Additionally there was a need to, scrape and apply a popcorn finish to a couple peeling areas on an existing popcorn ceiling. That technique was a bit challenging, but David was able to achieve the desired look. David's whole crew are very good at what they do. David and his crew work very hard. They clean up and do whatever is required to achieve an excellent outcome. I had competitive quotes (some lower priced) but chose Elite based on my prior experience and satisfaction with their work. This is the second time I have used Elite Painters because I was very pleased with the work they did back in 2018. In 2018 I hired them to paint five rooms and the work was excellent quality. They patched nail holes, sanded and took great care to achieve a perfect result. I believe Elite's pricing is competitive and for my most recent work from them, I added some extras once David was on-site which increased the overall cost, but the pricing was fair. I have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so. Give them a chance and you won't be disappointed!

David showed up the first day with a colleague to do the work and finished up the second day on his own. He showed up on time both days and cleaned up before he left. David gave us a great price and even touched up our window trim, door trim and the top part of our walls. Just did a fantastic job. The best thing about David is that he did the work with kindness and respect. He treated our home like it was his own. Our bathroom looks completely new. The estimates from two other contractors were much higher because they said we needed to replace the ceiling. I'm not an expert, but I'm happy with what David did without having to replace the ceiling. Arce Painting does drywall work, so if anything comes up, we'll be fine. I was grateful that he came up with an affordable solution in our budget. We look forward to working with Arce Painting again soon.

Our project was a tall order - 8 rooms, 2 bathrooms, two stairways, a large hallway, and lots of trim. As we met with other companies, we scaled back the scope of the project to be realistic - there's no way anyone could get all of that done within our budget and timeline, right? Enter Gene and his team. While some companies flat-out told us there was no way the project could get done, and others were non-committal on how much time they'd need, Gene was confident and clear about what he could accomplish and upfront about costs. At the beginning of the project we decided that 6 rooms and 1 bathroom would be more realistic given our timeline, but seeing how quickly they worked, Gene took every one of my "Ok what if we added the hallway?" and "Hmm, do you think you could also do the front bedroom and upstairs bathroom?" texts in stride and got. it. all. done. In 5 days, Gene and the Artist Painters crew painted our entire house, top to bottom; on-time, below budget, and with smiles on their faces and complete composure the entire time. Gene's approach to his clients is unique and refreshing. It's very much a collaborative experience, where he listens to your questions and concerns, addresses them with care, offers professional input, and takes extreme pride in the work he does. Buying or renting a new home, renovating, moving, and other major life changes are stressful. With this type of project, it is so reassuring to know there's a company out there with integrity, attention to detail, and whose people are personable to boot. I've hired other painters before and while they did excellent work, they always came in over what the estimate was. That matters! Gene was always transparent, always realistic. No surprises, other than being far more efficient than I could've imagined. I cannot recommend Artist Painters enough. I can honestly say I would use them for every painting project I have moving forward, without even considering other companies. Thank you Gene, Mike, and the rest of the team!

FIVE STARS!!! GREAT VALUE and absolutely PHENOMENAL QUALITY of customer service and skill!!…read more We hired Dominik and his team to paint our front porch of our 1906 American Four Square in Oak Park. The house/porch was last painted in 1999 and the whole place was truly was in desperate need of some care and attention!! But we could only afford to tackle a part of the total painting project and decided on the front porch this year. We got a few quotes from other painters and Red Sky Painting came in with a very reasonable price for the amount of work that we needed. Dominik came out the very next day after I'd requested a quote and he spent a good bit of time assessing everything- the wood quality, the rickety nature of the railings, the massive amount of chipping/peeling paint on the columns, and the rotting of the wood at the base of the support columns. He brought a Benjamin Moore paint color kit so we could match our new paint to the existing color. He was super thorough in his assessment and explained everything to me, and a day later I got a detailed quote texted to me. He is so efficient and a great communicator! Because it was the end of November, the timing to start was tricky, as the cold weather was soon to arrive. Dominik calculated that he and his team could break up the work into separate stages and complete each in the available blocks of clear weather, and have the whole thing done by the end of the month. The team came one day for scrape, prime, and wood repair. Another day to power wash. And then two days to paint. It is November 26th and true to his word, this is my absolutely gorgeous front porch, see photos!! I paint the rainbow steps myself every year, so Dominik didn't paint those, but he and his team did everything else including the window trims and as a nice surprise- added the door, for free! I didn't anticipate that and I was so pleased and grateful when I came home from work and my husband told me the team decided to add the door for free, wow!!! I am over the moon at the quality of this work, but more importantly, it is the professionalism and personality of Dominik and his whole team that really, really sets this business apart. I highly recommend Red Sky Painting. We are going to book them in the Spring to tackle the rest of the house exterior. I can't wait to see what it is going to look like fully done. But for now I am totally enjoying the view from the front! Love it so much! Thanks, Dominik!! Great work!!
