valves were within spec. Bike became very hard to start after our thanksgiving trip. Turns out the intake valves were way out of spec. The mechanic I took the bike to after thanksgiving said there's no way the valves were checked, and it didn't even appear that the valve cover had ever been removed. Shops like this is what gives legit businesses a bad name and why nobody can't trust anyone to do what they say they did. On top of that, this shop made other repairs that were not asked for or approved prior to doing the work. Avoid. read more

These guys are awesome! I needed a small repair to my Yamaha quad and almost took it to Redlands, but then I remembered this place closer to my home. I was met at the door by a friendly service tech who didn't patronize me for being female, LOL The repair was finished quickly and at a price that was lower than I expected. I'll definitely go back there. read more

Iam handicap and needed my tires for my scooter fixed. All I needed was the tubes put into the tires and blown up. My husband took the tires off the scooter took them down to a couple places in Beaumont who refused to do it, then took them to In Gear Technology and the guys in there said sure we will fix them they took both the tires and in 10 minutes they were done. Cost us $15.00 and we gave them a $5.00 tip they earned it, they were so nice and we will go to them again. Great job! Thanks Guys ....... read more

I needed a new tube for my klx 110. I walked in without calling first. Jason greeted me and said he would definitely have the right size tube. He slapped it together and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. I should have come here first before trying myself and pinching a hole in a brand new tube! Thank your for speedy service, I will definitely be back in the future. read more

We have been taking all of our toys to Jason for a few years now. Every time it is a great experience and he is very honest. Several times we had last minute issues with our bikes, including last weekend, and he is very accommodating and took care of us like he always does. I've had horrible experiences with local dealerships and refuse to go there. Over the time we've recommended his shop to 4 or 5 of our friends and will continue to do so. Two enthusiastic thumbs up! read more

Riding to Palm Springs we stopped nearby to get gas when the side stand of my wife's bike collapsed and the bike dropped on her while dismounting. In Gear is the best place to go for your small engine needs in the Inland Empire. Hands down best service award goes to the taller gentleman who rescued my motorcycle. We seriously didn't have it off of the truck for more than 3 minutes. They fixed my small issue and didn't ask for anything in return.
